Hi my name is Lilly and I am an American expat living on the island of Koh Samui in the gulf of Thailand for the last 8 1/2 years. My husband is Thai and his name is Wat. We have 2 half Thai, half American boys named Luke and Leon. Nam is our Nanny and she is like family to us. She is from Myanmar and has worked for us for over 6 years.
Wat and I have owned several businesses together in Maenam Village in Koh Samui. Right now our restaurant Lilikoi Bistro is closed but we will let you know when we reopen.

They are sweet potatoes and yam (taro) gultanous rice balls, black grass jelly, the shaved ice are usually grass jelly, sesame shaved jelly or soya milk shaved ice. Depends what you ordered. What looks like mash is maybe yam ice cream 😂 Enjoy
Lilly, I enjoy watching your family vlog. I noticed your headlines often refer to "my Thai husband". Would it be better to change it up to "Wat" sometimes? Just friendly suggestions.

Congratulations to Luke and Leon, l was holding my breath for a moment then l saw the US flag and relief. Wat might be OK in America with his Thai food but Nam certainly would miss the boys so much, you are truly blessed to have such a beautiful person like Nam as part of your Family. 🙏

I love how Wat holds the stroller back to keep Leon sleeping. Brings back memories. You'll have to invest in an adjustable stroller, especially with the new one on the way

My dad took us to Bangkok a couple - three times when we lived on Guam years ago. Interesting place needless to say. My mom was very interested in the sights and culture. We all were actually.✨✨

As soon as it’s safe to travel arriving back in the u.s. in the autumn season would be a nice family experience with the harvest season activities in north part of the country. Stay for a year, at least.

Yes Nancy how true. I was brought up to be polite, respectful, and to be obedient. If I did something wrong. Those looks from my father's and mother's eye's were enough to know that I have done something wrong. I have a 43 year old daughter, and a 41 year old son, and I get the respect I need from them. 2 of my cousins passed at a very early age. One died of excessive drinking, and smoking, and the other took the advice from his mother. "YOU DO NOT HAVE TO WORK ANYMORE. YOU ARE A MILLIONAIRE." Listening to his mother's advice. He left his good job, and binged on drinks, drugs and women. In a matter of 3 years. Everything was blowen in the wind, and he died a homeless man. I like to watch Lilly's videos, and on hearing her testimony. It is very touching, moving and inspiring. God bless her and her family.

You will have to learn how to cook Thai curries I'm sure you can buy coconut milk and curry paste in the United States as you can in Canada and we have an excellent Thai restaurant in my small town. You have a lovely family. I love the Thai people and their food 💕
