exactly!!! Best example is Hayao Myjazaki. His movies are so beautiful with all the slow moments where one just gets to be. I think that older Disney Movies were so much more enjoyable. But I guess most of us always like the movies from our childhood more than newer stuff :-)

My late uncle's best friend was Eleanor Audley who was the voice of Maleficent and Lady Tremaine. When I was a young teen, I did a drawing of Lady Tremaine for her and she sent me an autographed photo that was taken of her when she was dressed in the costume and being filmed for the animator's reference. It's one of several Disney artifacts in my possession that I treasure.
Maleficent was my idol when I was a little girl. All my friends wanted to play the princess and I lived to play Maleficent 🖤🖤

Honestly, I think it's great - it's such a cool reinterpretation of the story, and the blending of 2D and 3D animation feels like the perfect choice for the film. But unfortunately, it was also incredibly expensive and didn't even come close to making that money back, so it was definitely a flop in that sense. I feel like that leads some people to remember it as an actual bad movie when it really isn't!

My first Disney movie in a theatre (which was the only way to see them back then) was Bambi … with dozens of other children also crying inconsolably and registering their first core traumas. I love the review of going down memory lane of Disney movies. I am definitely not the biggest fan of these live action remakes, but my favorite adaptation of a Disney movie is Cinderella, Everafter with Drew Barrymore and Roger and Hammerstein version of Cinderella. My favorite Disney movies are Sleeping Beauty, The Little Mermaid, and Beauty and The Beast.
I was so gay growing up that I drew nipples on my Aladdin picture book. Couldn’t fathom why he didn’t have any!

OMIGOD!!! So many voice impressions, Matteo's best one without a doubt was Snow White! Not only did he capture the tone of her voice, but he also captured the scratchy noise that old film made!! It's kind of hilarious he (understandably) hates the character, yet he still graced us a great impersonation!

The way I have watched this episode so many times and honestly here we go again. I live when Matteo sings and thank you for always knowing the illustrators/performers etc. No one spoke about Brave though and thats jail.

Well zippity--do-dah! Anyone remember SONG OF THE SOUTH? Disney would rather forget that one! Everyone knows that PINOCCHIO is the greatest animated Disney film of all time. Everything else pales before it. "When You Wish Upon a Star" is almost as iconic as "OVER THE RAINBOW" in the Hollywood songbook. Can we move on from Disney and start discussing our favorite John Waters movies next time? There would still be enough songs for Matteo to belt out. I'd love to hear his rendition of "The Girl Can't Help It" or "Hairspray".
