Do you know it’s really funny the more I watch people do these pseudo debates the more I realize that none of these people have ever debated anything or anyone. It is so easy to listen to what somebody is saying write down points you disagree with and then reply after they’re finished speaking.

When Romans used that word for the first time it was to taunt Jewish people and called the region as mentioned above. This was never a thing until they used that word to describe the region. The fact that some Muslim tribes decided to call it a "nation" or whatever they try to come up with is only because they have no other foundation to come up with, I mean nobody can go 2000 years ago and fact check right? Besides, even their flag was adopted only on 1964. Besides they lost all the wars they had with Israel as all the other neighbors around. So even if theoretically it was their land, they lost it long time ago. If this is the thing then, lets return North America to the native Americans, or south America to their historic owners, or! Lets take even farther and return Australia to the Aborigines... Why? Just because they want so? Again, makes no sense... This whole mumbo-jumbo is only due to Islam = evil = hates everything that is not Islam. If Jews didn't exist, they would've went after Christians. But there are way less Jews so its easier to war with smaller population. But Christians are next too. I know MANY Christian Arabs here and all they say that they're always having problems with their Muslim brothers even though they speak same language.

Yet most of the time anything you post no matter how fact check with historic back up going to get called lies and you labeled something absurd so the other side can just defect and dismiss. More so with an issue like the israel palestine conflict where emotions run high. Doesn't help the real truth is neither side is innocent neither side has a moral leg to stand on. This just makes it worse as both side try to claim the moral high ground when neither have it.

@@derpaherp8981 there's a lot of context needed into this conflict, which most people don't have including me, I don't know fully the extent of the conflict but what I do know is, Israel was built after colonial powers bulldozed thousands of houses and illegally occupied rhe land, now it's too late to reclaim the land however, Israel for the past decades has been restricted trade in Gaza but blocking it's port, only 25% of arabs are eligible for voting in Israel (25% of LEGAL voting age) and israelis are discouraged from inter racial marriage otherwise they'd lose some part of their citizenship. It's apartheid, it's stupid to assume that Palestinians will sit down and take it, of course they'll retaliate violently and sometimes sometimes u unjustifiable

I usually agree with Asmon's takes, but I feel like there's important nuance missing here. The ruling class are the ones making the rules and they always will be. If these rules happen to be unjust, or contradictory, or hypocritical, then the people living under those rules should be able to let it be known, and some level of discomfort or annoyance is most likely required to start that conversation. Yes, the people breaking rules are committing crimes. However, if they didn't, the ruling class would simply ignore their criticisms to keep living in the world they crafted for themselves. Talking about it would definitely be the best solution, but politicians have ignored the will of the people for years in favor of industry money, on both sides of the aisle.
Their critism is ignored anyway and their political enemies weaponise the footage of their violent behaviour, the moment you start breaking stuff, you're written off by everyone whose life you damaged.
