This Eclipse is a rare example of an unmodified version of a 2G DSM purchased from the original owner. It has a 5 speed manual transmission, a '99 only black leather interior, factory mud-flaps and chrome wheels.

Dsm cars are meant to be built but man oh man you are blessed with the cleanest stock Dsm. I would never modify that beauty.

I envy thee! Everyone else who has or had one completely trashed theirs. If they are still rolling around in my area they're burning oil with a cracked head gasket and body panels held with bungee cord. Through this whole video I didn't know your car was running. So quiet! The Mexican I bought mine from gratuitously slapped on a Greddy Ti-C catback so it's anything but quiet. @_@
Car is mostly rebuilt but I kept the exhaust on it only because it's stainless steel, won't rust. Shops only tend to install generic steel mufflers and piping which brown, rust, then fall off within 6 months.

I just bought a 99 Eclipse Spyder with 46,000 miles on it from a old couple. I paid $4,500 for it. It so clean!! Curious of what you paid for this?
Congrats on the purchase! You will enjoy it! And I paid a pretty penny at the time but the original owner gave me a nice discount for helping her out years before I bought the car.
Imagine some 17 year old in a Civic pulling up wanting to race an Eclipse and seeing an old lady in the driver's seat.
Ive got a 99 gs with 121000 on it the same color plus cat back exhaust cold air intake dc sports header dc sports sway bars msd igniton systems tenzo 18 wheels and tenzo racing seats. 5 speed with sunroof and dyno proven 175hp with no turbo.

4g63? Thought us got the 420a
The Base model RS and GS got the Chrysler 420A. The GS-T, GS-T Spyder & GSX models got the 4G63T. Same engine as the EVO platform and the GSX model has the same AWD drivetrain as the EVO 3.
