First, love the channel. Are you ever planning to go boosted? I like the nitrous set up and the times your getting, just hate that once your nitrous runs out your no longer running fast. I'm trying to go procharge myself with supporting mods to start.
Thanks man, and I would like to but to go boosted, I would have to built the motor and get the boost plus upgrade fueling, which those 3 things alone would be around 20k in parts and labor. I will be saving up, but at this point not in the near future. NA the car still runs strong and keeps up with some boosted cars so it’s still fast just not fast fast haha

Yes it would be possible especially if you got a converter to really help being the 60’ down

If your not racing it and just cruising normal driving its around 18-20mpg

Jorge, how did you get your 60 ft time down from 1.8 to 1.6 and quicker?
That’s all in the nitrous. I spray it from around 1800rpm and start at 40% of the shot and ramp it in to 100% of the 175 shot

Yes during the live or when I have live videos, you can do what’s called a super chat. And you can put what ever amount you would like that way.

Why did you go with the dry instead of the cold air intake? Whats the difference?
The dry was the one that was recommended as the better airflow version

The a10 is tunable on 19s and there is a way to tune the newer ones. The car ran 10.6 at 133 NA

Yes still stock drive shaft and axles
What size are your welds ? 18 front and 17 rear?
Yes that’s correct 18x5 front and 17x10 rear
What would you say you saved in labor doing most of this yourself?
Ummm I would say quite a bit. The nitrous install itself probably could be around 1k in labor or more, headers another 500-600, and other ins and outs. I would say around 3k in labor was saved by doing it myself.

I didn’t even realize you had an under drive pulley installed, what’s the benefit for that
it helps with harmonics and balance, but its supposedly good for around 5hp since it frees up some resistance i would imagine.

I did most of the work except the heads and cam stuff which was done by excessive in pearland!
How much hp were you making here?
NA was around 545 and on nitrous was 730

18+ mustangs can run 9s na with just cams, cobra jet, longtubes, E85 and suspension
And completely all gutted and with a stall. And even at that ive only ever heard of 1 or 2 that have done that.
@@JLSpeed true but they’re compensating for the lack of power by dumping weight to get there, if they sprayed a 150 shot to make up the power then I think the cars would be about dead even with similar setups

@@LordGrandDad I know of a FBO 18 mustang spraying a 175 full weight and he can’t get out of a 10.2-10.3 at 133ish
There are plenty of GPI and Pray Performance Camaros cracking 9's all NA, I'm sure there is a few 18 and up Mustangs hitting 9's NA but VERY FEW and yes they are tin cans. Also plenty of bolt on Camaros hitting low 10's, there was actually a bolt on 6th gen Camaro that made a 9 second pass NA, have yet to see a bolt on mustang even come close to low 10's in the 1/4 mile

There are plenty of NA camaros running 9s. Only thing missing on my set up was a converter to run 9s without the nitrous.
@@JLSpeed yeah i saw one in Texas run 9s with boltons , LT’s just have to be done right. I see so many slow Camaros, mustangs are just too easy to mod. Your SS was insane
