As a true Lakers fan, I would rather play the Nuggets right now, in the 1st round, while AD and Lebron are well rested and not injured...having to play the Nuggets 2 or 3 rounds into the playoffs works against Lebron because of his age.

I agree that you shouldn’t intentionally lose a play-in game, but you’re assuming that Denver is 100% guaranteed to meet at the WCF.

Last year the difference in the series with the Nuggets was that DLo averaged only 6 points a game against them when he averaged about 18 points a game against the Warriors and Grizzlies, so DLo has to deliver 😂

The Nuggets lost to Phoenix when KD and Book shot like 120% from the field. That's it. Not that the Nuggets were bad, those two just didn't miss shots. But that's not sustainable im a 7 game series.

but that being said, a few things that can give lakers hope is lebron is healthy, acho says lebron gave you his best punch but he didn't lebron was not healthy and it is evident just this entire season compared to how lebron looked post foot injury last year and all post season he was on 1 foot last year. 2 dlo averaged i think it was 6 ppg vs denver before getting benched so if dlo can bounce back and even play 80% of what he was in the regular season that is a massive improvement
