I think historically that first game on the road is the best chance to steal a game. Lakers threw their haymaker and they lost by 10+.

MAIN reason that Denver has consistent play from the “other guys” is because it’s system in place for them. Unlike the lakers where lebron is the system. The days of that working are over.

@papimarv4422 no it's not the lebron system. Lebron ran the system when he could when he was younger man in his prime. He no longer runs his own system because he's not in his prime anymore. This is why they brought in guys like vanderbilt, dlo, dinwiddie and pieces that could get and create their own shot and attempt to run the offense but since none of them can do it as good as lebron he has to do it.

Nuggets gas the Lakers since they have to chase constantly. It tires out their shooters and they end up having lapses on defense. Bron and AD will keep getting tired and nothing can fix that.
This sounds like the same conversation they had last year. Then when the Denver takes Game 2, they will still insist the lakers have a shot. Its hyped-up television. They have to lie and tell everyone its not over. If they all agreed its over, no one will return to watch the show tomorrow and the next days.

The answer is simple and I said it before the series even started. If D'Lo doesn't outplay Murray, Lakers is going home. It's no way around it.
What that dude fails to realise is, the reason why the nuggets role players show up is because Murray and PARTICULALRY Jokic make the game easy and simple for them. Not one of those guys are asked to create their own offence. Not one of those guys are asked to go and attack. They get cuts, they get open shots off Jokic assists and they play D. Thats the difference. So yes they show up, but its because their best player makes the game easy for them.

They're wilding. A LeBron led team has always struggled against "actual teams." Because his teams don't play team ball that maximizes everyone's play. The Nuggets are a far superior team, and they're going to crush LA's hopes of making out of the first round. Polished offense is the only way to beat Denver and LeBron's teams aren't polished.

Playing the champs and acting like you are the champs is 2 different things. The reveal of game 2 is that Denver is playing a mental game that enhances their talent while LA is just relying on talent and name. This is why Lebron got tired, AD was bent over because his is burned out and the support cast is non existent. People need to wake up. LA maxed out and lost. This is why prior to the series LA was "scared" to play Denver. Now we are seeing the reality play out. We will take it one game at time and continue to watch Denver play a system game versus LA playing a star game.

Lebron scored a total of 27 points. 19 the first half...how many in the second two quarters? So question is...where was Lebron in the second half?
The 3rd most consistent player to me is reeves
Unsurprisingly, nobody brought up what exactly happened in the three minute time span where the Lakers twelve point lead disolved. Lebron had a great game, for the most part... except for those 3 minutes. Multiple botched defensive assignments, I count four in total, but to be generous, no less than three of them were innarguably Lebron's fault. That, a long with multiple terrible offensive possessions where Lebron settled for bed shots, is what lead to the Nuggets tying the game and taking the lead. Now, don't get me wrong most of the mistakes that were made by Lebron were almost definitely fatigue related, which is understandable for a 40 year old man who has played more minutes and games than any currently living player, active or otherwise. That is the issue, though, isn't it? Both he and AD aren't capable of giving much more than they gave in game 1. They played great, and not only was it not enough, but the fatigue that came as a byproduct also became a large contributer to the loss. It also doesn't help that they're being coached by an autistic thumb and are relying on an inferior supporting cast. I don't love agreeing with Acho, but he's dead right on this one. That might be the worst game that the Nuggets play this series, and the Lakers couldn't capitalize on it. To believe that the Lakers can somehow outplay this Nuggets team four times in the next six games is just blatantly irrational at this point.
THERE'S ALWAYS HOPE BUT THE ODDS ISN'T IN THEIR FAVOR.
