WBBL, WPL will not really compete against each other, but for an Aussie player, WBBL will be like the top Aussie honour for cricket (other than representing their country) vs WPL where there is money & sponsorship. If you take out the nationalism part of it, maybe Cricket Australia should get some few sponsors from say Australia or even hook some Indian IPL/WPL franchise to sponsor invest in WBBL. If its for betterment of the cricket & players why not? Of course the atheletes will have less time to recover, but with careers just lasting a decade or so, it would be make the best out of the decade & also taking care of your health. WPL is monetising womens cricket, getting the top talent to play in India & also getting paid for it handsomely. Further this will further get into something like Womens Cricket champions league where say the 3 top clubs from the member countries play together to get the honour of top club (like uefa champions league) thats where it will end up, already such an event is there for mens cricket. This will work with big sponsors to put that event in place.
