women's cricket is better to watch than women's football
Up until this season, where some of the younger English players looked a bit frayed at the edges, I just enjoy how much THEY enjoy playing.
And it’s quite intense too u can already see so many heat up moments and fights which goes on to show the girls are very passionate about the sport which is a great thing for the game going forward
still better than watching the women play football
Woman cricket is more hardcore than man football

WPL will give women’s cricket huge impetus, there will be great talent coming out in women’s cricket.
Entire WPL fanbase is 85% of fans from single club RCB ...

That's an unfair statement. Yes women's cricket is getting what they deserve now.
But that's because of the improvement the girls have shown. They weren't short changed before. It was just that women's cricket was absolutely underwhelming to watch before. But they've improved their fitness and power and the overall appeal of the game. Also, WPL had crazy viewership this time.

I am a hard core RCB fan but i didn't watch a single match because i didn't had hope we'll win the tournament....even after knowing that RCB reach the final i still didn't watch(superstitious beliefs) until we needed 14 runs in 16 balls... Finally we won our first trophy our girls did changed the history 😭😭😭 RCB RCB RCB 🎉🎉🎉

I love how Nas and Ath, don’t dial it in. They’re proper thinking journos who understand the game. They understand that the game is different to the one they played. There’s never once a “it was better in my day” comment. I hope the continue to lead the cricket coverage for a long time yet.

Womens cricket became very interesting I don’t know why.! It’s not the case in soccer and other games where it’s boring to watch them.

It is just that woman cricket specially t20 is very similar to man .
They score 150+ almost all of time ,hit 70+ metre six all the time .
Obviously the pace of the ball is less but the intensity and fielding have been very par with man.
Because here skills mindset calculation timing etc matters
I enjoy seeing the women’s game develop, and why shouldn’t the top players earn good money, the danger is that old chestnut of will it be dominated by the big three. Perhaps the T20 leagues will become more preeminent in the long term. Crazy Heath and Gibson were denied a chance to play in the BBL final, so they could sit around in an orange bib in India spectating.
As/if not more entertaining, teams are getting more closer to each other!

Guys, Your Board should ask.BCCI to allow 2 players in each top tier ranji team. It will hone your spinners skills and prepare your batsmen to handle spunnjng wickets. Why dont u do that ?

I loved the spirit amongst the girls this season. Viewership will only pour in more money into the sport. Women must support it by watching it live to push the business.
Give it 3-5 yrs and WPL be 2 times what it is now and in 10 yrs 5 times of what it will be in next 5 yrs

Can anyone tell me, why josh tongue did not get selected in test tour for india, he took wickets of steve smith, David warner, khawaja in both innings.
Look they are taking 41 year old Anderson, a useless injury prone Ollie Robinson and an injury prone Mark Wood. No love for the younger guys like Potts or tounge. And how are these guys gonna improve if we don’t blood them. Yes they’ve taken young spinners but you need to take different faster bowlers aswell. Cos by the next ashes in 25/26 Anderson will be gone, Woakes and Wood Might be gone and Robinson won’t be in the England team. So need to start planning for the ashes down under straight away.
They selected Gus Atkinson who is a white ball bowler, I saw him in odi against West Indies, and he was looking very tired in 6th or 7th over, and throwing fulltoss only, he is really good in t20s and decent in ODIs, but he have to play domestic for red ball.
