- The parents of the little girl who fell to her death from a cruise ship are speaking of their heartbreak. “It is awful, it is impossible she is gone,” mother Kim Weigand told Inside Edition about her daughter, Chloe. Kim’s 10-year-old son broke the news to her about what happened to the infant. Adding to the family's anguish, Kim said, “her birthday is Friday, so she would have been two. I had planned to go and see ‘Frozen 2’ with her that was going to be her first trip to the movies." #InsideEdition
This is a horrible horrible horrible accident, but this is not the cruise line’s fault.

They video says "He was supervising Chloe when she fell." She didn't fall, he lifted her up over the railing held her out the window and dropped her. She had nothing to do with this reckless decisions.

I would never forgive anyone that dropped my child like that. Don't know how they're defending him and trying to sue the cruise line. The grandfather is fully to blame.
This was clearly a terrible accident. I feel bad for the family and the grandfather, but the cruise ship is not to be blamed here.

My question is, colorblind or not, out of all the windows throughout the whole room, I find it ironic that the ONE open window was the one he happened to set Chloe up on. And wouldn’t he have been able to feel a breeze or atleast some sort of air from that window to indicate it was NOT closed? So many questions. This was not the cruise ship’s fault. I’m not saying he did it on purpose, but so many things don’t line up with the story.
He clearly dangles her out the window in an act of careless horseplay or out and out aggression. He had to know what he was dangling the baby just like JockCo. She didn't slip through the open window. He dropped her out the window either by accident or on purpose. Colorblind people aren't too stupid to know when they have reached outside a window.

What happened was tragic, but the cruise is not responsible. You can distinguish an open window from a closed window. You can feel the air blowing in. It is grandpa's fault. He dangled her out the window and caused her death. He was rightfully charged with negligent homicide, it's his fault. Their lawsuit will fail because the cruise is not responsible for stupidity.
