Cool but completely unnecessary. The Xbox one S rarely over heats. Microsoft went to great lengths to prevent a repeat of the RRD. I rarely turn mine off and runs for weeks with no issues during gaming or streaming

True that, It'll actually shut down if it does get too hot. I know because it happened to me once after like a full day of running it, but yeah it's got it's own fail safe mechanism. The death rings are a thing of the past.

Xbox Ones get hot and the CPU will throttle.
You can overclock an xbox one, it just needs to be modded. I doubt that it would be worthwhile to mod one though, as good mods only come out for prev gen consoles usually. It depends on your personal experience however, how worthwhile it may be to mod on your own.

He was testing every fitting to make sure none leaked, therefore he didnt do the rest of the work of mounting to findout there is a leak.
This is so cool not only did he show its possible he just stopped the dust issue every PClconsole has (Dust collection)
Sweet idea, but I would probably go and cover the ends of all the hoses. Just to make sure that leaks are less likely.

Did you removed the watercooling from the chips alongside the APU? Doing that will overheat the system in the long run, you need cooling on the surrounding chips, too!!!

you guys even know what your talking about? Thats the RAM, which dosnt need a heatsink. They dont run that hot, and with water cooling the cpu wont heat up the surronding areas.

Shaggy is better to the memory chips to have a little heatsink, also the VRM need heatsink because those mosfet get very hot. And also because he didnt install any fan to move air inside the console, the hardrive and the power supply gona be much hotter.
I remember that some models of graphics card had problems because the VRAM chips got very hot due to no cooling properly. Xbox one use the same GDDR5 memory than GPU.

Yeah 5 minutes, when it’s sped up. In real time it’s more like 19 days.
In real time, usually it would take like 40 - 50 - 60 minutes (Depending on how many parts, depending on what type of parts, and depending on the sizes of the parts and stuff you use)

Great, but what's the point? I don't think you can overclock, and you could just use liquid metal and a bigger heatsink if thermal throttling is an issue. Not to mention you now have to maintain the loop, power the pump externally, and probably drain it whenever you want to bring it anywhere.
is there a larger copper heatsink that fits the xbox one x if i modified the case or even removed the case all together? IS the bolt pattern be compatible with after market PC CPU coolers?

You should install some little copper heatsinks over the memory chips and VRM mosfets, and install a fan so the hard drive, power supply, VRM and RAM dont get hot.
Also I think this is completely unnecessary because this console has the best design. The only thing I could change will be thermal paste and tweak the fan.

Liquid cooling is much more efficient at cooling down hardware components, but in this case it's not necessary. Cool thing to do tho

No. My cousin has one, i even measured its temps using a infrared thermometer, but i didnt see nothing above 65°c and basically most of the time in the 50's °c while playing heavy games.... My friend also haves one, and its the same thing, it wont lag or heat up in-game. Even streaming the gameplay to a pc to record it or even streaming into a pc to be able to play with a xbox 360 controller.
Every other xone i've saw want hot to the touch, nor had too hor air coming out (i usually dont walk with a infrared thermometer), but the temperatures in my hands was similar to the ones i measured.
The xone is a very cold console as i said, unlike my ps4 that looks like a heater with its fan that looks like a plane. Also my old x360 have the same issue, lags a bit in some games and really heat up, sound like a jet. But i never even replaced the thermal paste... Just opened to clean dust.
The xone is actually well thermal designed from what i saw in dissassemble videos, so no, why every console in the market?
I really dont get it, these guys get a cold console that work fine and start to do some really agressive cooling mods for nothing...
