    People that complain about the using of external fan, they forgot that some people live in tropical climate place with pretty hot temperature 😅
    Sometimes not everyone does have any AC in their room, but I prefer to use external fan from bottom and make it stand in vertical.
    That black circle is the core of the airflow, if we block it directly, even by using fan absorber, it will ruin the air flow, but if we put another type of fan in the bottom of the XBOX, and stand it vertically, we won't ruin the airflow, as the flow will go to the top and to the core through that black circle. I have 3 types of fan, this one, a type for the bottom, and another one for the top. But I won't recommend this one, as it will block the core of the airflow.

    I went to the official xbox forums for answers about using external fans to help pull hot ari out and pull in cool air and this is what i was told//// Please take any additional fans off of the console, they do nothing to help it.
    A game console has years of work designing the airflow inside of it for maximum efficiency, adding additional fans can disrupt the static pressure inside and hinder, not help. The best case scenario is that it does nothing.
    Using them can, and has in the past voided warranties.

    • @bigboydrz
      @bigboydrz Před rokem

      Yeah you're a silver spoon licker for sure
      Do you think the console manufacturers would do anything to tell you the thing was not designed for planned obsolescnece?
      The PRIUS had overheating battery packs that caused them to fail from 2010 to 2015. Simply turning on the fan once in a while really helps keep electronics cool, but it annoys people.
      No, the box is NOT engineered to be OK being hot. EVERY THING IN EXISTENCE, ESPECIALLY SILICON CHIPS are subject to the laws of entropy. Argument closed.

      It may void the warranty but they do help. Last week my Xbox started overheating every time I tried to launch a game. It's out of Warranty because I had it since 2021. I took it apart and cleaned it but that didn't help. I stood the Xbox up and that didn't help either. I stood the Xbox up on a cheap portable fan from Walmart and its been fine since.
      This system overheating is a super common issue because they obviously needed to spend a little more time researching airflow if this is what years of design produces.

    It is better not to install an external cooling fan, let alone keep the internal heat from escaping! On the contrary, if the wind is sent inside, the wind cannot be discharged, and the heat of the cooling fan that is originally attached to the XBOX cannot escape, increasing the internal temperature and shortening the life. The fan inside is trying to release the heat to the outside, but the winds collide with each other and have the opposite effect! If you use an external fan, it is better to put the XBOX main unit horizontally and put it under it!

      It depends of which level do you use because if you let it in automatic is not that loud cuz it turns on and off but if you put de maximum speed it is actually pretty loud. I mean I use headsets and all I hear is the game so I don't hear at all the noise

    Why in the world would you put a cooling fan on the EXHAUST . It's an exhaust it's supposed to blow OUT the HEAT from INSIDE the xbox . So silly

    This is clearly just any advert for this product. A pointless waste of plastic that is not required.
