@@WestbrickFansGotNoBrainsYes, JB has been scoring much more now that KP is out, but that chemistry between those two has elevated Jaylen’s game. Because he got so comfortable with passing to KP, it’s made him better about facilitating and looking to pass to his teammates to get better shots, it adds another layer of difficulty when teams guard him. They know they can’t just double him and force him to take a bad shot, because they know he can just pass it out.

He started out as a raw athlete who couldn't dribble or shoot, but he added a corner three, a mid-range game, and better ball handling and passing abilities over time (even his left hand dribble looks better!). This year, he's become much better at recognizing his strength advantage over smaller guards on both ends of the floor. He's still an inconsistent free-throw shooter though given how solid he is at shooting!

As a Cs fan who watches every game, the Cs don’t get enough credit for how much players develop on their team, including JT and JB! There are several recent examples of players who have played their best basketball on the Celtics, improved significantly, or are playing their best (Kornet, Hauser, Pritchard, IT, KP, DWhite, Smart). Media seems to push this narrative that the Celtics have an all star team but the fact is the Celtics have 2 stars and a strong supporting cast that is in their ideal roles, and plays their roles well. Before Boston, nobody was talking about KP affecting winning like they are now, or Derrick White…76ers sent Al Horford packing, OKC didn’t play him…now that they’re in Boston media acts like the Celtics have an Avengers type of roster.

I really do believe that the 300+ million dollars and the negative feedback about him getting that is contributing to why he’s doing what he’s doing now. When he got that contract I don’t believe everybody thought he deserved that huge contract including myself but the money these days is huge to begin with, he’s proving his worth now! And he’s playing a whole lot better with less turnovers. And that’s called maturity and age as well.😊

It’s already been happening for a long time. Tatum and JB have both been to multiple conference finals and 1 finals appearance in their young careers.
Because they haven’t won a championship yet people seem to forget how dominant Tatum and JB have been together.

Bruh, JT has better stats this year across the board pretty much, and he is only taking ONE more shot. That's it.
4 more ppg, more rebounds, more assists, better 3%, better FT%.
JB has a barely better 2p%. That's it. JB is not better. Right now he is definitely playing a better stretch of basketball than Tatum, but overall this year Tatum is still ahead of him.
