This is to anyone who is thinking of cutting their hair coz it’s too hard to manage or it gets too out of control or for anyone who has long hair already…I wouldn’t recommend cutting it. I grew mine for 2 years then I cut it. I instantly regretted it, I’m up to my 9th Month of growing my hair now and its crazy and i can’t control it but hey it’s worth the wait once you tie it up or leave half up half day.

I’ve always had straight hair but for the first time about a full year ago I grew my hair to near my shoulders and it was straight at the root but at the bottom it curled really heavy actually like some giant coils. I decided to get short hair and now I’m growing my hair again but for some reason my hair is curly even when short, this has never happened before. Can’t wait for my hair to get long again because if it’s curly when it’s short it’s gonna look 100x better long

Don't forget that products really matter for curly hair!! Especially stay away from drying chemicals like sulfates. Silicone can make it feel smooth and silky but it's really bad. It forms a barrier on your hair and can only be removed by harsh soaps like sulfates. Curly hair NEEDS moisture so condition it and use deep conditioning masks. Denman brushes are great for defining curls too! Great cut at the end 👌

With hair still wet i apply a leave in conditioner then brush my hair, then apply a mouse or gel, after hair dries completely I use a oil and break up the dried hair. That is all. Sleep with a silk pillow and bonnet, then in morning I gently fluff up hair with fingers and good to go. Once a month I use a clarifying shampoo and every 2 weeks I use a shea moisture strengthen & restore treatment mask instead of conditioner and let it sit in hair for 15 minutes. Shea moisture, tresemme, and aussie are all good brands for curly hair you can find a mousse/oil etc specific for curly hair.

Pretty sure Phillipinos have the highest amount of curly heads in Asia. Look up a philipino or Hispanic hair care tutorial

It looked like that when it dried because it appears you didn't have any hair product in it, to devine your curls and minimize frizz.
