Wait. “Natural white boy afro,” 😂 Quite the opening statement sir! But let me continue watching…
Bold to be sure hahaha!
Unless u African decent it’s not Afro it’s just a “fro”

@@Auzblk5765 no I’m pretty sure that’s not true

@kettlecuber9183 4c is thick as fu*k time consuming hair. So glad I'm between 3c and 4a, just 3 or 2 hair products leaves with coily or curl hair

Yo, papa bless you guys! Seriously honored
This!
Wild… I have 3c hair and never thought to go for a looser style, I’ve always hated when the top of my hair gets too flat and straight but this genuinely doesn’t look bad on you
I have 3a-3c and I've always preferred bigger looser curls.
how do you prevent from the top of your hair or head from being flat and straight?
@@bIeed. usually in that case I tease the hair lightly with my fingers or something. I’ve seen some ppl also use like a pair of wide tooth combs and have the combs cross each other like swords at the top of the head as a way of teasing without picking the hair out and messing the curls up. Products like leave in conditioner help with curl definition too, including at the top
me too
Yeah bro it kinda sucks
I’ve been on a hunt for this type of curly hair advice for over a decade. You deserve an academy award sir.
i can confidently say this is the best youtube video I've watched from the information to the skill to your dedication! literally amazing and i will deffinitly follow this exactly shown
this is almost exactly my routine! I have long natural 3a hair but a few months back started doing something really similar to what you did here- and now my hair is more like a 2b beach wave. I feel like it's a lot more fitting for my face and my style, and the technique isn't damaging!
i got 3a hair too, how do you deal with the ends of the hair though? The rest of my hair goes back to the natural shape after i take off the hair tie
@@causewhynot8891 I don't use a hair tie in my routine, I just brush it when its wet with a lot of product, don't scrunch, wrap it in a towel and let it sit 2-3 hours. then I take it down, add a bit of water if needed, finger comb, and add gel and then just let it air dry from there. its important to focus the gel on the ends. For me, it works well enough. My curls are on the bigger/looser side of the 3a (but they are still spirals), so it may be different if your hair is tighter
@@sydneyradig2589 when you say you wrap it in a towel do you mean plopping or how exactly do you wrap it? I‘d love to try this, I have 3b-3c hair and curious to see how it would turn out🥰
@@belleame-st3sg I do not plop, I wrap it it a microfiber towel! after I finish rinsing out my conditioner, I flip my head over and comb leave-in conditioner through the hair. I do not scrunch. I drape the microfiber towel (I use TurbieTwist hair towels) over the back of my head, and then wrap it around the length of my hair and twist, and then pull the twist over my head and let it sit in the towel for 2-3 hours. So the hair is pulled straight and twisted inside the towel the entire time. Hope this helps!
@@sydneyradig2589 oh okay I see, thank you so much, I‘ll give it a go on my next washday! 🫶🏽
wow man such a high production quality. everything is so on point in the video the lighting the background the music and that green couch was my favourite.
Ay thank you so much, bro! I seriously appreciate the kind words
@@DemetriosLevi your videos are amazingly high quality, and I am genuinely surprised as to how good your videos are.
This was such an amazing video. Perfect balance of humor and information. Thank you!
I am bald but the vid was as usual fun to watch mate 😂🙏🏻
bro😭
LMFOAOAOA
Don't give up man. I love your videos, and I hope to see your channel grow even more.
Thank you, my hair has always been so coily even tho my hair type was 3a-3c. As a kid, my hair was perfect, so this helped
This guy is the man ! I don’t know why he doesn’t have millions of millions of subscribers . The greatest videos
Thanks for this amazing video dude. You have no idea how hard it is to find helpful videos like this one for men
That curling stuff is good! I used to use it before using a blowdry to dry my hair and I used to put my head upside down and slide my fingers on my scalp, pinch my fingers together (so 👋🏼✋🏼, open close) and pull away from my scalp. That gave me SOO much volume and i liked how the top wasn't flat or too curly.
For the rest i just pulled my curls while they were drying and it gave a wavy effect which i really liked 😊 i should do it again
I watched your old vid for curly hair tips and it’s been amazing so far! One thing that has helped me is letting my hair dry in the opposite direction it sits. For some reason with my hair it loosens it up
What does that mean?
Wdym?
Great video, your content is such high quality!
Thank you so much, brother! I seriously appreciate it
Your haircut looks great on you, and both styles look incredible with it.
I'd just rethink leaving the conditioner on as I heard that could be damaging but hey, chances are you've already looked into that more than I have.
Yoooo this is an excellent video! Thx you just inspired me to grow out my hair! I always avoided it bc it would turn into a fro but I hope it works out with these tips B)
i know it's nice to change tuff up, but your natural hair state is the most beautiful bro!
I loved seeing a guys take on this topic. I live my curls but I want better length
you’re talented bro! thanks for this video imma try this method
Underrated channel! Your video style is amazing
Nice video man, this new hair fits very well on you
This man KNOWS HIS STUFF. Like 10/10.
I think both styles (Afro and stretched curls) look good. So treasure you can do both styles 🤗
Best hair care video I have ever seen in my life
This video is absolutely wholesome!!! I have 4a curls and got a big chop and bow that it's growing out the shape is horrible to wear down. I hope this will work for my hair so I don't have to damage it with a relaxer.
I have 4a curls aswell, did this work?
@ycmao3910 not really but it was still pretty cute my shrinkage is just too much
@@sondrahull5970 so it isn’t worth doing?
dont do relaxers!! the cancer isn’t worth it
this should have alot more views
It should. CZcams has not been recommending my three latest vids and it's way below what it should be. I have no idea what's going on but I'm a little pissed ngl
@@DemetriosLevi Really sad to see you dropped off the radar, I don't know what CZcams was thinking. I wish I'd known about you a year ago. Your production quality is genuinely unmatched, you don't drag every video out to 15-20 minutes, and suffice it to say the rest of fashion youtube could learn a thing or two.
Even if you never come back, I'll stick around for a while.
great tips, I also loved the soundtrack, this dude managed to make a hair tutorial video to sound like a Quentin Tarantino movie
omg your hair is GORGEOUS
Your content is amazing, I just discovered your channel and I'm speechless, such quality
definitely needs more appreciation, It will be fun a style analysis of Barney Stinson from How I met Your Mother, even tho he basically wears suits everyday, keep up the good work!
As a Russian Puerto Rican with the same similar hair as you. Thanks for the product ideas. Finally compared to others I’ve watched. 😂
Thank you bro! I need all the help I can get!
Your video quality is on point men!
do you have any kind of undercut for this. I would like to achieve this style for myself but I want to get the right cut
This needs way more views!
So, about this layer technique, i have seem some videos saying that it actually reduce the weight of the hair. It maybes creates the opposite on curly hair?
What an incredible video in so many ways! Was wondering what camera you used?
took my 3a/3b hair to a 2b/2c! It actually works!
how long?
My hair is fine and pin straight so this isn't the most useful for me, so I thought until you mentioned the hexagon shape for your, which is something I noticed but couldnt quite put my figure on. For me I have a more square face and I want something to soften my features while still giving structure, so I'll be keeping that in my pocket, thanks.
Ps. You you really pull of both the sweeped back and the fro look
I love the editing of this video. Funny yet informative haha. Btw was that a leave-in conditioner you used or a regular conditioner you use in the shower (the white bottle)?
Bro can you make a video on detangling? I have a similar hair type and shape and I want to see how you do it.
Don't know if it's been mentioned yet, but as a 3b curly girl, I've learned that a cotton Tshirt is much better to use versus a bath towel, which can easily cause frizz. And keep it almost soaking until you begin styling/drying. Takes longer, but the smoother curls are worth it.
I wish you never stopped making videos, these are really high quality
I want to do the opposite. I have 3a hair and I wanna get tighter curls more on the 3b side and I never took care of my hair as in with extra products besides conditioner and shampoo. Any ideas?
followed all these steps minus the hood dryer as I don’t have one & it felt like there was far too much product in my hair even though I used the bare minimum. I get it weighs it down but it made my hair feel awful to touch, any advice? I feel like maybe rinsing out the conditioner & just using detangler & curl butter would be the best shout
Bro you’re a legend
Good job, I like the artistics.
What should I use as a shampoo? Cuz I heard u can't use anything of u using Cantu?
My hair is a bit less curly than you but a little more thick so would this routine still work for me?
i enjoyed this video but honestly i really love the curls all the way at the end
Was thinkin of buying one from facebook marketplace, do you think the car can be daily drived? Or is it a once every couple of days kind of car
Honestly regular "whiteboy afro" looks sick. I like the curls and how it looks.
Edit: to come back when my hair is longer.
Can you elaborate on the new triangle cut? I'm having a hard time explaining it to my barber.
Where did you get that cool looking headband you were wearing when doing the hood dry?
LOL that ending, thanks for the tips bro 🔝.
Simply can’t find that cantu thing in my country. What other options may I try?
3:22 where did you get that hair hoop from? i rly want it it looks cool
Hey man, love your vids, I wanted to ask a question, I have hair similar to yours, but a little looser. If I were to try this method, would I also look good with a hairstyle with bangs? (that's what I usually have that's why) because I noticed that this method works well with a slick back, but in my case, would it look weird if I just did this then pushed my hair forward? Or would you do it differently?
Like I said to you before... Love the fro!
How many times do you have to do this a week ?
do you shampoo every time you add all these products?
I’m 3b/3c and this is awesome!
Your hair looks much better and fresher with its natural curl pattern, it just looks heavy and greasy now. Take care
I am gonna grow my hair out to achieve this style so coool ,bro
I have 4a hair when I wear baking soda it's 3c that doesn't work most of my hair is in the back
Can you list the products you use?
Can you tell how to explain layering to my barber because I don't think he will understand the word itself , like how should I explain it to him as a concept
can you use a diffuser to dry?
your cinematography is really cool
Your videos look better than most modern Hollywood movies
Love your videos❗️😻
Hey Demetrios! Will we ever get a style icon of Dean martin?
Dean was very stylish
Great video thank you!
your curl type is extremely similar to mine. imma give this a go.
This was funny. Looks good either way. Thanks for sharing
how do i do the exact opposite if i want to tighten my curlssss someone help pleasee
Can I use other cream?
now how do u do the opposite. i want my curls to be tighter
Your natural curls, without product, looks best! My curls are similar to yours, except I have fine hair. Mine is also low porosity, so it takes forever to dry, so I can relate. My hair is also sandy brown, with a golden tint, and hair line. I wish I had darker brown hair, or even black hair at times, so it would look fuller. 😢 My hair is also very soft, and shiny, but I feel like it would show the shining way better if my hair was very dark! Great video though. Subscribed. 🎉❤😊
How do you reverse this process
How does it work if I wear my hair to the front?
Im trying to find a good haircut/hairstyle. i have curly hair, maybe about 3a, i have an afro for about a yr now. have any more tips. also i think in another video, u said the pedro bottles last u a year... howww. its only 8oz
Anyone know what camera bro is using?
bro can you make a style analysis video on john dillinger from public enemy.
Holy shit this video is a banger, finally something that could help me out.
Lookin good Demetrios.
analyze suits in the movie Constantine! some interesting fashion there…love ur channel!
Are you considering a return to sartorial/Classic menswear videos etc as before ? Loved your Reviews and mini documentary style videos on the history of different styles.
What if i dont have that dryer thing
hey how long have you been growing your hair out to get this length? we have the exact same hairstyle. i am half italian and half black and ive been growing my hair out for about 5 month now and THIS is exaclty how i want to style my hair! great video btw keep it up
Ay, paisano!
Dang man, that's quick! It took about a year and a half to get it to this point in the vid since I began growing it out from a buzzed length on the sides and back.
Thank you for the kind words, brother! Rock that hair!
Do you go to a barber or hair salon? Also my not sure what I should tell my barber when getting a cut
Amazing vid 🔥🔥🔥
Yo, papa bless you my dude 🙏🙏🙏
Does this work with 4 inches long hair?
Can these curls be on black men
Thank you .
Dam makes me wish I had curly hair just to try this, however I might pick up that anti-friz product because God knows I could use it. Great video like always my man you're the best!
Does it work on 4a hair?
@@ccu881 I'm going to be completely honest, I have no idea what you just asked me
i too have a natural white boy afro, wouldn’t totally consider it at afro because i have an undercut but close enough
How long is ur hair in this vid
@DemetriosLevi looking forward to you coming back. If its a time crunch make audio only podcasts. It will free you up to be even more creative.
