The experts on hair usually bald or just have really basic/bad haircut..like this guy. So he's legit

dont aim for barbers who have the best haircut themselves cuz then theres someone better
I think his hairs thinning and he’s trying to salvage it
Coach never plays!
I used to have straight hair with an ugly and flat combover and I was forced to get that hairstyle for most of my life until recently I decided to grow my hair out. It was the best decision I made and I had the middle part flow hairstyle that was slightly curly for a while and I lost track of how many compliments I got from it but eventually I got bored of the flow and I just trimmed the back and sides and I currently have the fringe and I absolutely love it. I still miss the flow but I’m thinking I’ll bring it back in the spring or summer. I’m so glad I decided to grow my hair
How did you get the flow with straight hair?
@@riju5391 I only shampoo like once every few weeks and also invested in some good curly hair products. It’s crazy what growing your hair out can do, cause you never know what your hair is capable of. A year ago, I would’ve never imagined that I could get my hair to what it’s currently at
@@supremelion6574 nah bro I grew my straight hair and it looks like shit. Any hairstyle suggestions for straight hair would be highly appreciated mate. Have a good day.
@@riju5391 damn bro I’m sorry to hear that. Try sea salt spray or try and get a perm. I just got lucky to have good hair. Perms are a last resort but can be helpful. Consider trimming your hair as well but not too much. Hope you have a good day and I wish you the best of luck with your hair goals
@@riju5391 Im thinking you can get a quiff or a hard part, I also have striaght hair and I am planning to get one of those
This is a guy that is really dedicated to his craft and you can tell it from they way he talks. I have learnt alot and a big thank you to andrew and the team that produced this absolute banger of a vid!
16:30 : For anyone with curly/freezy hair, he is right. I started embracing the curls couple years ago. it's been a long road but now I have finally found how to wear them in a way I like. I highly recommend the r/curlyhair guide. It's a gold mine.
Here are the key points :
- Apply curl cream and curl gel when you're hair are dripping wet and scrunch your hair THEN pat them dry.
- Use conditioner and try to do no or low shampoo, basically use conditioner once as shampoo and then as conditioner.
- Don't touch your hair when they're drying. Once they're dry, break the gel crust with your hand full of hair oil.
Can I have your instagram? I have some questions about what products you use..
Best advice on curly hair - by far! Thanks for this :)
Same. I have semi curly / wavy hair (more curly than wavy) but some parts of my hair dont curl like the front and is frizzy in general. I dont use any product and just pat dry. Im also balding and afraid that plays a role. Any tips to have it all curl, not frizz up, and have it appear or become thicker/fuller ??? (welcomed from anyone)@@moncefbender2806
And what if you are black? 😐
@@neptune1525There is probably a tutorial for that to but since white and black peoples curls are much different it can variate pretty strong I assume
This was absolutely the best video educating on men’s hair. I loved every single tip and even found #2 to be the most relatable. For all of my teenage years, I always did the mid-fade sides with a short-medium top. It is totally true that with an undercut fade, it’s pretty high maintenance that needs a cut every 2-3 weeks. Since the last 8 months (in my younger 20s), I’ve been embracing longer hair by first doing a modern mullet where it’s longer top and back with short sides. Now I totally want to grow an 80s George Michael hairstyle and embrace that “flow” look. I have the length for the top and back, now to enjoy the process of growing the sides until it reaches a point where it’ll flow back which will probably take a couple months. I’ve definitely been interested in hair care the past few weeks and this video was easily the most informative and helpful. Thanks a ton!
Same here i have a mid drop fade with texture, and in the future probably going to grow a surfer curtains
Dude wow
Man knows his stuff 🫡

Hands down the best men's hair video on youtube. Thanks for keeping it real.

Really good video, it absolutly didnt feel like 20 mins. A masterclass in hair
I'm definitely in the phase of longer more clean business like flow hairstyle now in my late 20s after getting fades most of my life where I have to get a haircut almost 2x per month which definitely adds up especially with the prices of haircuts these days almost creeping up. Now I can experiment in crafting and styling my hair more to fit a more grown professional look and only having to go to the barber maybe every 2-3 months for a quick clean up so it's not too unkempt.
Lately I've been looking for ways to improve my hair, body health and I'm really glad I found such a nice video in such a good timing. Thanks for precious knowledge! 😊
i have watched many videos on hair and know a plenty lot but this guy is so much informative. great video

I love this video. I’ll take note of these tips on my next haircut (I just had one few hours ago 😅).
amazing video, thank you! ✨
14:35 Yeah, you just have to try it, but if you do, and it does work - it really does do miracles. I've always had terrible issues with dandruff, but after I stopped using shampoo when washing my hair, all of them went away. It just works, no dandruff anymore.
About other products though, I just use some hairstyling gel after I wash my hair to make it _stay_ puffy. I can get my hair to be puffy with just a blow-drier, but if I don't use a gel, then it will lay back down as the day goes by.
absolutely good
i immediately thought about the "get a short haircut for men and decide from there" before clicking on this video so i got really surprised
thanks!
One thing people may want to keep in mind which I don’t hear many people talk about is shower times. Showers can be much simpler and shorter with short hair
My hair is extremely straight but I’m growing it out rn because I want that long “flow look”… it looks super awkward but it will all be worth it in the end.
Incredibly knowledgeable!
Motion design for this video is incredible.
I had like 4 or 5 guys that asked me what haircut I do, and honestly i have no idea, I go to the same barber for more than 10 years, and every time i asked to do something a little different from the previous cut , always changing something, testing it out, letting it grow for 1 month, some times 4 months, and I think i know my hair pretty well now and what types of haircut suits me, as my barber knows too, everytime I ask something he does it perfectly, and even adjust some stuff I didnt know
I have listened to a lot of these influencers on yt and after a while I gave up on the blow dryer but after listening to this guy I think I’m going to give it a second chance and trust his 20 years of experience
Man the last video every person needs to get their hairstyle and I got my answer of the toughest questions about hairstyle here
i got absolutely screwed over yesterday with my hair and this comes today man. Bad and good timing
13:13 My aunt used to wear a visor every day, and it got to a point where you could see the line. It definitely does affect your hair, or it could just be a personal hair thing.

Noice! Yea im a big hair guy. I wanted to try so many different hairstyles but limited too due to my head shape ahaha. Im a big fan of hairdrying and finding that right brand and product(s) for styling. So glad I found a barber that actually listens. Had my top trimmed and tapper everything else, wna try and grow my top. GReat viD!
He guides others to a treasure he cannot possess.

Thank you so much bro, I have to go for a haircut in like 30min-1hour and I really needed this. Thanks again brotha. 🔥🙏
Let us know how it goes
@@suyincx7294Will do.
How did it go
@@plex1. Went pretty good, I was going for a messy fringe type cut, but the barber gave me a mix of messy fringe and messy quiff, not that I complain. It looks good on me when I give it a rub to make it look messy. It can also be combed to give a neat look. So, it's kind of the cut I've wanted. It's easily last me 1.5-2 weeks. 8.5/10 cut.
Another phenomonal video by by man.
Andrew is the GOAT, this man understands hair
Fantastic advice
if you have recending hair, use a derma stamp (or derma roller) and use rose mary oil or other oils that will help you with hair growth
(look it up on how you use derma stamp)
I think this is almost all that you need to know before cutting your hair, this video is quite good ,is very important to see it,to use your hair style ,not just one that you feel good with but one that you feel confortable and unique ,thats what i look up to when i choose my haircut or even when i create one wich for me create its even better,to be unique, original.
Perfect video at the perfect time
Very informative video, Thank you so much.

@neptune1525 and only mens cuts too
Because your hair all behaves exactly the same way, you don't need advice or for it to be cut a certain way to look good.
@@GuyInAHotdogSuit69 "behaves the exact same way"
Brother don't spill bullshit when you have no idea.
Black hair is very diverse and extremely difficult to maintain

For those wondering about losing their hair (including Andrew who comments that he's receding), hair loss is a fixable problem in the far FAR majority of cases.
If you are experiencing any kind of hair loss like receding, thinning or just having your hands full every time you run your hands through it then you are not alone. The key in this is to act as soon as possible because the further it progresses the harder it is to regain that ground.
Fixing this consists of a couple key things.
The first is finasteride, that is used to lower the DHT in your body. DHT is the very thing that is very important when you are growing, but doesn't do much when you are fully grown. But if you are sensitive to DHT then it will attack your hair follicles and cause it to fall out. By taking finasteride every day, you ensure that DHT can no longer do damage to your hair. The typical dose is 1mg per day, but can also be reduced to .5 or .25 per day while still being quite effective. The goal is to at least be stable, but some users also report regrowth from using it.
The second is dutasteride. That is basically finasteride but way stronger. While it is more potent, the half-life period is also way longer. This is for when finasteride does not do enough for you. But also harder to come by in a lot of countries.
The third is minoxidil. While scientists still don't exactly know how it works, it can lead to a lot more hair growth than finasteride or dutasteride can. The problem is that any gains from minoxidil use is tied, which means that it will only grow or stay for as long as you use it. It also is not a substitute for fin/dut because the inner workings are very different. You should use at least fin while using minoxidil.
The fourth is microneedling. While not being very effective by itself, it can be quite powerful when combined with topical minoxidil. Be aware that it does pose some risk, hence why it is not recommended to only microneedle without using minoxidil.
If I read my own comment around 5 years earlier I would have way better hair right now. But now I have been on fin for around 1,5 years and also had my hair transplant just two months ago. If you have the option to act now, please do it and thank me later.
Thank u so much brooo

Such a great video
Idk what to do with my hair anymore, I just do a comb over, it’s not thinning but just naturally thin since I was a kid and blows in the wind easily without product lmao. Kind of want to get a buzzcut and stick to it because my head shape isn’t bad.
Great, video got posted right AFTER my haircut

"$100 haircuts every 2 weeks", that's the most 1st world thing I've ever heard man XD
I have straight hair but when I look at myself in the mirror I notice that the sides look really bad (Looking to the front) they look as if they were growing everywhere (like a porcupine) What can I do to change that?
I have a haircut later today... perfect timing!
I truly have not used shampoo in over 3 months........ I condition it ever 2 or 3 days and honestly there's no smell or dandruff ect. Everyone is shocked when i tell them that, but it trult has made my hair look 20x better and removed the frizziness i used to fight when i started growing it out. Dont know if i will forever keep this habit, but its been going pretty well for the past yearish now
Thank god. I was gonna get a cut tmr 🔥
You're really discussing something I was always looking for ❤❤ keep up the good work 👏🏻
Crazy good video!
a 20yo woman here....just got a wolf cut, I have wavy and very thick and voluminous hair, the hairdresser straightened my hair after getting a wolf cut and it looked EXACTLY as I wanted it to look. 3 days later I oil and then shampoo wash my hair (+conditioner) and I SO INSTANTLY REGRETTED...I look like a 13 yo school boy but after listening to this man I got so much motivation to fix it...my hair became thicker and wavy after wash, so the style I was looking for has completely gone...but now I am very excited and confident to explore more of what suits my hair and what doesn't....this video was an absolute lifesaver even for a woman like me who doesn't like to use 100 products on the hair and neither has the time or energy to blow dry or straighten it everyday😅
On the no shampoo thing, I’ve been using only Castile soap for years to wash my hair. Maybe it’s not for everyone but my hair and scalp has been super nice and healthy. I use one soap to do everything and my wife hates it.
every guy wants a guy like him in life
Bro never disappoint us
Bro makes the best videos :)
Been over a year since I got my haircut, I just don’t know what to do with it but I know that it’s coming off for the summer 🥵
Useful information
I have real thick curly hair and I shampoo 1 a week and works great with my hair but that’s just mine. Side note if you want to not wash your hair with shampoo be careful using hair gels and hair spray.
I found that shampooing only once or twice a week works best for me. I have straight, black, coarse, slightly oily hair for context :)
Great video. I stopped using shampoo 2 years ago and couldn’t be happier with the results. I rinse my hair daily with warm water. I’ll condition every 2 days. And once a week I’ll do a deep scalp cleaning with Nexxus scalp scrub. Thank you for this great content.
i’m trying to grow the thickness of the top of my hair, but not the length you know what i mean? and with a taper fade all around. should i just get some of the length cut off, but dont do anything to the top? that is what i am thinking
260k+ in 6 days tells how much guys needed this
If you go for no shampoo dont wet your hair or if you wet it you can apply conditioner, now i only use shampoo once very week or when a sweat and the changes are amazing, no dandruff, no spiky hair, it doesnt smell like shampoo but it does not stink, its more manageable, its softer, for me it looks better and feels better
but if you wet it and dont apply conditioner or shampoo you will need to pass an akward phase of dandruff, itchiness and greasy hair for like 1 or 2 weeks until your hair gets used to your new method
Man, every man needs to sit with this atleast once in their lifetime
Loved the video, lesson learned. Let it flow man! Maybe trim sides just a little :)
