- Destiny 2 Season of the Wish - Solo Flawless Starcrossed Exotic Mission & Wish-Keeper Strand Exotic Bow Reward / Solo Flawless Black Garden Exotic Mission / Binary Stars triumph, Constellational Alignment Triumph, Wish Upon a Dragon Triumph. Just a quick video showing the newly added exotic mission today in Starcrossed, my first playthrough of the mission to get the exotic strand bow Wish Keeper. Details below.
My first playthrough of the mission, and got the solo flawless along the way. As such though, it's a very slow run, as I was learning where to go and not knowing what to do. Didn't take too long to figure out though, and other than the jumping puzzle it seems simple enough. I also must've been just a few seconds off the under 20 minutes triumph lol, as the whole run was around that time. If I didn't spend as long to loot the final chest or look around at the beginning, it probably would've completed that too.
I'll come back and do solo legend, the catalyst and faster clears later on too. For now I'm just getting through the weekly story.

taranis is probably the coolest mfer ever, dude granted wishes without repercussions and cherished those made them, at the very least he was spared from the hunt and was able to go out on his own terms and provided a kickass bow
He was smart, he knew that if he did that it would be much more beneficial than if he was deceitful like the others

I feel you. I'm a gamer since printers printed in pencil and 65.5 now and nothing works like it used to. My love of gaming is still there but I've had to make peace with the fact that my best gameplay is behind me.
I still grind away mindlessly in Destiny as a solo player but no way I'll ever play an active role in accomplishing higher level activities. Ah well. It was fun while it lasted.

My hat is off to you, that was impressive! I have tried it several times but I'm getting frustrated by the jumping puzzles. Maybe I'll try it again one day.
It must be wild to be able to aim in video games. I lack the ability to aim or jump even tho I've been playing since D1. So I just live vicariously through your vids until I can slop my way through the mission.
Aiming is the easy part it’s the jumping puzzles that mess me up half the time

No you dont suck,its just a pain endboss in a shitty room with tons of adds and having shields with a garbage mechanic uptop of it. Cheese it by getting uptop of the ledge entrance room and shoot things behind the blue wall.

Every ahamkara except Taranis sook out 'prey,'
Prey wanted wishes, those wishes were granted, with a very steep price. Ahamkara like riven would grant the wish, but in the most grief inducing way possible, other ahamkara asked for worldy possessions. Other prices even.
They demanded so they could feed their wish granting flame, that power in their soul, Taranis could grant wishes but must have suffered in ways others didn't because of this.
They were hunted down because like the worms, they require constant sustenance for growth, they would prey on humanity often, humans suffered and reported this to the vanguard, vanguard decided they were too dangerous in the long run and ordered the extinction of the backstabbing, monkey's paw, cost demanding ahamkara.
They did not mind their own business, hardly, they were after constant prey, Riven acts like she didn't obsessively seek prey. Taranis was the only one who didn't want to harm those who served him.

You should have gotten Supernova Sprint. You zoned in at 00:30 and finished at 20:17-20:18 of the video. Oh well.

Unlike D1, D2 counts fly-in time. It's why the mission summary timer never matches how long you actually had control til mission end. He probably missed it by a couple seconds.

If anyone has issues at the last boss,you can cheese it by the entrance of the room,jump uptop the small ledge right above the entrance facing the boss room,behind the blue shield you can shoot through it and the mobs cant hit you besides the boss's explosion attack or those small drones flying at you.Occasionally jump down for the buffs and to regain hp if you did get hit and to cast your super and make sure to use a weap like Osteo striga for the start but near the end phase when the boss moves to the end of the room switch to something like Le monarque bow. Basically,anything that does high "tick" dmg at long range. Dont overextend yourself on it just keep kiting it out like this and youl be fine.

@@dvnychvz9757 Yeah I found this boss encounter to be quite a pain doing it normally with all the add spawns,damage soaking mobs,small room,the added mechanics. It wasn't a fun experience to say the least. And cheesing it like that made it so much easier.
Eso, 1st secret chest is atvthe begining of the mission (go to min 1:07 and go left eay down) - ig you have WOMBO DETECTOR on yout ghost you can see if!

You can cheese the heck out of the final boss with Wish Ender.
Bigger cheese: the 'shield' above the door is porous to rifle, scout, bow, trace. Stand on the little ledge, drop down to the buffs as needed. Didn't try anything else but NOT going into that room with the MFer Hydra... Yeah.

Well Bungie caters to the solo sweats, and we ended up with a game that misses projections by so much that they fire the entire community department.
You shouldn't have to be a seasoned veteran with intricate knowledge of builds just to have a fighting chance at normal mode seasonal activities. It's exactly why d2 can't retain new players at all.

I died a bunch to silly shit, and since equipment isn';t locked I could swap things out if my loadout was lacking.

Exactly right. The question I have is why not a easier version and a harder version that rewards adept weapons? It seems to me that Bungie is going out of their way to alienate lower skill players like me. I have noticed a lot fewer players in the game. It is now much easier to work on bounties than it use to be. This is good for me but not for Bungie unless they don't care anymore because the game is winding down before the final shape.

@@Ezga7 it's void threat sure, but you still get 1-shot by a Cyclops or Wyvern even with 3 void resists equipped, which should never happen in any normal mode activity. So they've either disabled them or they're bugged.
No they are working fine, you are at a -5 power deficit in normal and -15 in legend however like previous exotic missions, not sure if they still have the hidden fireteam scaling modifier so enemies hit slightly harder in a fireteam than solo but regardless unless you stand in the line of fire and not move at all then yeah you will die but not in 1 shot
@@MrRudiculous73 yes, this is how it should be, but it's not. Nothing on normal mode should be able to one-shot anyone, especially with 3 void resists, handicap or not.

It’s easy w/ 3 ppl. I wasn’t even damaging the boss at all and was clearing ads. When I looked at the boss health it was already half way down and then next thing I knew it was dead

For sweats, sure. For the majority of people it will be a big headache. Less than 7% have completed a grandmaster nightfall, same for last wish raid. They also continue to bring in nerfs that makes guardians weaker. I have 1500 hours in D2 and 1822 power level, I still find a lot of content far to difficulty for an average player like myself. @@AMFX9

I did it alone. It's more in line with the DMT or Revision Zero missions. If you can't do it solo, it's a skill issue.

They are missing projections because new players see what it takes to do normal mode seasonal activities and say no thank you after 3 weeks. The story if anything is what gets the few players to stay.

I felt rewarded for exploring, a rarity in this game.
You know, I use to watch videos and think he was just a really good player but I have to call bullshit. The AoE splash is much larger in reality and I'm not seeing the 2 and sometimes 3 seekers chasing you down to lock you in a bubble. It's videos like these that drive Bungie to increase the difficulty and stretch the content like they do. Something is up with this. Why is it that the shear volume of shit being thrown at me in this mission looks Like Super Grandmaster difficulty compared to the few you are facing? My aim is as good and it appears as if my movement is even better than yours. I'm killing more than you and faster than you but THERE ARE WAY MORE ENEMIES with a MUCH greater splash range.. I call shenanaigans. I'm out.
I was getting 1-shot by a wyvern lance & a Cyclops _splash_ (not even direct hit) with 3 void resist mods, well above the recommended power level. Seeing this weird difficulty spike happening to more than 1 person, I believe there's a bug happening and it's not just sKiLl iSsUe HuRrR dUrR
