In this video I show you the entire quest of how to get the Xenophage exotic heavy weapon, from activating the quest to all steps in the quest until completion and collecting the Xenophage.
In this video I do it Solo but you don't have to you can do it with a fireteam for a quicker completion. Hope this helps you all out and Have fun with it she's a Beast. thank you for watching

I remember when this weapon became available. The whole experience was a great one, fun and puzzles followed by a challenging encounter in the dungeon (at the time of course).
Since then, ive kept this MG on hand. Its realy great for a hard hinting kill em quick weapon. A must get for sure.
I was the reverse. I found the quest annoying and tedious. Why would I want to run around with a fireball?
Sometimes I feel like Bungie was pulling dumb quest because they were running out of ideas.

This is the one time a D2 glitch helped me. On the last phase, I had a single shot at the wizard and it was dead after I barely entered the wizard's room. 🙂 This is a great exotic.

You can kill the wizard boss with witherhoard and never drop her shields.
This weapon needs a Catalyst. Bait and Switch with scorch on this would be massive!

If i did revision zero on legend solo i can do this solo as well! Thanks, never made an attempt to get this exotic back then but I'm pretty good in high-end pve content now!
Yes 100% this xenophage quest is way easier than revision zero on legend, you’ve got this 👍🏻
Tip: bring witherhoard for boss

for those of you trying to get Xenophage. you need Shadow keep DLC for the Pit of Heresy. i think. because almost every vid require of DLC
Yes that’s right you need Shadowkeep DLC and you must’ve finished the campaign to unlock the pit of heresy quest called the “Deeping Wake” once that is completed you will have unlocked the dungeon
You don’t need to do the elemental puzzle at the wizard. Just hit her with witherhoard while her shield is up and she will die with no need to run around and do all the elements.

Congrats 👏🏻 yeh that would have been really tedious if they made us do the whole dungeon for it
@@Watts.Gaming some other guides really weren't making it clear that you don't have to actually do the dungeon because the steps happen before doing the ogre. Only wish it and parasite had a catalyst 🥲
I just got to the code part and nothing working it’s not doing anything
I was the only one in my fireteam that owned this gun. It was my baby and mine alone. And now they're all trying to get it. My day is ruined
I just got it solo..
I don’t know if my game glitched out, but if you stay inside the first room where you see the wizard surrounded by thralls and shoot at the wizard (i had a solar machine gun) you dont have to do the puzzle
I only used my solar weapon and managed to kill it pretty fast

So i will need the dungeon key to do the pit step? Sorry new player i have final shape and lightfall but none of the older stuff
dungeon keys are only for lightfall, wq, and final shape. you need shadowkeep to get xeno and access to pit of heresy

I wonder if the devs fixed the wall glitch that lets you skip encounter one and doesn’t spawn the ogres and the darkness zone for the xeno boss.

Hmm may be just a bug try and return to orbit then land back on the moon and see if it works if not maybe just restart the game. Hope it works for you 👍🏻

A lot of new players here I use to do this quest to get new players in my clan but I did it so many times it got meh now

Do you need the dungeon key for it? I only have shadowkeep and nothing more
No you won’t need the dungeon key, you just need Shadowkeep DLC and you must have completed the campaign, once campaign is done speak to Eris Morn in Sanctuary on the Moon and she will give you the Deeping Wake quest complete that and you should unlock the Pit of Heresy Dungeon

When I did that sequence at the beginning with the statues, I got the box but after I opened it I didn’t get the quest.
Have you completed the Shadowkeep campaign? Do that first if not just try reloading into the moon/game again

Try and do the statues again that activate the quest, also have you completed the Shadowkeep campaign? If that doesn’t work maybe just restart the game
k1 common won’t work access code, look like someone changed new code. i can’t get get in.
There is a new update coming to destiny today maybe that’s thrown something out other than that I have no clue why it’s not working 🤔

Go to the pit of heresy dungeon on the moon right after the first encounter that’s where 7:16 in the video is taking place, hope that answers your question 👍🏻

You need to have completed the Shadowkeep campaign first, if you have already maybe just return to orbit and go back to the moon and try again 🤷🏼♂️

Last boss took only 2 rocket and 1 grenade took down.. DPS seems to be same as years ago..

Have you completed the Shadowkeep campaign and done the Deeping wake quest? They are the 2 pre requisites needed to activate the xenophage quest line 👍🏻

@@TheronShade no problem, if you have done the Shadowkeep campaign then you go to Eris morn on the moon and get the Deeping wake quest, once you’ve completed that then you can start xenophage quest

😂 I know it is painful however I was lucky not to get a single kinetic damage phase on the boss so once I kill those thralls in the video I didn’t have to use it again 😂

It’s working for most people but I have noticed a few comments like yours saying some of the codes don’t work, I don’t know what to suggest apart from restarting game/reloading into the moon 🤷🏼♂️
@Watts.Gaming no it worked. I didn't realize if you shoot the wall befor trying the code you'll never be able to get it. If anyone else says it don't work tell them to re run the sector then do the code befor trying it there self

You’ll get it done, I’m assuming you were doing it solo but if your able to, try the fireteam finder and ask if anyone will help you do the quest you might get lucky

A few months ago I put out a fireteam/help wanted on the companion app, and got a guy who helped me speed run right through it. That should be your best bet too
just use the app to make a LFG and you'll get it done in no tyme 🙂

That’s unfortunate just a bad team though not all players are like that
I really want this gun... But I absolutely hate these types of seek-n-find/go fetch puzzle quests. I'm quite a bit dyslexic. Especially when it comes to directional activities. Pair that with ADD, and you've gotta prime recipe for extreme frustration. One wrong turn can easily ger me lost... And before you know it, I'm down a controller and in possession of a flat screen with a huge spider web plastered across its screen. Bungie can take these quests and stickem' up a big fat rocket launcher! If lighting the torches weren't on a time limit, I could easily run this quest. Instead, I have to watch each lighting several times and hope I don't get lost in-between them and have to start over from the beginning. Im not gonna even attempt it. I know I will get frustrated to the point of no return. I wish Bungie and other game developers would stop making these fetch puzzle quests a thing. As much as I want Xeno, I'm gonna pass it up in favor of keeping my sanity. This doesn't change the fact that you made a great video though. I'm sure that the Guardians who enjoy these types of quests really appreciate your effort.
Could you have someone carry you through this quest? Hopefully someone in the comment section could help or try the fireteam finder and hopefully someone will want this gun to, it doesn’t have to be done solo 👍🏻

So much work for a weapon I barely use bc of ammo 😿
try ammo finder mods on your helmet (sorry if you already knew that lol) and ask your fireteam to put on heavy ammo scout mods (also on the helmet) so when they find heavy ammo bricks you do to, hope this helps

If you’ve shot the wall near the runes you’ll have to run the lost sector again
But you also must have done the Shadowkeep campaign and the Deeping wake quest which you get from eris morn after the Shadowkeep comapign

I will never own this weapon. These quest actually make me want to fight someone. Whoever came up with this quest I hope they were let go in the massive layoffs.

It is an older weapon but you’d be surprised how many people like myself just never got round to getting it or have come back/new players post Shadowkeep
