The LAW SHOULD REQUIRE: every person wanting to purchase a gun/ weapon, an approved reason on a written approval from COURT that the person should get approval from, then show the letter to the store to be able to sell such weapons. And there should be a restriction on how many cartridges of bullets are being purchased. He should never have gotten that far or be able to lay his feet on school grounds with all that weapons. Strict restrictions on entering school grounds SHOULD BE ENFORCED. Better, effective, strategic methods of disarming treats and shooters should be in place. Effective training and more relevant ‘active shooter awareness and safety escape drills’ should be conducted at every school, at least twice yearly.

Watching this again after the footage was released
the paramedics and police that had to see this crime scene and had to move all the bodies......thier true heroes and hope they mentally recover from this along with all the parents involved
You see what the police did? Nothing. They ran in to save their own children and left the others to die while telling parents they couldn’t save their kids. They stood outside the schools idling, while children were being murdered. The children and teachers proved much braver than those officers that day. Such a shame. I hope I’m wrong, but the reports I’ve seen on this are very credible
This in my opinion is the worst mass shooting in the US because of the failed repose of the authorities!! That little girl who called 911 multiple times telling them what exactly was going on and they did absolutely NOTHING! How many lives could have been saved? Absolutely wrong and pathetic! I pray for these parents to this day that they get the absolute justice they deserve!
This made better radio. I did not watch this story until late that day. I only heard it on a number of radio stations.

Honestly. School should be abolished! Because there is a way higher chance to die at school then online learning. Kids should go back to online learning for now on. But I believe if districts don’t step it up because big school districts just wants to make money. then this is just the beginning!

So we ban every single other place as well where there's a likelihood of a massacre? We could ban schools, McDonalds, churches, shopping centres, night clubs and every other concieveable place because its safer to do it at home, right?. The problem is the weapons and the people allowed to get their hands on high powered weapons which is why background checks are necessary so those who shouldn't get their hands on assault rifes can't. An 18 year old should not be allowed to get their hands on high powered assault weapons

Incompetent teachers/school administrators need to have better awareness and prioritize safety & secure door entries at all times in this country. Something so simple shouldn't be taken for granted.
As disgusting as these killers are - we should also feel sorry for them. Immediately after their death they will find out that they are being held responsible for what they did. This guy is in for a series of bitter lives to come.
