Theres other kids hiding and the shooter is going to diff rooms.. ITs a hostage situation. multi news media tell a diff story and then it gets ran through questioning the cops and yet the news are talking about diff timeline of the encounter like the shots outside was near the ditch area with 3 others that were checking on the gunman when he crashed his truck but he fired at them and other callers thought there was an exchange prior to the gunman running in. And then there was a first shootout later on inside but that was with 3 law enforcement and the gunman open rounds and cops were running out of ammo and had to wait for backup of which the other half of school was being evacuated and law enforcement is trying to figure out if theres more than one shooter in a now growing hostage situation. Parents mad outside while tact team is coming and the gunman is barricaded in and then hears a student place a call and then seems to open fire during which the tact team had to get a school staffer to open a certain door because of lockdown mode and then they have the final exchange with the gunman.

Back in my days, I worked corporate security and we had a better security protocol to neutralize a shooter and save all the employees within a building, than these buffoons in badges!
There is simply no excuse for any of those 19 officers to have not gone in, in tactical formation within the school building until they reached their target. Even if they didn’t have bullet proof vests or infrared cameras to see where the target was located, the officer in charge could have sent a group of 3 officers on all sides of the building. That would have left them with 7 officers. Then 4 officers should’ve been sent to the top of the building, while two officers stayed outside giving the parents reports and the 1 officers giving the officer in charge 9/11 reports to make any last minute tactical decisions. All these 21 souls could have been saved if these buffoons could have put in practice the oath they took, which was to serve and protect. And this is why people are fed up with police officers. This is a tragedy that could have been avoided. May they all 21 souls Rest In Peace.

No, not all of them. The few minutes after the first 2 engaged and he got into the classroom means some are dying regardless. Less would have died sure but there's no way to respond that fast unless those same 2 that got shot just kept going and forced themselves in. Nobody has said anything about how fast he killed once he got in. If he starting shooting as soon as he got in the classroom there is no such thing as a fast response for that.

He even started one interview praising their "bravery" before relaying condolences to the victims family in one of the early interview. In that interview alone, he mentioned "bravery of LE officers" 3 separate times. Those officers were "bravely" tackling, tasing, pepper spraying and handcuffing parents. A boy who was hiding under a table covered by tablecloth in a classroom with the shooter in it gave interview. He said the police instructed the children to yell "help". They couldn't be more incompetent if they tried.
