Installation went well. There were some changes between the 2015 and 2016 Road Glide. It's a positive change. The big plug that had to be removed is smaller and does not have to be remove to pull the wires through the bars. I am glad I bought the bars.

First off, Thanks for making this video! Second pictures DO NOT do these bars justice!! "WOW"...I received my bars yesterday and after unpacking them from a very large high grade box I am blown away by the quality of these bars!!! Factory 47 ... WELL DONE!!! Fit , Finish-and overall quality is beyond my expectations. The chrome finish is true SHOW QUALITY!! Are they expensive?? Yes! But you really get what you pay for!! Thank You Factory 47, you are at the top of your game!! True Made in USA Quality. And to all the do it yourselfers, Watch the video.......its as easy as they show to install on the rushmore R/G's. No cable extensions, no brake or clutch lines replaced, unless you go over the 14 inch bars. Or pay some one $350-450. To install. I checked on 2 different shops and 3-4 hours is what they quote at $90 per hr.

Excellent video @Factory 47 Cycles I recently installed my signature series bars on my 2017 RG standard and this video is 100% accurate as of how to install these bars took me maybe 1 1/2 hours with no help using all components in this video and I installed a set of Avon air cushion grips it is a very nice upgrade to the scoot and makes it very becoming and comfortable for the highway thanks for creating such a great product I saved $1000 bucks for investing in these ape hangers instead of having harley do a set of bars for me( $1500 bucks) thanks again!

ALJamaine Smith no I have the standard and no I didn’t have to extend the wires at all nor the brake lines everything was kept stock for the 14” ape hangers best product and bang for the buck if you ask me harley charges around 12-1500 bucks for an ape hanger install so with a lil time and patients u can install these in an hour or two tops and ride out in style

IT Looks like the STR Miter bars have the factory pin notch at the bottom of the bars so you don’t have to pull the factory pin in the riser. The picture on the webpage shows the clearance notch as well. Is that correct? I believe it also states that in the video to leave the pin. The bars are made to accommodate. Correct?

I've watched a few of these videos. Why doesn't anyone ever pull two pull strings in the throttle side then pull one of them out of the control location so they can pull all of the wires at the same time? I'm an electrician and it can be a pain pulling wires into a conduit that's already pulled. This is how I would do it it would avoid having wires twist around those already installed.

Yes it will I ended up buying HD wire extensions and installing heated grips. I used extended wires so I didn't alter the original wire placement. Where you see him using a needle nose pliers wasn't needed I had easy access to the screw heads with a screwdriver.

Thanks I didn't have the patience so I just went and bought them. I did have to get the wire extensions from the website, but after I put those on these bars were a breeze to install. All in all probably 4 hours from start to finish.

Alvin Gallegos that part threw me off. Is it because the original wires aren’t long enough to bend the bars giving access to the screw with a driver?
