We got our 16" Signatures bars to fit STOCK CABLES on a 2015-18 Road Glide!

- We will be making a full install video in the future. But this is 100 percent confirmed that you can use STOCK cables and throttle by wire on any 2015-17 Road Glide for 16" Signature bars! We do apologize about the sound but the fan was hitting the microphone. The only thing you will need to buy is a $35 wire kit.

I did this install last night on a 2018 Road glide special the install was just like they said with stock hydraulic lines the only thing you need is the $35 kit and reroute the hydraulics!!!!
I'm about to do the same on my 18' RG special, any tips or pointers you can think of?
Do u have to remove the lines from the break reservoir? This is the only way to slide it out of the triple tree and be able to reposition it through the middle housing then on the outside of the triple tree.
Nice y'all I'll just stick with the 14" signature bars however I will keep this in mind and let my fello Shark riders know for sure

Will this work on 2018 Road King Special? I currently have 14 inch KST Bars with stock stock cables and was looking to go up to 16 Malo bars
I’m struggling with this. How are you able to do this just by removing the gas tank? Don’t you have to remove more in order to cut all the zip ties?

Just did my 2020 Road King Special with 16 inch Meat Hooks from Dominator Cycles and I used stock cables!
@Motorcycle Riding Events of America M.R.E I went to dominator cycles and it was straight plug and play. Running the throttle by wire is a pain in the ass but that’s the hardest part

Keith Vinci yep! Jus needed the $40 wire extensions as mentioned on their website. It’s actually easier than described in their video.
@@dirtym4702 did you have to disconnect brake line from mc to re route under motor and inside of role trees? I'm about to tackle this and appreciate and head up. Thanks

How did you reroute the clutch line? Also, what did you zip tie the clutch line to after rerouting?

My brother found out a way to use his stock brake line for 18s inch bars he is able to full turn and lock all he had to do change clutch line

How did you zip tie the cable housing against the frame up at the neck? Doesn’t seem u can get behind it to run a zip tie?

I just completed this a few days ago. The cable housing felt secure, wouldn't budge so I didn't bother zip tying it.

@D.J. Zaragoza with the research I did you can only reach 14’s with stock cables so I ordered my cables but a lot are on back order so just waiting on them to come in

I can also add that if you are doing 16 inch meat hooks from dominator cycles you can use stock cables! I just did mine today!
