This build reminds me of the lego racers ferrari f1 mini’s released in about 2009, fun to see the build not having changed much!

I literally paused the video when I saw the set number. I ordered mine from Target. It was available for store pickup. I have only been into Lego since 2022 but I have all the Speed Champions sets including poly bags. This Channel has really kept me in the loop. Keep up the good work.

good to know cause i thought you had only paused the video figuratively!

I’m an absolute fan of speed champions! The price point to detail is what really gravitates me towards them. Don’t get me wrong I’m also a complete fan of the 1:8 technic cars and f1. But let’s be real 450 and 200 dollars is a lot to cough up for a set. Especially considering the time it takes to finish one. It took me 2 weeks to finish the Chiron

In Malaysia, This is GWP for 15 Apr - 21 Apr only. Need spend Min. Rm170 for City / Speed Champion / Technic Theme.

This reminds me of those exclusive Lego Ferraris from Shell. I didn't know they had speed champions polybags, they don't sell them in the Philippines.

I have this set! Afaik it's a gift with purchase as of now, although I was able to get mine from a small local lego specialized shop! Great build and goes well with the main line speed champions MCL60

I'm in Canada and I bought this set from Toys R Us for 7 CAD, and I built it without instructions a few days ago on my channel! I'm surprised I got the transparent red plate at the bottom right! 😂

I love the Speed Champions series as a whole, but there's a special place in my heart for the miniature polybag cars.
Reminds me of the "Tiny Turbos" from the now-defunct Lego Racers series. At one point, I collected almost the entirety of the products (individual cars AND the larger sets that had multiple). Alas, my enthusiasm died at some point and I ended up giving them away to my friends.
But seeing the polybags re-sparked my passion, and I have since collected all the available ones. Hopefully the polybags become popular to warrant more of them being produced (and from my understanding, I am aware that there's also a matter in brainstorming the design of the cars into the small scale. I can see it not being an easy process.).

I love the part usage of the Moon Knight batarangs as the F1’s halo. I wonder if that part from the 2nd Marvel CMF wave being available is why they picked this car for the polybag set.

Really nice build and comparison! My favorite is still the Aston Martin Valkyrie. I got most of the polybags from Jbspielwaren. Others from bricklink.

I started to collect all the Speed Champions sets when they introduced the 8 stud versions, but quickly realized that it would be a bigger investment than i thought, especially when they started to release special editions like the movie cars, outside the yearly release, so i opted to collect the polybags instead.. 😅
I try to get 2 of each, to build one and keep one in the bag. Haven't seen this one yet though.

I swapped the orange sidepod elements on mine as the way the 2023 cars look the sidepod has a huge undercut so swapping them made it look more like the actual car.

I got one from eBay and another from Germany via Bricklink (I am in the UK) as my nearest lego store didn't have them (at the time - early April). I have added a single round stud to lift the helmet x1 layer up and also added a single 1x1 smooth tile on the top before the rear spoiler / fin.

I have it and I must say it looks nice, but the biggest flaw are the wheels. I replaced them with old 2010s style of thick wheels (the ones in ferrari small scale Racers sets) and it looks much more realistic. Would recommend anyone to do this simple mod

    • @adrianlynch9435

The Batman Tumblr that came with the Lego Batman comic a few months ago has wider slick wheels on the front, however the Tumblr hubs are for a smaller stub hub so are not a simple straight swap.

polybags are super inaccessible where im from, they always become a get with purchase item with a minimum spend. i hope theyll change it soon because i cant justify buying more sets just for a polybag.

Interestingly those mclaren formula 1 cars are better than the combo set with mclaren F1. On my local marketplace there's a ton of second hand half of these sets because people bought it for the F1.
