That's some pretty good shooting, savage seems pretty consistent with precision, can't go wrong. If you feel like doing some more testing give vihtavouri n560 or n565 a try it will probably give you another 100 fps.

Yes, I would like to try it n565. My friend said he was having good results with it
If I find some, I will post results as well. Thanks for watching.

Re: Ruger Go Wild .243 Win (comments disabled) Hand load 6mm ARC with those same bullets and barrel length and I suspect you will get the same velocity with less noise, little better accuracy and less barrel wear. I enjoy the videos.

I want to do some reloads for my 6mm arc with Hornady 80gr eld vt. And thanks for watching.

Those groups look good! You could be jumping the bad base to ojive nodes. I test my lengths .002 or .003 starting about .30 off. If its a decent group, I'll load up -.003, -.006 or +.003, +.006. Then see what it all looks like. Rumor has it there in a lengrh node every .006 or so.

I'm getting between groups 2 and 3 to test that group. And thanks for watching.

Good results. Enjoy. Retumbo has served me well in my 7mm Rem Mags. It is a bit better than H1000 all around.....better velocities, SDs, groups. H1000 is very good and typically more readily available so I have used it more than Retumbo. Have you had any experience with the new StaballHD? Looking forward to trying it soon myself.

No, I haven't tried the staballhd. Retumbo was the only thing I could find at the time. I would like to try H1000 later. Thanks for watching.

@@elchupagoats956 You definitely did very well with this test. In my little experience handloading since the mid 80s, I have found that there really aren't bad powders. We all just tweek our loads to perform best in our rifles. I have 2 7mm mags. They both shoot everything really quite well. But each rifle will shoot some factory and handloads better than the other rifle. I have experienced the same with 308. You might even check out Staball 6.5. It likely will not produce the velocity of Retumbo but I worked up a very good load with my 7mm Rem Mag that is sub-moa and very low SD. It is decent velocity as well at just under 2900 with 162 ELDX. Shoot straight.
