Thanks to cog hill for showing these beautiful chickens they inspired me n my kids to get some Silkie, polish bantam hens and gold top bantam hens (Silkie x light Sussex bantam hen) we had a polish rooster who was gorgeous and my little buddy but we were forced to re-home him and our Indian runner ducks like cog's men in black 😢
You made fast work of that shelf. I love the weathered look of that wood and yes I love that you reuse what most people throw away. Really like the look of that old barn as well. Thanks for sharing your journey with us. God bless

I can't to see the different colors you get from the silliest you now have. 21 days and counting. DeeDee is just the sweetest. So happy she found her way to you. The boys are getting so big. It's almost hard to remember how sick Rocky was and how sad they were when you found them. All three have the perfect home to live, play, and feel safe at. You , Jason, MaryCarl and you mother all have such giving, loving souls. Thank you for all you all do.
Don't be ashamed of savings "stuff" to reuse. We all have a stash like that somewhere and while it may not be pretty, its always useful to have! Love you guys! ❤

Mrs Brooke, I have an upcycle of supplies stashed as well. Lattice, shelving parts, windows, various pieces of wood, gutter pieces. Can't tell you how many times I'm out in the garden that my stash has come in handy. Love your enthusiasm and information as you do projects. 😊
Brooke, you have saved a lot of money by using things in your stockpile, I have one of those also. 😄 Those silkies are so beautiful and so cute! Deedee is so adorable, walking around without a care in the world because she knows her mama is near by. ❤

The old shed is a great resource center. My Granny saved everything. I have storage bens where I save things. Over the years you will save money and alot of time going to the store to buy. Love the old barn. Good luck on the silkys. Keep us posted.

@@kathipetersen2277 , cheese is in a different area than where the silkys will be.Silkys are going in the kitchen garden area and originally planned to have a goose with them also. I am still hoping they manage to get a goose with them for their safety.

You may want to check and see a lot of cities will let you have at least 4 chickens. Just depends on what area you are in. 🐣🐥🐔

All of the home improvement and building things have given you such amazing building skills. It just amazes me.
