I am so touched every time I see Dee Dee. Dumped in her old age she found paradise and a loving family to share the time she has left with. I'm so happy for her.
Somehow, I think as much as she likes to ride. I think she was traveling with a family and got lost.
I agree, she most probably was dumped 😢. Sad, sad that mean humans do that. I have seen it done with my own eyes, years ago, and I picked up the dog. Even the police in that town didn't give one sxxt. My town's animal control took her.
Thank God Brooke took her in.

I love watching DeeDee live her best life at Cog Hill Farms and how much she loves Brooke. Her little head looks like a baby bear, she is so adorable. It will be wonderful when Nugget and the geese move to their new area. I got so tired watching Brooke move all that metal into the trailer, I have so much respect for all of Brooke and Jasons hard work. 🥰
I love that Rocky and Bandit guard you. You rescued them and they love you for it. So they guard you. Maybe they guard the animals at night when you are in the house. But if you are out, then you are their job! So sweet!!

Can't say this enough, I love all the farm babies and seeing how happy they are. Everyone, 4 legged and 2 legged, are so blessed to live on Cog Hill Farm. Watching the videos with them in it makes my lunch at work so much more enjoyable. 😊

The geese were more quiet than usual might be that you were on their level. Nugget is going to be happy with his new digs for sure and accessible to the pond.

Yes, I was so thankful when it rained here at my place last night in North Central Texas. My pasture sure did need it and got more than I thought we would.

I just can’t get over looking at DD and the boys and Halle did think that they were all in need and there’s so much better off now than what they were Halle her owner couldn’t keep her anymore. What a perfect match for Jason the two boys, you basically save the boys lives because of Pavo and beautiful little DD. I can’t believe someone had dumped her out on the street. They just didn’t wanna have to deal with putting her down or not taking care of her anymore. They’re so heartless to just leave her left somewhere, but she’s living a wonderful life all of them off, all those babies, all those baby’s are living wonderful lifes

Such a great helpmate you are Brooke to the growth of Cog Hill. The animals are so blessed with your love and care. The junk did need to go before the pasture could be closed in. Every little bit counts......like all the eggs, and the work in raising the hens and picking up the eggs and putting them in the egg cart. Your neighbors can be so proud to have you and Jason as part of their community.
When I was a kid all pillows were goose down. You would get pin feathers poking you in the ear if you pulled on them a feather came out. Feather Pillows and mattresses were a valuable item and beds and mattresses were one of many items listed in last wills and testaments of the 19th century and earlier.

It's been a real joy watching the Cog Hill 40 go from being 40 acres of land with an old barn and a lean- to that were both past their prime to what it is today and with more to come. The original Cog Hill Farm was well established when Jason started the channel. I can wait u til the day you get to bring out the flags, the bottle tree, and oil of the other fun things that made your farm such a unique and fun place. I'm loving all three channels, the shorts, and the lives. What makes me laugh and sad at the same time is I finally have started remembering to check around the right time for the Tuesday lives and because of different reasons, they haven't been on. I'm almost thinking I'm a jinx to the Tuesday lives. No, I'm just kidding. I really don't believe in that sort of thing. I will be watching this Saturday and I have to say I have enjoyed having my Saturday morning cup of either coffee, tea, or hot apple cider with you all since you started. My husband is the true hard core coffee drinker here and he really likes a dark roast coffee so now that you all have that in your line, I will be getting some for him. I'm a light weight and I drink a form of instant coffee. I drink one and sometimes 2 cups, so doctored up that you really don't taste the coffee. I add creamer and a half envelope of hot cocoa mix to my coffee. It's like a mocha cappuccino by the time I get done. I do use sugar free cocoa mix but the creamer is half and half so I do have calories in it. Love the boys, DeeDee and of course Nugget. I could have listed all the animals but it would take forever. The Cog Hill Farm is simple a great joy to watch. Have you thought of having a membership for this channel? I like the emoji that shows up on the main channel. There might be some who only watch this one and would like to help support it. Just a thought.

It's not your shoes Nugget's fascinated with....he's grooming you! If your feet were replaced with beach balls, he would groom those beach balls- get off any insects, rocks and dirt just like other emu's would do to each other. That's his love language, he's showing you how he's family.

Deedee is my kind of buddy! Mine is a 7 pound, tricolor chihuahua named Samson. No matter where I am, you will find Samson. He is actually a fully trained service/ medical alert dog. He’s saved my life several times. But I honestly feel that our relationship goes far, far beyond being a service dog. This little guy and I honestly have a relationship that goes all the way to my soul. It’s strange to say that about a dog (I’ve had many dearly loved dogs in my lifetime of 64 years). Deedee looks like she loves you in a similar way. All of these creatures truly are a blessing from God. Y’all have a blessed day!
