Wow! What a great dentist! It’s amazing to hear a dentist says he’s hear to serve the Lord! Not many doctors will say that because they get worried about what others will think. Kudos to him! I’m so glad to hear that Hadley is making so much progress!

Amen, I totally agree my Pastor is a doctor. If you come see him, you will see both Pastor and doctor he will tell you he is who he is because of God.

I have learning disabilities and have raised several special needs children. You and your wife had discussed Hadly's issues when you still lived in the old house.
It has been obvious to me that she had difficulties that were hard to pin point.
I use to be a youth shooting coach and hunting coach along with 4H, Texas youth Hunting Program, Hunter Ed, Boy Scouts. I was so proud of her for making her 1,000 yard shot and her one shot Elk.
Young lady We all have our problems, life is hard. Trust in the Lord, Work hard, do your best and you will be fine. There is a grey headed old FART in the Texas Panhandle that is proud of you!!! (and your sisters)

My grand daughter went to the orthodontist to get braces about a year ago. They told her that she is going to have surgery to fix her jaw!! Seems she was born with it! So before she turns 21, she will be going to Shriner’s hospital in Chicago to has this surgery. Hadley, you’re a rockstar!!

My grandson has nonverbal autism and is 15 years old now. His teeth were horrible when his Permanente came in. He was a real trooper going through getting braces. Is still wearing them and is so proud of them, he gives everyone a great big smile when you ask to see his braces! His teeth are beautifully straight and they will be coming off soon. His smile is amazing!!!

My parents never did anything about my teeth when I was a kid , and as of today I hid in embarrassment because of my teeth. With all the modern dentistry practices out there now I wish they would have been there in my younger years, Hadley your in great hands with your Dentist that really cares about your health. Trust him and he will help you.

@@judyc9380 “short of air”. I have a medical background and dyspnea is sometimes called SOA in notes. It can be caused by many factors like the doctor explained, anxiety among the factors. That doctor has all that well under control. I didn’t mean to cause a stir.

I am a registered dental hygienist in WA state. This is so right on and many do not know or believe that there are problems. I was lucky to work with a DDS that worked this way. He also did orthodontics using the myofunctional approach. He retired before my kids became of age for orthodontics. But we found a college classmate that also practiced this way. I was so happy to have the knowledge so I could ask the proper questions. I didn’t want any teeth extracted and was able to ID breathing problems. Serving the Lord is #1. That tongue is a very strong muscle. Rock On.

Hadlee is beautiful, and what a blessing to find a Dr/dentist/orthodontist, a man of GOD that serves the LORD.
Hadley is growing up to be a very beautiful young lady and hopefully Dr. Lim can continue to help her as she gets older.
I was a Public Health Nurse that worked with young women who were pregnant and on drugs. I had a great record getting these girls off drugs and following them for at least 2 years. I had one Client who did really well but noted her child was having difficulty drinking and communicating. I checked his tongue and noted he had a strip connected to his tongue. Got him in to see his Dr. and found he was “Tongue tied”. This was cut and he progresses well. The mother eventually moved on and I was sent a card with her saying “Thank you for saving my life and seeing that my son had an issue that, bought early, was a blessing.” 30 years later, I still have that card. Luckily I had enough knowledge as a Nurse to recognize there was a problem. I am blessed knowing this child will grow without any mouth and verbal issues. God bless you Hayley. Wow! Praise God! I wish i woulda had you, 5 yrs ago, when I was pregnant with my 3rd daughter...i ended up being tricked/forced into giving her up 4 adoption. I fought 4 my baby, i wanted to be able to raise her myself, but i just needed a little time 2 find somewhere else 2 live, as me & my ex were having 2 move out of his cousins house where we had been renting a room in, & the whole thing was VERY traumatic 4 me. I now no longer trust doctors, or anyone except God, because ive literally had everyone in my life turn their backs on me, except 4 my older brothers & my friend Andrew's parents, who took me in when him & i started dating junior yr of hs ❤

Hadley, you may not know what a difference this Dr. Is doing for you. When I was 12yrs old, my dentist found that I had what they called "thrusting." I had to keep little tiny rubber bands on the tip of my tongue and put the tip to the roof of my pallette. It was a slow process, but I did it. I'm now 68 yrs old, and to this day, I continue consciously putting my tongue to the roof of my mouth. I'm so proud of you, Hadley, for sharing with us.
I cannot thank you enough for showing this video and giving this information. I am currently 70 years old and for years I have had muscle spasms of the jaw that cause a great deal of pain and headaches. I have been diagnosed with bilateral degenerative disease of the TMJ's but no treatment has ever been offered. I am so excited to see if I can be helped and finally feel better without headaches, neck pain, muscle spasms lack of sleep etc.
You are certainly a blessing.

Hadley, you're an absolute rock star for sharing your story. I had brittle teeth growing up. Spent a LOT of money over the years trying to save them. When I was 43, I finally gave up and got false teeth. We can't control how we look or how our teeth end up, but we can sure try our hardest to fix them! Not for anyone else but ourselves! You're turning into a beautiful young lady!
Same. My mom got hers at 18, so I was already doomed. It was hard but worth it! Big big plus, I can eat as much candy as I want! Cheers!
@@t.johnson2966 Yep, there comes a time when you question why you keep throwing money at them. In one year I spent about 10 grand at them. The false teeth, I didn't go top end but didn't go bottom of the barrel, cost me $6500, including the tooth removal!

As a father, it’s been vital to break the old ways and get out of our own way. Hewing what is happening for our children and getting things they need to grow up is tough. My daughter turns 16 today which is a milestone birthday here in Cornwall. Things like teeth or hair, anything that impacts the vision they see in the mirror can be hard. Proper job for not only listening but acting on what they need. Be very proud, she was able to speak up and be heard. My teeth were an issue for me, now with good dentist sorted and I’m 47! Smile my ansum, your dad and mum have your back!

I get very irritated, because I always hear how dental health is vital to overall health, yet dental insurance is an add on to the medical insurance that not everyone can afford. I was a somewhat sickly child, and have bronchitis on a regular basis, I have had and gone through the hell of cancer and its treatment and severe depression, osteoporosis and most recently, in my 60s I started having seizures. After going through CT scans, MRIs, EEG and EKG and I can't even remember what else, there is "nothing wrong in/with my brain" to cause seizures yet no time was wasted to put me on anti seizure medication. I feel like a walking pharmacy. I could go on, but no one wants to hear my life history so I will stop my rant. Love your channel!!!

Seizures can be brought on by some chemicals that are in something that you use or consume. Like in candles, lotion, deodorant etch, etc

My eldest son had to wear headgear for 2 years to move his jawline back then braces for 3 years. Now he has a beautiful smile. My youngest had to wear bands to move teeth around then full braces. It all started at 9 yrs old. All three grandkids braces too
My son has TMJ and teeth problems. I can't travel but that Doctor seems like he knows what he is doing. I never knew Hadley had jaw/mouth problems. Thank you for sharing. I live in Georgia.

My daughter was tongue tied when she was born but not bad enough to snip the underside. Her biggest problem was that her eye tooth was fused to the roof of her mouth, so after removing her eye tooth and bone graphting they put in an implant to take up that space. She had braces from age 11 to age 16 and now has a beautiful smile. Way to go Hadley! You are already beautiful on the inside and out! I know it's all been a struggle to fix things but just know that when it's done it's going to be amazing!!
Your girls are amazing and going to do so well in life . Your wife is a professional healthcare nurse and works so hard on your farm and you are a caring Dad and constantly working to improve your home , animal care and your other property . I wish I had half your energy . I grew up in a very negative and destructive home . I was determined my family would be different and it is . My son and his wife are college graduates and have very good jobs and just bought a beautiful home in Bixby . My granddaughter is very smart , happy and cute as can be . I believe you can change families and not carry on the negative things of the past . I hope all your girls have a wonderful Christian life and with your wife and you ...I'm sure they will . PK
When I was a child I HATED going to the dentist. I was born with little to no enamel on my baby teeth. The dentist was positive that my mom had a fever during pregnancy, but that was never confirmed. During my teenage age years I had 12 teeth pulled before having braces for 7 years to correct them. I had one adult tooth grow out underneath my toung which is now one of my front teeth. Two of my wisdom teeth are now my adult molars. My dad has large teeth, my mom has a small jaw. Guess which combination I was blessed with. To this day I struggle to breath through my nose. I just cant get enough air flow through my nasal passages. I feel that having a doctor with such knowledge and insight as Dr. Heng Lim. has 35 years ago would have greatly improved my life today. Thank you Keeping It Dutch and especially Hadley for sharing this episode. What you see on the outside has nothing to do with what is going on inside. Don't judge a book by it's cover.
