Thanks for sharing. I’m visiting in December.
Wow! That part of the video when you quote Tomas Eloy Martinez in English is kind of surrealist! To be honest, I've been a very few times to La Boca in my whole life: as a student on a school day out, as a guide of my mum's Italian friends and as a visitor of an interesting art museum, Fundación Proa. The reason to avoid it is the bad fame the area has, which I'm not sure if it's justified or not, but it certainly counts to me. Yes, La Boca is picturesque, colourful and tacky! It attracts tourists like flowers to bees, but the locals like me, are not regular visitors. I wouldn't advise anyone to get far away from the tourist hive, though. Anyway, caution is always a must, whether in La Boca, San Telmo, Palermo or Recoleta. It makes a lot of sense to put away your high tech devices and act wise.
That totally makes sense - it’s always like that isn’t it, some famous parts of town are so overrun by tourists that locals don’t really visit anymore. I definitely feel that in London where I live(d) ☺️ I’m so glad you enjoyed the Tomas Eloy Martinez quote, it’s my favourite part of the whole video!!

cool channel, subscribed!
Can I give you a recommendation? Pleaseee?
Check out the Recoleta cemetery. I know, a cementery out of all things? Y E S. it's such a gorgeous place with a lot of history and beauty!
Another recommendation, El tigre! Another gorgeous place, there are some similar vibes as La boca, but it's more nature driven and you can explore the Paraná delta which is a webbed system of rivers and it's sooo gorgeous!
Hi Girl...I just watched your video of the German town in Argentina and now this one. I'm Argentinian from Cordoba city but I grew up in Sydney Australia, but currently living in Brisbane. As I said, I was born in Cordoba but I'm also a fan of Boca Juniors. Question, you speak a few languages and I just read a reply you made in Spanish. You sounded perfect in your pronunciations. Do you have any hispanic background? Anyway I'm enjoying your videos and that of other Vloggers due to having a background in broadcasting, that I'm thinking of doing my own podcast..we'll see. Anyway good luck in your travels.
I'd love to move my family to Argentina. Looks so awesome there 😍
Nice video
Definitely an interetsing place, we really liked it. But at the same time it was super loud and crowded so got to be picky with timings if you don't like too crowded places.
Nice video, cheers
Thank you!!

Welcome! Hope u enjoy our conutry 🇦🇷🩵🤍🩵
Tenés que tener cuidado en algunos lugares de La Boca, no alejarse del circuito turístico, sinó te pueden robar el celular o la cámara. Suerte 🍀
Gracias! Tengo mucho cuidado en mis viajes 🥰
Do you know the name of the last Milonga?

I hope that all the dreams of the people of Argentina and yours can become true in the Country, everybody in the end want their Country to end well; I can only say that I hope that you, Argentinians like me and other people like us with some broken dreams can find prosperity here.
I hope so too! 🙏🥹❤️
❤❤❤😍😍😍😍
You re very pretty😂
You are beautiful ❤❤❤😍😍😍🤩
it is interesting how tango got banned after WW2 and not before
Because Argentina had almost no involvement in WW2, but after that war Argentina suffered a dictatorship for a few years.
@@Neyenn but it was an american backed dictatorship
@@hr-g4640 oh yeah 100%, search up "Plan Condor"
@@hr-g4640the thing is, that several countries in South America suffered the same, and that was transformed a lot during those ages in our culture, for example the National Rock in Argentina, same happened to Chile.
Until this day you can hear crazy dark things bout that dictatorship, someone wrote a book, it's called "los vuelos de los muertos" tells how they kidnapped people and taken to a plane then let them fly in the air... The worst part? Some of them woked up before being drag down in the sky... really creepy shit.
And real. Not fiction.
@@nicozeta3 why are american so racist? is it the cultural influence jews have on them?
Ho iniziato a fare ricerca per poter comprare casa a laboca .

Hablando de la zona Boca, Boca Juniors ⚽️ (CABJ). Diego Maradona quiere mucho este club. ¡¡“La 12” es muy entusiasta fans!!
¡¡Vamos Xeneizes!!
Ahora Argentina 🇦🇷 está el invierno 🥶 como el infierno. ¡¡Mi favorita estación es el verano!!
Your a Absolute Beauty a Perfect 10 anyways tho are you from the Carribean
I’ve heard a lot of people say that La Boca is dangerous off the beaten path and at night. Did you find that to be true? Are MS13 and Mara18 operating there? I lived in Honduras for a while and found that the state department release and many people’s warnings were greatly exaggerated. I did see aimless tourists get robbed when strolling aimlessly in bad neighborhoods, so I’m glad to follow any realistic advice. No big cameras, safari wear or stacks of cash here.
LOL what???
Lots of people told me the area is very dangerous. I didn’t feel in danger at all when walking around, I hid all my valuables etc. But I was only there for a short period of time so don’t want to make any sweeping judgments 🤷♀️ I will say though that I’ve often found people’s warnings greatly exaggerated, just as you say ☺️ With that said, I wouldn’t advise a walk around the area to tourists as I’m just not sure!
@@girlvsglobe you are amazing!! What a life spirit ( i don't know if a am saying well) my english is not too good. La Boca, like others neighborhood in diferents city has dangerous places al night. But during the day is ok. Of course is not Chelsea or Recoleta, but is ok

The neighborhood of La Boca, the most picturesque in Buenos Aires, one of the safest neighborhoods, where "La Bombonera" is located. The Temple of World Soccer, the Gran BOCA stadium, THE ONLY BIG one, the others are from the B
Excuse me, but I wouldn't call La Boca one of the safest neighborhoods! That'd be Puerto Madero, Recoleta, Belgrano, Palermo (that's my list in my experience, but La Boca is widely known that outside of the tourist area it's really unsafe and unadvised to wander around).
La buca is beautiful place.
It really is 🥹
dangerous place
No conoces nada de la Boca verdad, pq no sabes nada. Hace terapia, quizas mejore tu paranoia
