    In today's review I'll be showing you this 2010 Chevy Avalanche LTZ that I found at a local used car dealership. 2010 was just 3 years before Chevy decided to stop production on this vehicle. Share with us your opinion of this vehicle and did you ever purchase one of these or still drive one today!?!

    Vehicles filmed at Dealerships are For Sale. Make sure to visit the dealerships website for detail info about each vehicle. If your watching a video thats older than 90 days you can expect that vehicle to most likely already being sold, unless its a new car.
    FYI - Charleston Car Videos on CZcams Started in 2011. Back in 2008 is when I started filming cars as a car salesman to give people a better way to see a new or used vehicle. Over the years I ended up selling over 450 vehicles from doing videos. Today 1000's of vehicles have sold from people watching my car reviews in America.

    I spent 24 months of my career on the design, development, and launch...(just electrical and lighting though) it pains me so much that folks in a sales position do not communicate the midgate function and configurations. Such an awesome feature set and very valuable for a targeted audience.

    I love my 2010 Avalanche LTZ. FYI, The back window does come out and the back wall folds down so you have an 8 foot bed. This guy did an ok job at presenting this awesome truck. He should have done a little research on the Avalanche. He left out a ton of stuff.

    Like many others have said, doing a little research prior to reviewing, is the way to go. I have a 2011 LTZ and it is the best vehicle I have owned. Mine has the factory tow package which includes the trailer brake controls on the bottom left side of the steering wheel on the dash. The pedals are also adjustable. The exhaust is stainless steel. I highly recommend this type of vehicle...and being in Canada, the seat warmers are awesome in the winter. Overall, you have great energy and your presentation is really good.😎

    The fold the rear seat bottom up, fold the upper part down. The back panel (mid gate) has a knob you turn to release it. THat turns the short bed into a long bed. You can also remove the rear window and pull an ATV up in there. Check it out

      I drive an Avalanche, a 2005 to be exact. It's an amazing truck and will never fail you. It can act as a SUV or a full bed truck if you need it, and it is ultra reliable and will never fail you. The best advice I can give you is that if you have the garage space and the gas money, you should get one.

  • @joshuanorman6330
    @joshuanorman6330 Před 4 lety +6

    You only left out the most important part of what makes an Avalanche...an Avalanche. The midgate. 5 ft bed is now an 8ft bed! Check out all the options beforehand. Good review otherwise.

  • @ScarabChris

    I had a 2007 Avalanche LTZ and now I have the Cadillac Escalade EXT (2008). The Avalanche and Escalade EXT are the longer wheelbase and based off the Suburban/Yukon XL. The Tahoe is a shorter wheelbase. The bed covers do come off in 3 pieces and it's very quick and easy, the rear window is removable but does not roll down, it gets stored in the mid gate which also folds down to open the bed into the cab. My Avalanche had the 5.3 and was rear wheel drive. The one in the video is a 4 wheel drive so it may have the 6.2 liter. I could be wrong but I think the 4 wheel drives came with the 6.2 from 2007 on. The older ones with 4 wheel drive had a 6.0. My 2008 Escalade EXT has the 6.2 and full time 4 wheel drive. There is no transfer case selector like in the Avalanche which is the big knob to the right of the head light knob. And dude those tires are shot! Other than that this Avalanche is in great shape.

    @kennethsunderland6676 Před 5 lety +1

    I had a 2008 LTZ Avalanche and loved the truck. It was really nice. The 5.3 is a good engine but they do have an oil consumption issue. They all use at least a quart of oil between changes. People do love them and they hold value very good. I drove mine a year and turned around and sold it to Carmax and only took about $1000.00 dollar loss. Didn't see the dash cracking on this one yet a common problem with these as with other trucks.

      The back window will pop out and the back seats will fold down to give you more cargo room and then you can put a six feet piece plywood in there.

    The avalanches do have the back windows that come down, you have to take them out manually and then the seats come down and you get more truck bed space.

    Ok it's not Like a Chevy Tahoe it is a Suburban with a bed and no 3rd row seat also it can fit most ATV's in the bed and if you open the mid gate you have a 8 foot bed hmm better then a normal truck hmm. Plus o yes plus if you like subwoofers and nooooo vibration get a avalanche.if if you want to bag it and put sick 25s on it get a avalanche.if you want to put a 6.2 in it and supercharge it unless your model has a 6.2 lucky duck get a avalanche it was the best all around truck yes truck mid gate truck

    You should’ve did your homework before video. All rear windows are held by hatchs has above the window and fits behind back seats for storage. Also the Midgate open after for the back seats forward. Turns a 5’ bed into a 8’ bed. The tonneau covers are lock by handles, which your video shows them but you were clueless. The tonneau can support a weight of 300lbs. With tonneau locked in, your luggage in your is safe as locking something inside your car. That is why it was the most versatile truck when built. 😮

    Seriously! Back window doesn't roll down...🤣😂🤣 dude it's an Avalanche! Ask me "change for a dollar" and I'll change my SUV into a truck, and drive off with your dollar! The old original commercial... the window comes out, stores in the midgate in the bed opens up to 8 ft. Yes Cadillac Escalade EXT is built on the same platform as the Avalanche. Totally agree with you about Honda, Honda makes a good product but the Ridgeline is no truck! If I wanted something that small and similar, I would go with a Subaru Baja, which also has an expanding bed. Ford "exploder" really! Yeah it's an SUV based truck but it's a truck you try making that bed any bigger without a Sawzall LOL, not even in the same ballpark of comparison.

    Brother try really learning some facts about the vehicle you're making a video about beforehand. I am a 2012 Avalanche owner and enjoy watching all the videos I can just to see if there're any features I've missed about it. Comparing this to a damn Ford Explorer Sport Trac is so ridiculous it's insulting. It's also based off of the Suburban platform not a Tahoe. Easy way to tell is the fender well doesn't interfere with your ingress into the back seat... After those two whoppers I lost interest but did take time to let you in on these two secrets... I don't know if you give a proper explanation of the mid gate later but I wasn't wanting to find out! (The window stores below in the rear wall and then you can fold down the seats completely to carry up to 4x8 sheets of plywood) It's ok if you watch other people's videos and use them as Cliff Notes to nail your presentations! ;) God Bless and try doing every video thoroughly and as if it's a personal vehicle that you have pride in. A little secret: Us Avalanche owners are very proud and know the extreme mistake GM made by not continuing and improving upon these hidden gems! Love Your intensity and wish you the best man!
