  • Meant to edit this but ran into some software issues and said "Screw it!" Anyway, here's me rambling about how it felt to transition socially before I got on hormones.

    At times I wish I realised I was trans earlier on in life. There were glaring signs ever since I was 9, and I never really realised it until now when I'm 20. Although I wasn't made aware being trans was actually a thing you could do until I was 16, but still it's been a good while since then. But then again, I'm also partly glad I didn't go through school with dysphoria because I didn't need another reason for kids to bully me.

    Informative video thank you and found it interesting as i am at 6 months in stage of Hrt M2F, at that awkward stage where my body is really starting show feminine changes though still a fair bit male features in face really trying to grow out here more or more styled at least, facial hair still nightmare, i totally agree about the mindset changes, did you find youtself doing more new "feminine things" that perhaps once you wouldnt of it or learning how the mind adjusts to doing things a bit difference sometimes i get totally confused as suddenly im doing things different to the way ive learnt since i was born, think you've really worked on your voice as sounding feminine, great video again and look forward to seeing more videos from you and all the best with everything ❤

      Thanks so much for sharing your experiences! That's a good question. I have found myself become a little bit more expressive in the way I present myself. When I was closeted, I hated the way I looked and sounded so much, that I would rarely talk and would sort of just sit in place and be quiet. Feeling more confident in my femininity has helped me learn to express myself in aspects from the way that I walk to the way I speak with people. It's really interesting to look at all the subtler differences that have come since starting HRT. Thank you for asking! I wish you the best as well

      @@boonewilliams5338 omg actually just today I decided to come out to my ex who is also a close friend of mine and it couldn't have went any better. She said how she always thought I acted feminine at times and wondered if maybe I was bi (which I am but mostly into women) I explained how I've just been doing this role that society wants me to be and she said if I want she will be there with me to tell my mom or even take her to lunch and tell her for me now keep in mind this is the first person I have come out to and honestly it's because I've been binge watching your videos and videos of other people I just knew I'd rather risk being alone and made fun of forever then keep living a lie I mean I've known I wanted this for probably over 20 years since I was a child! I know this is totally just the beginning but telling those close to me is a huge step there's alot of neighborhoods in South Jersey where it's straight up dangerous to be Trans. It felt like a huge weight off my shoulder to know I have someone on my side of course now I don't know what to do next lol because I want to completely transition all the way and hopefully look half as good as you do lol. I definitely feel anxious to get started cause it's it's LONG over due I mean years ago I would cross dress in private in hotel rooms it felt pathetic. I know that all the information in these videos definitely helped me finally take that leap cause it answered alot of questions I would have and it only further confirmed that I want a life like that. So you definitely helped at least 1 person in the world!!

You seem like you come from a great family great background I think it would be impossible to do things right without a support system that's why I was so excited to tell 1 person close to me and when she offered to help tell my mom it made me so freakin happy! I definitely wouldn't have been able to do it without watching these videos seeing how others feel exactly how I do and you can literally see how happy and natural you feel I just feel like omg I need a life like that because the life I'm living now is just constant depression. I know there are those who will fight it but It is a sad fact that it is going to happen. I am figuring it will be after I get a ways in to My electrolysis witch I have not started yet. I have had money issues recently. I will be getting that undwer way soon hopfully. I have had many people tell me even before HRT I was feminin naturally aside from the facial hair. With out any voice practice when I am upset if I call some one Exe; if I call the electric company to avoid my power being cut off luckely that hasen't happened in a couple years but they would tell me calm down mam so I know for me I should be able to achieve the voice with minimale work on there.

    • @boonewilliams5338
      @boonewilliams5338  Před 3 lety

      I am so so sorry you're going through that. Have they given you a chance to explain that blockers pose no medical risk and only serve to pause puberty? There are a lot of resources on the WPATH website that may be helpful. If you feel comfortable doing so, I would strongly encourage you to ask your parents if they would be opening to simply learning more about what blockers are and how they have helped so many people. I wish had the links on hand, but there are a lot of data on the life-saving effects as well as the safety of blockers. I obviously don't know your parents, and I don't want to assume anything about them, but I want to believe that if they can get more exposure on trans people and their experiences as well as the medical science of this, they may be willing to open their minds to this more. Whatever happens, I support you 100%, and I KNOW that things WILL get easier. It takes time, and I'm so sorry you're parents aren't offering you the support to make things easier sooner, but you will get there. I know many, many beautiful trans women who went through testosterone-based puberty and transitioned after. They live wonderful lives, have amazing friends and partners, and are able to do the things that make them happy and feel comfortable in their skin.
      I believe in you and I am rooting for you. I wish I could do more.
