You said it was a clone. To call it that given the capacity increase and various other changes is a misnomer. Improved or altered knockoff perhaps, but a clone it is not.
+Roy Rodriguez If there was no hammer, the gun wouldn't go bang. The hammer is simply internal (to make the gun snag-free, when pulling from concealment). Not a cost cutting measure.

Is it overpriced, unreliable, and full of MIM parts like their 1911's? Kimber can suck it, I still haven't forgiven them for the Solo. They need to spend less money on advertising and more on the actual guns. I swear every other page in every gun magazine is an ad for Kimber.

The K6s reminds me of a Manurhin MR 93, which is a fine French revolver.

Not sure we need more .357 revolvers, but the same gun in .45 ACP would get my attention. Very surprising that Kimber, the industry leader in 1911s, releases a revolver in something other than .45 ACP. Oh well, maybe later.

I.e., in another video of the pre-SS serie, the guest answers are drowned by a nearby conversation and I gave up after twenty seconds.
Since you can't chose the settings, and the gear is not up to the task,
you don't have a lot of alternatives apart from trashing what you've already done and reshoot the scenes. I don't want to sound like I'm dismissing your work since it's very cool input of the industry news, I only want to provide constructive criticism. I can't wait to watch your next videos.

I used to shoot a SP101 in .357 Mag. Painful, would not repeat. I do want to get a six shot pocket pistol, if the sights are good, I might load .38s for this and carry it.
BUT...we get back to why carry a revolver instead of a lighter, higher capacity auto. I like revolvers but more as a novelty than as a carry piece. Still, looks like a well-made sidearm.
+MarkAndrewEdwards Another option for you is the Ruger Speed Six. Round butt, 6 shot, fixed sights, an a little heavier than the SP101. Highly sought after because of their great balance.
idk why you would buy that when you could get a smith or ruger for the same price or less. when I heard about this gun I was hoping for something more innovative then a J frame sized revolver with a 6 round cylinder.

Just a note for all CZcamsrs, blogs, other gun-related media sites that plan on making videos about new guns/gun accessories and shooting them, could we PLEASE get some subtitles? There are so many videos where I can barely understand what people are trying to say, with the gunshots as well as the interviewers trying to talk over it.

I assume the K6 is larger than a J frame and smaller than a K frame. Looking forward to seeing a K6 up close. At $899 one would expect made in the USA + a very good fit & finish.

Made in Philippines is not an issue as Rock Island 1911s work well and are a good value for those on a tight budget. I have shot a several of them and had no issues. I prefer my S&W, Colt, Winchester, Ruger or Remington to be American made. The price point is the issue here as I am more than willing to pay more $$ for made in USA, less $$ for over seas. I will use S&W & Ruger revolvers as my price baseline. At $899 I would expect 'Made in USA'.

I have no idea how they're going to make any money off of this. It's literally any other revolver. I'm looking forward to forty years from now, when Ian McCollum's successor brings this gun out at whatever action house they're working for. I'll be the first to express my guilt about being one of the first to witness to such a blatant rip-off...
You know while at first I was not real excited (hoping for 6:00 firing position, and or break top), if street price worked out in the seven hundreds, a 640 size revolver with better sights, 6 shots, and maybe a better trigger, does have some appeal... If price ends up mid eight hundreds though...ehhh..

MSRP is not selling price, I wouldn't be at all surprised if this sold in the $700-$800 range which wouldn't be unreasonable if it is well made. If this doesn't have an internal lock it would be great. I wish they had made it with a 3" barrel since it adds a lot to .357 mag and allows for a full length ejector rod while not making concealability really all that much worse.
The more I think on this the more I like it actually. If overall quality snd the trigger is actually good, your looking at something like replacement for a Colt Magnum carry with better sights . If it's even mid high 700's retail that's about 1/3 what the colt would cost LNIB. Of course "investment" sides not going to be as good, but I don't care about that.

Sorry Kimber, but ANY barely two fingered grip on a firearm is NOT "ergonomically friendly". It is a total pain in the A _ _ and there is no legitimate reason for it. Make the gun with a grip that a man can get his hand on and then you will have a usable weapon. Especially for almost $900. Quit bending to ths meme that dictates that you have to create a worthless stubb on the back of the firearm so it is "concealable", I and most like me, conceal full size firearms every day. Take a lesson from Glock on their model 19. It is very concealable and has a grip that makes the firearm manageable, especially when taking more than one shot on a target.
