We had to show off the new Cobalt Kinetics rifles including the B.A.M.F. or "Billet Aluminum Modern Firearm." It takes a lot to blow our skirts up in the AR market but this rifle certainly has done that. Can't wait to see more from this company in the future.

i rented this thing at the range once and it wasnt a fun gun to shoot in my opinion and i also had issues w the mag

The Kobalt Kinetics B.A.M.F is probably one the highest quality, beautiful- yet functional AR platforms I have gotten my hands on to date. We had one of these come into my shop (The Alamo Range - Naples, Fl) and it seriously amazing 10/10, I just wish I had the opportunity to shoot it...
Holy crap that is a beautiful AR. Id probably dump my girlfriend for that thing... if I had a girlfriend that is.

The gun in the video is actually called the "Evolve" and it isn't for sale yet. The B.A.M.F doesn't have the C.A.R.S system where it automatically drops the mag.
I am thinking of buying the B.A.M.F Edge so thats why I am watching videos on this gun. Awesome gun in person but I haven't been able to shoot one yet since there are only two in my city and one available for purchase

man eric ive gotta give it to you, chad, ray and barry R.I.P one of the main reasons i have been watching and subscribed to your channel for years now is because of your sheer knowledge of everything guns. you guys are just all around great americans! and i would gladly fight next to you in the trenches. i actually was in vegas for a week with my wife visiting her parents they live over there. i was really exited to go to shot show for the first time and then i realized that my departure date was 1 day before shot show started : ( i was very disappointed i was really hoping to meet you guys and see all the cool stuff they got coming out this year. but hopefully im able to meet you guys some day id really like to meet you guys and put some shots downrange. keep doing what you do guys best of luck.

the weapon build itself is just phenomenal..
There is so much more to these guns than he showed that's new, for instance they have another model behind him on the wall that has a forward assist on both sides of the gun, except they are not forward assist's, they have been made to function as bolt release instead for easier quicker bolt release function.. Pretty cool guns.

Is there a way to disable last round mag drop? I really dont want my mags dropped hard on the ground all the time. :/
I would like to see a way of maintaining your magazines when they drop. If you're on the move, how can you keep from losing your mags?

The stock.... and the barrel color does it for me. Glad they offer the tube and stock separate. I might convert mine and see if i can get it anodized with the color.. I love that color scheme...

are those features something you can purchase, like aftermarket parts, to upgrade an existing rifle? i really like the idea of the bolt locking back after the last round...
Any info on the thermal abilities of the carbon fiber wrapping on the barrel? Specifically the resin components? I dont even know if its an issue but id like to know nonetheless
While that's a great feature to have almost a automatic mag drop for quick running n gunning, is there a way to switch that feature off for when u at the range jus shooting n don't want ur mags flying down everywhere
When the magazine is dropped can you insert a new magazine before firing the last round?

What happens in a jam? Do you pull the bolt and it eject a full mag and you now have to reinsert the mag?
You could almost do non stop shooting with the right trainning with it !
Like, you could put a loaded mag in when the empty one drops while the chamber is closed with a round in it and keep shooting. If you're fast enough it could be something special.

at 3:00 the magazine just falls out by itself during fire before the magazine is empty... Is this a feature?
What about their double D system? I remember it's something with the forward assist
what happen if it jammed? is it has a 'manual' mag realeases?
will they be offering the lower parts kit on it's own for people that want those features in their current rifles?
Really cool, this will conquer IPSC matches, although I wouldn't get one myself as I like to have control over the gun myself

That is the best looking AR I've seen, I've seen tons but that right there is FUCKING AMAZING. The features alone make me salivate lol
loading mechanics are pretty slick
The slate/red color scheme is friggin' incredible looking. I want one, but I don't happen to have $3K sitting around.
Seems like that automatic bolt release and mag eject might make for some good adaptations to a future mil-spec rifle. Though the same could be said for the dual side forward assist and a few other things.
Iraqveteran8888 puts out the best shot shoe coverage, hands down.

nice but i dont like how it kicks the clip out. im a big ar shooter and i have no problem changing clips. like the bolt holdback but to me the ckio kicker seems to be something to go wrong. seems good for aspeedshooter tho
This system will be perfect for CA residents. I would love to see an adapter that would do this for every AR.
You didn't mention if it is gas tube or piston blowback?
What optic did the rifle have on it at the range?

I like it new twist to reloading mags. Smart. Good Job on engineering from Cobalt Kinetics. I see a trend on AR's or other weapons systems form rifles to pistol. It makes so much sense. Best in show in AR evolution on magazine change.

Will I be able to set my phasers to stun?
I don't quite understand how the mag ejection system works. Does it only dump empty mags (hopefully yes) or will it ejection happen after a few shots are fired regardless of how many rounds you have left? The demo was a bit confusing.

Went to the web site and the cool gun everyone likes is only 3000. I was not able to see the cool but stock. my question will the company sell the gun as a upper and lower combo with hand guards like other companies do. Don't get me wrong i'm sure they make a lovely race/show gun but im the type of guy who loves Black Hole Weapons barrels and need a low mass bolt type of guy. so i only need the frame to make it my own. If not then its just a waist to a guy like me, cant have the same gun like everyone out in the club. club as in Gun Club. Sorry my wife had a question ( with all the changes to the gun i would love to see a side charge on ether side of the gun something like the SBRs.
And the barrel not change the colour with the time ?

add a string to your mags and when you take cover or are moving drop them in your pouch could make for some serious time saving

Very interesting gun. Very interesting. So what is the mechanism have a sit how does it know to operate the bolt catch with an empty magazine and how does it how does a drop the magazine I'd really like to understand how it works mechanically not just what it does functionally
