I want that riftcore! Would make a hell of a bug out bag if you place a cut piece of body armor in place of the laptop... 14.5" or lower (or SBR) AR broken down in the middle section, rest of kit in pouches... Now I just have to choose a color!

In my country, indonesia, black color always sold very fast. I want so bad to get wolfspur and riftcore in black. But available only in Tan. Not sure if i am gonna get it. But i am really impressed with maxped quality and design. 😊

May I know the Wolfspur's measurement for the morale patch area? Probably an estimate, I know it's not going to be available till June. Just excited to get one.

great video, nice packs. i only wish these didn't cost the same as a house payment. lol. they have a few i really want to buy but i guess i will have to stay with the condor brand of bags and pouches for now. i haven't had one fail yet in over 6 years. maybe this year i will save up and get the bigger bag from max.

Very nice packs but super expensive
The Wolfspur looks cool. I like most of the design decisions from what I see. Only a few negatives for me. First is the size. It looks huge but it could just be because of who is demoing them. Next, I wish they would have done a fully ambidextrous design like Vanquest did this year with their shoulder gear backs. Also, I think Vanquest has a better design on the front pocket. Maxpedition improved that pocket from what is on my Jumbo Versipack, but the Vanquest ones this year has a full clamshell opening with an IFAK pack layout. I think that is a brilliant touch for these type of bags. Lastly, it's sticking with that 1000D triplet urethane coated fabric. My Jumbo Versipak is 1000D and is way too stiff. I don't like that part about it at all. I think 500D is more than enough for these type of backs.
Overall though, I think its a great looking and designed back. The new main pocket design that is fully zipper enclosed and the rip away access to the CCW and the EVA pocket. I like their hex 500D material look in fact the whole bag should have been that to me. And that composite panel replacement for molle along with the zipper collapsible water bottle holder a great touches. All great designs despite my nit-picks.
Final thought, it's 6 months after Shot Show 2016, I wonder when the AGR line is going to make it out to some of the major gear channels for reviews. I'd like to see more in-depth breakdowns and use case examples and loads of these AGR backs.
I would love it if Maxpedition came out with a laptop backpack.

Awesome video. I almost want to give it a thumbs down as my wallet doesn't stand a chance against these products. Definitely going to be upgrading to some new models of the gear. Love that webbing.

I had a previous version of this Advanced gear Research sling that the top pouch had the soft touch rubber material and while sitting in the coolest for a few years it became super sticky and unusable. I contacted Maxpedition customer service about this issue, I got a reply basically said the issue is wear and tear, while I like Maxpedition and collected many bags from them I found this unacceptable. The bag sits in the closet for a few years is considered wear and tear, not material issue? This is suppose to be a rugged bag that can take the environment. I was expecting that your team admits the material selection issue and if I send back the barely used (maybe one time) and I get a replacement or repair unit with a cloth pouch. Instead I was told that this is wear and tear and is user issue. Very disappointed with how this issue is handled. Please remove the “advanced” from the AGR, because the name is not suitable for the bag
Honestly not a fan of this whole series. to me It just looks way too Jorge Jetson. I liked the bags Maxpedition was already making. The one bag I thought was kinda cool was the space age looking assault style pack but after further details realized it is actually quite a bit smaller than the Maxpedition falcon I I I That just came out!!! So to me it was like what's the point. I guess Maxpedition just wanted to show some new looks and put something on the market that hasn't been seen
