The Tales series is known for having pretty great characters. I suggest playing Berseria
Try Tales of Vesperia and Abyss
Sky's of arcadia, still a top 3 for me becuase of the characters.

Darris Pope I actually just picked it up haven't played it yet. Depending on the type of rpg you like,(I like a wide variety) earth wars and revenant saga are pretty decent rpg for the switch I own both.

To me it feels more like a tribute to all their older rpgs. It has the art style and the characters all come from different walks of life. Like, the most I see from Bravely is the combat system, but the story telling feels more like FF

Im honestly more excited for this than smash lol. Not to knock smash off its pedestal or anything.
Side note, I absolutely cannot decide wether I like Therion's or H'annit's abilities more.
I like that two characters each have essentially the same ability, you just have to decide whether you're going noble or rogue. I love the way Cyrus uses his ability in a way that makes me think of Phoenix Wright.

Played the 3 hour demo- it was excellent!! Great story, gameplay, graphics, menus and the music... wow!! I’m very much looking forward to the full game.

Ma bois. Just because its in a pixelated art style does not mean the graphics are bad. Its actually a beautifully made game. It might not be your cup of tea, but I for one agree that the visuals and art are amazing.

I think the part he's pointing out is that it happened at exactly 3:16. It's a wrestling reference, if I'm not mistaken. Something to do with Stone Cold Steve Austin, and something about "Austin 3:16"... Not sure exactly what that refers to, but it's definitely something I've heard.

I finished the 3 hour limited demo last night and decided to buy the game today just to find out this game releases next month!!!...
It's been a while since I was so anxious for a game release!. I can't wait for next month so I can buy this game and be happy!
Everything about this game screams FF4, FF6 and all those great SNES era Square RPGs.
The music in the first underground dungeon is a masterpiece. The battle system is perfect (turn based), the inventory and skills system, the voice over of the main character and the mysteries he solves... Everything is right on spot.
This is a game that is worth $60 in my opinion... Well, I remember I paid $90 for FF3 on SNES when it was released back in the day so why not $60 for this one!... Well the truth is that I cannot wait for it to be on sale... Play the demo now!

This game, tho. Why the Dislikes? It's a nice change in pace for me, from the extensive tasks of games like SMO and BOTW, which I'm very OCD of 100-percenting those games. Will definitely buy this.

Silver Screen I'm contemplating getting this, or any Nintendo game. Because when I got Mario Kart 8 and Pokken Tournament for Wii U and then they released the deluxe versions that you have to buy a whole new system to play, I was furious. I'm assuming it's a trend they're gonna keep rolling with. They gave up the 1 thing that made them different from these scummy western developers.
Daniel Goforth All the deluxe versions do are add all the dlc in one package, you can still play the games on the system lol. All Nintendo is doing is porting over games with upgraded/fixed frame rates and all the dlc so they can get more sales from the people who never played those games. Nothing scummy at all about that. It's called progressing from one generation to another. Especially if the previous one was a failure
Guess I'm switching my Fire Emblem preorder to this game. Cyrus and H'aanit seem pretty awesome. Then Therion and Tressa would be cool too. I'll probs play all eight. I feel this is going to be one of my most played switch games lol

one thing: you play with all 8 of them, at once. you don't have to pick a character.
There is a specific mechanic for that, i suggest you to try the demo. it is really well done.

Fun fact: The original Final Fantasy was literally a D&D campaign. That's why it had so many iconic D&D monsters, including the Four Fiends who were all iconic boss-level monsters.

Kalani Lokua Banjo-Kazooie belongs to Rareware, not Nintendo. Rare was bought by Microsoft in 2002. Hence why we don't see anymore Rare games on Nintendo platforms. If you wanna play Rareware games so badly, buy an Xbox One and play the collection game called Rare Replay. It has the majority of the games made by Rare, including Battletoads and Banjo-Kazooie. Oh, and speaking of Battletoads, they'll star in a new game that will be released some time next year, exclusively for Xbox One and PC. Besides, if you want to play Banjo-Kazooie so badly, then download Yooka-Laylee from the Nintendo Switch eShop. It's as close as you can get. One last information: it's always good to have two videogame consoles, with the primary one being either an Xbox or a PlayStation, and the secondary one being a Nintendo console. NEVER buy a Sony hardware alongside a Microsoft hardware; these two do not get along. However, buy Microsoft + Nintendo or Sony + Nintendo and you're ready to go! I, for one, have a PS4 (main console) and a Nintendo Switch (secondary console). What about you? See you around! Cheers!

I remember the first time where I’m not interested to buy a switch at all until someone talk about octopath traveler in discord. I watched the gameplay trailer and got totally amazed with the artstyle and game mechanic. I bought a switch just to play this game lol. And then more great games announced for switch(especially rpgs). I have no regret buying this console at all ❤️
