@Daniel Morissette by using another app that can strike through text and then copy pasting. Most apps for text documents like Word have it as a feature, and there's also some free text converters online that'll do it for you.

@Daniel Morissette not sure about Word, but a lot of the text generators are on websites that work just fine on the mobile versions of chrome or safari.
Well Pokémon took the monster taming concept from Dragon Quest and Shin Megami Tensei, sooo.. ;)
Choices in their stories... I love it!!! I'm really hopeful to see diverse routes by fellow players. Castti's story looks really interesting to me; Ochette choosing her creature is awesome, too!

@@gorantamburic2000 it's the prequel to Octopath Traveler 1, and as mentioned it's a mobile game. It's better than 1 in almost every way, though, and is basically a 60 buck live service game you can play for free.
For instance, it's soundtrack is bigger and better than OT1's (~60 tracks vs ~90 in cotc).
@@gotaplanstan imo is far worse than original Octopath. Ofc you get more hours of content because is a gacha game...but that's it. Also, rates for 5* are bad and gems are scarce for F2Ps. I played it for like three months upon release, then uninstalled.

I like how dynamic the sprites are since the last game. There's so much movement in story events & especially in battle.
Sprites are a bit bigger which is good
Over 120 hours and 100% in the first game. So excited for this to come out!

LOVED Octopath 1. I didn't get much farther than part 2 and didn't do the final boss (and hearing what it's like.. just.. can't, but that's fine!).
Excited for 2. I never buy special editions, but got the special edition for this game!
I just completed the 8 characters stories for Part 1 and I’m satisfied !! Can’t wait for Part 2 now and honestly I’m torn between choosing Thronè or Agnea as my main

I must admit, I like that this game isn’t trying to totally reinvent itself, most of these additions feel like natural progression

I can’t friggen wait for this! I love Octopath so much! I scratches the turn based itch that so rarely gets scratched these days.
I always fell in love with "summoner/companion-user" type characters. I'm in love with Ochette
I'm doing another run of the first, and I have to say, I've learned to appreciate the summoning and companion play style
Hyped for this, looking forward to characters interacting more than the first game

@@Shosholegbt actually steam has a minimum of 0 and a max of unlimited on account of running off a pc, which also makes that an unfair comparison.

I’m starting as a hunter in this game.
This confirms one of my theories since the first trailer. We either saw Ochette with the Fox or the Owl but never both so I theorized that you would „choose“ your partner at the beginning, Pokemon-Style
Ochette's secondary talent's giving me the "you're my friend now, we're getting soft tacos later" vibes
So let me get this straight: with Ochette I can either make nice with and forcibly take any townsperson to join my cause, or sic my animal friend onto the townspeople and coerce them to fight me. With Castii, I can either interrogate the townspeople or drug them.

I will go with castti this time. Concoct ability is such an all rounder skill(broken) and require a lot of practice. And farming material promote farming exp for party members

I never heard of this series but I'm really digging these 3D sprite settings with light casting and the way the display camera is set up. The plot and other art design looks inviting enough for me to give it a try. I ought to buy a Switch this year.
This dev team also released a couple other games in this art style last year, a strategy rpg called Triangle Strategy and a remake of the Super Famicom rpg Live A Live. And they have a remake of Dragon Quest III on the way
It's actually 2.5D
I *HIGHLY* recommend playing the first one before the second. It's absolutely stunning, and the music hypes the adventure in every way.

To be clear, you don’t need a Switch if you just want to play this. It (and the original and Triangle Strategy) are all on Steam and PS.
I'm still not sure who to pick as my starter traveler, but Ochette is definitely in my Top 4, alongside Partito, Throne, and Temenos. She's absolutely adorable with Her ears, tail, nose, connection with animals, and overall primal nature. Plus, the fact that she can cook monsters into meals, give them to townspeople, and take them with her is really something I wish H'annit had in the previous game. This sequel is going to be such an epic journey, regardless of who I start with.

I’m a sword and board kinda guy, so in the first game I chose Olberic. Just play the one that fits your mood or personality.
Ochette doesn't seem like my type if I'm being honest. I've had my eyes on Castti all this time.
I always pick based on class first. I'm glad H'aanit wasn't like that because she's strictly a hunter with animal connecting. Her hunting is to keep others safe from dangerous beasts.
I haven't beaten pt1 yet. The games huge. Looking forward to playing this adventure.

The narrative appear to be more interesting and thought out, therefore, intriguing. And I adore the approach of being more invested in stories, paired with pleasant voice, music and visuals too!

After playing Octopath Traveler, Triangle Strategy and the Live A Live Remake, I gotta say these HD-2D games grew on me. I am looking forward to this and the Dragon Quest III HD-2D Remake.

All these characters stories look interesting and I can't wait to play them all but in the first Octopath I had to take the path of the Knight first, and now I HAVE to take the path of the Samurai first lol
I didn't enjoy the Hunter in the previous game as I didn't rely on limited use allies and provoking npcs to battle with limited use only monsters seemed a waste compared to a fight with the warrior.
I'm excited for the crafting items from monsters, makes capturing more worthwhile, which can have a chance of being automatic too which is a handy feature.
I hope there is a monster catching tracker to bring out the pokemon collecting side in me. You catch a monster and can learn a bit of lore about it, what items it drops or produces, all compiled in a dictionary. I see a great opportunity to expand the gameplay and make the hunter from my least favourate to my most.
Same, it was a bit of a pain investing in H'aanit having to capture monsters all the time but they fixed this with Ochette, 25% chance of claiming a monster after the battle which should fill you up with a lot of monsters, and you can turn the ones you dont need into items. Hunter seems in a much better spot this time around.
And they also got rid of limited uses for Captured Monsters too.
@Doodlebug Four They didn't even mention that in the trailer for some reason. That's the best improvement by far!
@@ademsahin6396 If you look at the party where they show off the Prepare feature, they don't show the numbers of uses on the monster list. I read a Gemetsu article that confirmed that captured monsters are unlimited use this time.
