@@onewingedren9239 im a fan of JRPGs and just Nintendo in general. This and XC3 look awesome, as well as the Advanced Wars remake. But like you said, Splatoon 3, Mario Strikers, Kirby, Switch Sports, and more MK8 tracks give us so much to look forward to! This direct was packed with stuff for everybody

I just finished the prologue demo and it's so incredible. The graphics, the world building, the characters, the branching storyline, the combat system, the exploration phase, and skill tree. Square Enix knocked it out of the park. And in a time when so many video games get hyped up and then suck, I think they were really smart to release a sample of the game for free. Definitely try it out.
Have you even played Final Fantasy Tactics? Triangle Strategies class, item and recruiting systems are absolute downgrades in comparison, which kills the entire point if this specific genre. It's a shame that 15 years after the FF Tactics Advance 2, the sequel not only isnt a improvement in that aspect, but even a downgrade.
@@eraldocoil9321 I think the "downgrades" are alright because instead of there being an emphasis on character customization, the developers made the story more dynamic and customizable. We do not know yet how all the systems will play out in the end. I prefer to keep an open mind.
@@eraldocoil9321 I was a pretty big FFT:War of the Lions fan as well, but you know, I'd say give this one a chance. Because, I think maybe having all unique characters that are not interchangeable and not disposable is actually a GOOD thing.
This is a game in which... for example, you can make story decisions that the game thinks are heavily "utilitarian," which could mean that the fire mage on your team, who has strong "moralist" attitudes, won't like you anymore and leave, which means that you better come up with strategies that do NOT rely on fire magic. I don't think I've seen that before, have you?
If they pull this off, it'll be a game where choices actually matter, and strategy has to adjust accordingly. That wasn't true of FFT -- there were essentially no story choices, and once you had trained up a couple of Calculators, and/or Ninjas with Teleport (my favorite), it almost didn't matter much where you positioned them for the most part.
Well, let's see if they pull it off. Demo's decent I'd say.
@@eraldocoil9321 if you liked old school tactics games, try the "Tears to Tiara" series. Trust me, you'll love them.
@@eraldocoil9321 I have played it and it's really old and feels bad to play a compared lot of newer releases. You have to play the game with a wiki since it doesn't tell you what half the mechanics do and its lack of harder difficulties made the game really easy for someone who's played a lot of tactics RPG's. It's not a bad game but it has aged tremendously and while I like a more free-flowing class system, calling a more restricted class system just worse isn't true.

This game looks better and better each time. It's crazy that the working title became the ACTUAL title of the game! I'll admit that the title "Triangle Strategy" has grown on me. Looking forward to picking up my preorder.

The remake of Live A Live is next and according to the head of Square Enix he wants more games in this style so expect more
Man, I remember giggling like a little kid the first time they announced the game was going to be called Triangle Strategy, but when you hear her sing about it in that song? You're like "Yes, this is the most noble of titles!"
Every time a new trailer comes out I get more excited! This is definitely one of the very few games I will play several times to explore all the different directions the game can take!

Okay, this game looks a lot of fun. Definitely going to play through the game and hopefully the gameplay will be just as fun as how the trailers make this game seem out to be.

@@FlyingFairyS2 I say that it is possible for an E3 announcement for either a remake or a new Fire Emblem for Winter 2022, but at this point I am more expecting a release sometime in 2023
rumors are there will be 3 fire emblem games, 1 remaster, 1 warriors spin-off, and 1 new 'main' FE. but no guarantee's obviously. This game will hold me over regardless. Got at least 3 playthroughs in it depending on your paths it looks like.

Play the demo first, get familiar with the mechanics and lore. So once the game is released, we can start right into the actions. Already prepared multiple save files for multiple plot line 😂😂

I got hooked on Octopath, I'm taking a break but for awhile I was obsessed.
Octopath Traveler Had Very Amazing Stories. Sad. But Amazing. Graphics and Visuals And Able To Feel The Emotion With Each Character And Their Stories; Quite The Masterpiece. I Only Recently Heard Of Triangle Strategy And Plan To Invest In This As Well.

This definitely will bring Final Fantasy Tactics/ Tactics Ogre vibes. We're getting Chrono Cross Remaster, so FFT Remaster is going to happen next year.
I love both and yeah the graphics remind me of a better looking TO:LUCT. Very excited! Fingers crossed this game reminds Square people want tactical RPGs and to remaster FFT

Didn't FFT already get a remaster in the form of War of the Lions? Or was that just a "here's FFT, but with a bit more meat on the bones"?
@@EpyonRules It was mostly FFT with a bit more. Honestly I don't mind if we get that again or a full on remaster, I just want more FFT and to be able to play natively on current-gen console and PC.
@@EpyonRules It was just the same with some extra content, an a whole bevy of serious issues like ungodly slowdown and lag.
Thankfully, there are some romhacks that seriously elevate the port.
Still, it would be fantastic to get a modern release without the ridiculously long animations and load times from the original, or the lag of war of the lions.
I never finished the demo but with the full game coming out tomorrow, there’s little reason to. I’m so excited to experience everything this game has to offer!
There was a channel saying how to maximize levels before the full game came out. I thought it was ridiculous, as you can only Level up to 5, lol. For some reason, in FFIX I would level up Zidane to Level 5 when he strays into Evil Forest by himself.
Dude! Im buying this day one, i played the demo they had on the store prior to this and was very impressed, and it seemed like i could play it again and make different choices. I wonder if there will be a special edtion Switch for this game. I have the lite only and I'm thinking of selling it or trading it in and getting the dockable version just for this game.
they got a new demo out now that makes you able to play ch 1-3 and the data will cross over to the actual game

I don't know what is weirder, that they called the game triangle strategy, or that made its theme song called song of triangle strategy, or that they worked "triangle strategy" in as a main lyric into the theme song.
Highly recommend this game! It was so challenging, yet never stopped being fun to play.

It's a sin that this game didn't get nominated to Game of the Year. IMO, Triangle Strategy didn't deserved to win the GOTY, but it definitively deserved to be nominated.

As soon as I played through Xenoblade Chronicles 3 I think I'll get this. Looks amazing and it reminds me of Final Fantasy Tactics Advance and Final Fantasy Tactics A2 which I absol loved back then

I literally sat through this with my jaw hanging open. THIS LOOKS INCREDIBLE!!!!!! The music and background and everything else male this the best trailer I've seen, probably ever. I am so incredibly hyped for this game. It's been a long year but it's almost upon us. I can't wait for this, it's going to be mindblowing, it might even surpass Octopath. This will definitely be one of the best games this year, maybe even my GOTY. It's Elden ring level awesome, maybe even more so. the fact that there's a second demo is the icing on this miraculous cake

Lo estoy jugando y es memorable en todos los aspectos. Nunca me gustó mucho el género y este me parece una gran obra maestra. Es un juego extraño y fascinante: se fundamenta sobre todo en la extraordinaroa narración, peto tiene fases cortas de explotación, toma de decisiones y algunas batallas tácticas divertidisimas.

Can’t wait to play this game from the trailers and reviews this game looks amazing, it reminds me of one of the storyline in Soulcalibur VI with the decisions you make affect the story. Adding to that I am really looking forward to playing this mainly because I per- ordered the Tactician’s Limited edition for my Nintendo switch! So I can expect a lot more.

I am so happy this got ported to pc so quickly. I'm 70 hours into the game and got done with my 2nd playthrough so far. The story is so damn good that you simply can't put down the game. I'm definitely going for the true ending on my 3rd playthrough this time. My personal GOTY 2022.

It takes time, age and a lot of experience to sort out the really good and worthwhile games from the grey masses of gaming junk out there nowadays
First time I feel there is a TRUE spiritual succesor to FF Tactics. It's not just the amazing systems in the game. It's also the storytelling with themes about there not really being a "good guy" kingdom, but there are sweet-tasting lies that can make you- even as the player - feel like there is for a time. You want it to be true just like the protagonist and then you face disillusionment, just like the characters - one by one. And then that's not the end either, you still decide there are certain things that you can still do. Doing good is not meaningless.
Much more complex themes than most entertainment can handle these days LOL.
I mean it's the same company and honestly it looks like they reuse some of its assets, which as mentions it being the same company it's a very large likelihood.
