It's not misleading. The Torna story is actually in there. It just comes with a code for the Xpass, to incentivise you to buy the full game.
No what I meant is normally digital codes come as a card and not in a box. So if I didn't know better I would've expected to get a physical copy.

Though one thing i hope they add is a nopon blade. It felt weird there wasn't even one.
It may be a DLC but it has its own physical version. Its based off Xenoblade 2 having some characters we all know, but other than that its a whole new game.
It's a good I already bought the expansion pass. They gave us a third Xenoblade Chronicles game as DLC for the second game. Bravo Monolith

Xenoblade X is a spiritual successor, in that it uses the same concepts, and there's some cool easter eggs referencing XC1. XC2 isn't really a sequel to 1 though, and without any spoilers for any of the games, XCX could theoretically just be another sequel in the same way that XC2 could be a sequel.
I'm almost positive X is connected somehow. I mean, they specifically said 2 ISN'T connected to 1 and look how that turned out

Torna: The Golden Country has sufficient content to be considered a new game on its own. I'll definitely get a physical copy of this one.

You know what would be great? Malos in smash. And I think a lot of people ignored this annoucemente because its "just" a dlc for a "weaboo game", but expect this dlc to be freaking great.
Vinícius Delfim while im on the same boat as weaboo game,i would pleasantly enjoy malos being in smash.He could even be an echo fighter of shulk because if his weapon and boss fight.Plus,he's the only good part about the game too.
Is it just me or do the cutscenes look cleaner? Like, I think they may have taken their time with these cutscenes, more so than with those in the main game.

In BotW’s defense, that final dungeon and boss battle was pretty sweet. I know we all wanted more actual story, but let’s face it, BotW was never really about story.
It was all gameplay and exploration. It probably would have been easier to make a story-centric DLC if the game was more story oriented to begin with. Pretty much everyone was dead in BotW.

Holy... I was expecting this to drop in December, maybe November at the earliest
So we can play as Addam, Mythra, Jin, Lora, Haze/Fan, Hugo, Brighid, Aegaeon, possibly Mikhail, and an unknown character (Who looks like he could actually be Cole when he was younger, potentially). Also, if I'm interpreting the icons correctly, Addam will be Lightning type, Lora will be Fire type, and Haze will be Wind type (The name "Fan" now seems more appropriate). Damn.
Edit: People have confirmed that the unknown character is Cole. His Core Crystal, hairline, scar, etc., are the same as Cole's. Also, the datamine that happened about a month ago showed that there is Blade data for Jin, Malos, and Haze, so we could be able to use them in the main game (They'll probably be rewards for completing the new story).

The unknown character is the guy with the scar on his eye and daggers. He also has a Flesh Eater crystal, which makes me think it's Cole/Minoth.

Aerius Astrum The DLC could’ve been better but it wasn’t crappy. You all just let the rumors & theories get to your heads, and that’s what’s funny about Nintendo fanboys. No wonder E3 was a disappointment, everything was already leaked!
it absolutely was crappy. One dungeon, a load of repeat content and a few shrines (including the master trials) made with the same tileset as the old ones is all we got. What few cutscenes we had were completely meaningless and added nothing to the plot or lore. The master cycle clearly used up a lot of the dev time.
It's amazing that we'll finally learn the story of Addam's time and that we can play as him.
Although I can't deny the fact that I'd've liked to hear some more: *AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYÀH*

Now that I think of it, including Lora & Jin could be more likely than having Addam.
If they were to be added, I imagine they would function differently from Rex to account for the mechanics in this new game.

Awesome trailer, and I know that there wasn't any way around this, but I personally wanted them to downplay how big Malos is. Him turning out to be important was one of the best twists to me because of how much they underplayed it in the early game, and many wrote him off as generic grunt/assistant to Jin. So I feel a little bad for people who have yet to play this and may have been spoiled.
Agreed. I thought he was just a secondary character and they would follow the anime troupe where Jin the pretty silent boy would be the main antagonist while the tough loud Melos would be his sidekick.
I feel the bigger spoiler in the trailer is Jin Fighting against Malos aswell as them talking about the second aegis being malos

Syndek yeah ch.1 set off alarms but he seemed subservient to Jin, so when they casually mentioned that he was the main villain 500 years ago, I was shocked that his importance dwarfed that of even Jin's.
the original story trailer last year for the base game also had spoilers in it. I usually avoid these until after I have played the game.... but it being a prequel means the base game itself is a spoiler in a way.

So Amalthus WASN'T Praetor at the time of the Aegis Wars, the Emperor of Mor Ardain, Niall and Morag's ancestor, is a dead ringer for Niall, and Malos initially was a weapon FOR Indol. Also, Amalthus technically was working WITH Addam's group? This is quite interesting.
Yeah, remember old man Cole was Amalthus' blade, and he fought against Malos. You can see young Cole/Minoth here, he's the one with the dual blades/pistols.

i agree, the BOTW DLC was kind of a let down for me
In the end we got: A hard mode, a good dungeon, a motorbike, and some items.
Everyone got their hopes up for more story content, but we barely got any.
Yeah I got my hopes up with the "more story" aspect, but then I realized that the main game story was told mostly through cutscenes of the past. If we got to play as Link or Zelda 100 years before the events of BOTW, giving us more about the champions, etc then this game would have been perfect.
people were hyped because they said the dlc would give us a new story. it didnt, just cutscenes about the champions not really doing much. in the end of the day, link is still an amnesiac and barely remembers his friends besides a few short interactions.
