- Huge thank you to the Advitan team for bringing me out to work on this project for their gallery!
you can check out their website here: advitan.ca/
They specialize in creating completely natural products for our aquariums from water conditioners to fertilizer! I have been testing all the products on my tanks and absolutely love them!
In this video we set up a nano Dutch style aquarium. This tank is about 10 gallons. I go through all the steps as well as which plants we have used to guide you through the creation of your own Dutch style aquarium. This tank is going to be run with CO2 as well as a chihiros vivid mini led light.
I hope you guys enjoyed this video and hopefully I will get to do another scape for you guys soon!
If your looking for some plants to grow in Canada here is my site where I sell plants directly from my tank: kalemsfishtanks.ca
want to give a huge shout out to aquariumco2.ca, this is where I get all my lights and CO2 equipment. You can use code "Kalem" for 5% off your order!
if you want to keep up with frequent updates of my tanks check out my other socials!

How this video does not have a million views?
Hahaha thank you!
Tank size
I’m curious to see how it all grows in and what plants do best it looks like you have quite a variety in that little tank
Yeah I am as well! Definitely going to be quite a bit of trimming
@@KalemsFishtanks are you going to be maintaining this aquarium or are the people that let you set it up handling it?
@@SlickNick3 the people who let me set up it are going to be maintaining it. But im going to be directing a little bit on the way I want it trimmed haha
How do you get Ludvigia Pallustris so red "out of the box"? Usually, it takes weeks of bright light after you purchase them to make them change color?
This ludwigia was grown in one of my tanks and I just trimmed some and brought it over for the scape so it was already bright red
@@KalemsFishtanks oh, I see. Thanks for the quick answer. What is your secret for having red plants evenly red from the tip to the foot? My red stem plants are red at the tip but the bottom remains green.
@@VuHien2011 need more light to get the whole thing red not enough is getting to the bottom
