We saw Kambosos scrap with Lopez and thought that Kambosos knew how to force a scrap. But in reality, Lopez was coming forward in that fight and Kambosos didn’t have to look for him. Haney kept the fight at his distance. Wasn’t looking for a scrap. Outboxed and outclassed him.

I've always said that outside of Shakur Stevenson, I don't see many beating Haney. Too strategic, too technical. There's a big "IF" with Tank. Tank wins IF he can knock him out. IF that fight goes the distance, Haney UD. Teo and Ryan Garcia are non factors to me

Ryan Garcia even though i don't like his big mouth have the best chance if he stays disciplined. Haney himself have said in an interview that Ryan is a great boxer and they sparred many times and know each other well. Haney is the man at lightweight though.

Paulie, you may want to look into why the Franchise Champion was made. It’s was originally different than the WBA super champion because it was not a belt, it was a “designation” and was never supposed to be able to be lost/transferred. It did allow you to jump from weight classes to become Mandatory for the WBC title, but not have Mandatories yourself. Then Teo beat Loma and everything started to get funky when they said he was now Franchise Champion because he petitioned for it. WBC should just trash that title and save us all some confusion.
It was made to protect Loma and Canelo but they act as if we dont understand that!! It was basically a hall pass to duck smoke!!

@@yvans. yeah I agree. I don't get why people think Loma was avoiding Haney. Had he won against Lopez Jr, he would have fought Haney next. I wouldn't have faulted anyone for chasing another title instead of fighting the mandatory. He screwed himself by not adding the rematch clause otherwise we wouldn't have had the whole Teo clown show for almost a year before he lost against Kambosos Jr. The WBC messed everything up by transferring the franchise title to each fighter when it never should have been transferrable as per their own words.

"Roy, paulie, antonio, could you tell us a fight in your career when you were in Haneys position having to fight an opponent like Kambosis, and having to overcome these hurdles before the fight, how did you deal with the stress, anxiety, and how did you mentally overcome it"
They love reminicing on their past fights so this would be a grear addition to give the hardcore fans a strong insight of their past.

Moreover, Haney was supposed to fight Campbell but Lomachenko "somehow" got the fight.then so Lomachenko didn't have to fight Haney he took the Franchise. I enjoy this episode. I just want to say this. Devin Haney was Loma mandatory that's how he ended up with the fake belt as you called it Paulie. Lomachenko sidestepped him. The kid been calling for that fight. Don't take my word for it look it up. I don't think he will leave that division until he gets that fight.
Rule 3.22 of the WBC states an interim champion is not a mandatory unless explicitly ordered and Mauricio and Bill Haney have said Devin wasn’t fighting for the mandatory spot in that fight. Stop pushing this lie!

If you remember, the franchise was supposed to be non transferable. Yet when teo won. He got the belt. Kambosos won and idek what happened to it , now Haney does have the belt, but it’s just another belt at this point. Them titles are cursed anyway.

Paulie for the millionth time Devin had the real WBC title. Loma vacated the belt to avoid Haney and was awarded the “Franchise” title. The belt wasn’t supposed to be transferred. The WBC is at fault for this confusion
The WBC stated the franchise champion is the real champion with special abilities to warrant unifications. It’s confusing sure but Loma was the real champion based on the words of the owner of the damn organization. Your words or opinions don’t matter over his

best analysis i’ve watched and completely agree with everything said - I have love for both fighters but as an Australian I was really hoping for Kambosos to take the win, however Haney’s performance was absolute masterclass and the way he carries himself with so much grace is even more admirable. I’m really interested to watch the fight again on tv to observe the advice from the corners and more specifically Georges as I watched it in person but really couldn’t understand the game plan on his end and why it didn’t change throughout the rounds, but I have heard some rumours that some of the best people in his corner were dropped since the Teo fight and even before that… based on what we saw on Sunday, I think his corner absolutely needs to be reviewed, I still support him and hope he utilises this experience to his advantage for the future. As for Haney, I always said he is the next Mayweather, but to witness such a person become a legend in the moment actually gives me chills, all love to both fighters and a huge congratulations to Devin, to Bill, and the rest of his family & team ❤️
