My only problem is there wasn't really any fights he had before Canelo that I had to see at least off the top of my head. I get you only can possible fight who out there but it always takes away for me, a lot like bud he did his thing in his fights at welterweight but really only people he fought that's worth mentioning is Porter and Brooks and both were past their primes when he did so you cant knocc what you see completely but you can't say otherwise either. If they fight at 160, I don’t think Canelo does as well. We know he’s taking some questionable suppplements and not getting tested. If he drops the weight back down to 160, he won’t be as potent. The same happened with Roy Jones, they had him taking shit to get to heavyweight. He came back down and look what happened.
@@jonmolina948 huge difference between Roy and canelo weigh jumps. First, the fight is going to be at super middleweight. Second, the reason why the Roy jones jump was so damaging is because he gained up to 30 pounds going from light heavy to heavyweight, going down little under 10 pounds isn’t nearly as damaging.

the whole 40 fights thing doesn't matter. Only casuals think it means he had experience. Experience comes from LEVEL OF OPPOSITION. Canelo at 23 with 40 fights had fought nothing but tomato cans and old men on their way to retirement. He had experience for a 23 year old but not at the elite level.

If y'all don't remember correctly rounds 1-6 in the Floyd fight were extremely boring neither fighter did shit it was just a bunch of feints and jabs and both missing. Also Lara's punch output slowly declined more and more after round 4 he moved a ton but just started throwing less and less i was actually frustrated cause had he thrown more he could've clearly won but to me canelo won most of the rounds after round 4 due to harder punches and pressure and more active than Lara but i know you disagree im not trying to change your opinion so please don't try to change mine cause I've seen that fight many times i still have it 7-5 canelo lol

The chance of a fix is high. The Kovalev/Canelo fight was highly suspicious- a diminished Kovalev, at the end of his career in his last big payday, still looked like he wasn’t trying. GGG is now in the same situation, and all of the previous GGG/Canelo fights were rigged. But a loss to an old GGG after the Bivol defeat kills the Canelo golden goose. There is too much money at stake for Canelo to lose.

First mistake here is to compare the previous 2 fights to what will come in the 3rd one. Any GGG fan knows that this man NEVER STOPPED TRAINING and NEVER SURRENDERED.

But I predict Golovkin knocks Canelo out this time. There’s no way Golovkin will let this 3rd fight go to the hands of the judges.

Ruddock gained 10 pounds for the rematch, and was able to take all the tyson shots for 12 rounds.

Nobody really watched that Murato fight. Same as the Derevenchenko fight, he was not right going into the fight, and there was a lot of tricky shit Golovkin pulled to take out a really tough guy when you're not at your best.
Alvarez better not be looking past this fight. I think Golovkin has been weight drained in these last few fights trying to keep 160.

Canelo has perfected his defense he was always good at body shots and counter punching ability plus he beat the biggest names at 160-168

Love the podcast but I'm going to be honest, if this woman doesn't remove her bias for Canelo or any other fighter SHE WILL ruin the integrity of the show which is damaging for such a young podcast. She's currently a problem.

I thought Canelo lost in the 1st meeting then won in the 2nd fight. Still give Canelo credit for fighting GGG twice during that time. Canelo is better right now at this point, even though he lost his last fight, compared to GGG. To me it looked like GGG was slow with his movements and reactions in the last fight. I’m more of a GGG fan but give respect to what Canelo has been doing and I don’t see GGG winning the 3rd fight.

I have to disagree with Paulie, he makes a lot of adjustments, just his got out boxed on both of his Ls. But also 2 different fighters on both of his Ls . Mayweather is one of the best to ever lace the gloves. And Bivol was just a much bigger fighter with all the boxing skills to leave Canelo without an answer.
And I disagree with you..Canelo looks bad against the moving counter punching style.. he can’t adjust in the ring tell me a fight he made a adjustment in.. he fights pretty much the same way all fight.. he depends on his power more with a few hard slipping counters to frighten his opponents from throwing back..that’s his game basically.

Canelo made no adjustment in the Bivol fight because he thought he was winning. Therefore no adjustment was necessary. Canelo thought he was a big puncher and that his blows to Bivol's arms would bring down Bivol's guard and then he'd knockout Bivol. But Canelo is NOT a big puncher and his plan failed thru his own self-deception in thinking he's a big puncher. (Canelo's KO percentage is 64% - not the KO percentage of a big puncher)
