Relax Floyd fought top level guys and so will tank. They obviously have a strategy of building tank into a megastar so those fights make the most money possible. The belts don't matter as much we all know there's so many you don't have to be the best fighter in a division to even hold the belt. They also don't want to in their minds overpay for a guy or a belt when they don't have to. Think about canelo top guys with belts acquiesce to his demands on everything cuz he brings the money.

The bias is strong here. Haney dominated a better opponent than Rolly, and Haney is the youngest Undisputed of the 4 belt era, but they give him little credit and talk about how they think Tank is better and a bigger name. I want to see these guys fight. No more settling for lesser in house fights.

This is true but I think the problem that they will run across as greedy promoters is that Devin will command too much money, TMT and Tank want to dominate the income earned from every fight they are in, hard to do that when your opponent feels he deserves just as much or close to what your making. I really enjoy watching the podcast. I do feel that Ellerbe made this a tad restricted in terms of the natural flow and discussion.
He can’t really give haney his flowers as his not his client and he kept referring to tank even when it wasn’t needed.
I rate both but to “me” it’s clear that his very much about not crossing over the street and fighting what I call “the elite” of the division as they are at top rank.
As Exciting as tank is you can’t be fighting the level of opponents he is doing forever and keep saying you are the face of boxing. Or better still the best in the division. If he don’t fight the likes of loma, haney, Lopez etc then it will be a disservice to his talent and potential.

Haney did what he had to do. Wasn't exciting or anything all he had to do was pump the jab out and not allow kambosos to get off with combinations and that's what exactly what he did. Pumped the jab and then stepped back so kambosos would miss or not be able to get into range. He controlled the fight and distance not the most fun to watch but effective if he wanna win big fights
