“Healing” can be a tricky word to use. In some cases it could refer to:
- the natural process of repair and growth
- recovering from a serious injury
- healing from a physical, mental, emotional trauma
- resting and restoring energy
- a miraculous ‘healing’ that defies conventional thinking
etc.
‘Healing’ can be all of this.
In this approach to Qigong, healing refers to maximizing the ‘natural function of the body.’
Our body and mind wants to heal and be full of vitality. We want to be vibrant, energetic, clear and calm mind, with the ability to do everything that we want to do, and connect with our environment.

If our body has the energy, it can send all the resources to repair, restore, and revitalize. If it possible for an area to heal, this simple practice can help.
It must be said that this should not be thought of as a replacement for medical treatment for any condition. Rather, this is a complement to a well rounded approach to wellness.
Yes, it is very simple - and it is also instinctive. We already do this. When we hurt ourselves, we will ‘hold’ the painful part. This is an intentional extension of that practice 🙂

I'm Jeffrey Chand, an acupuncturist, practitioner of Traditional Chinese medicine, and Qigong instructor.
I am incredibly passionate about sharing simple Qigong practices because I have directly witnessed how helpful it can be for a variety of health issues, prevention, emotional/mental health, and even spiritual health.
The style that I try to present is simple but effective, because it is based on several Qigong traditions, clinical experience, physical therapy, traditional and modern medicine, and from working with many people from a variety of backgrounds.
This style can be practiced if you are an absolute beginner and if you already have experience in Qigong or Tai Chi.

Wish I could practice in the snow too! It looks so peaceful. Just wanted to thank you for your wonderful videos. You offer just the right amount of information and guidance, without taking away from the calming experience. I began practicing twice a day two weeks ago and the decrease in my anxiety has been remarkable.

Thank you so very much for this healing video. Your voice is very calming and soothing. It was very helpful to just concentrate on what my body needed to heal in this moment. It made me cry at first when I held the area that needed healing, but then you said to allow yourself to feel better .. and I have to admit, that one statement really blew my mind, because I didn't realize I was only feeling the pain and not really "allowing" myself to actually feel better!! This was a short and simple exercise, yet profoundly beneficial. Thank you again for sharing it with us! Oh, and I loved the snowy background. It felt very peaceful and still!

As mom of kids ; I have pain this 2 years from Doctor to doctor even I did spinal surgery with no results , and I’m still with pain and pressure around my pelvic , tailbone, rectum and anus , buttocks; with hernia disc and imbalance of muscles when sitting and high tension in my head …. All these symptoms pain stoped me to come back to work and to get job and I become with no income …. And I hope to be healed soon pain free body , help me please for free because of my bad financial situation please!! I live in Illinois USA 😢🙏🏻
