I love all your videos, but the thrift store vids are my favorites.
The box of Pfaltzgraff mugs . . . My mom was particular about the shape of her coffee cups. She liked them to be wide at the top. I bought her some of that same pattern. You would have thought I had given her a million dollars. She used them all the time. Thanks for the memory of her smile. ❤️
I love it when thrifters fix the shelves 😊 Setting matching figurines together or punch glasses next to their punch bowl. You found some amazing stuff again! Love that Bavarian bowl and that adorable creamer! Oh and the box too, that is gorgeous. And that Noritake dish! That is exquisite! 💖 ~Caroline
Always with love!! EEKKK you picked up a Longaberger basket and then put it back down!! Please consider, With Banana Box opening you will have an infrastructure need. These baskets are very hardy and will withstand a lot. Think a pen holder, a pulled tag holder, game controller holder, scissors and tape and so on. I have them all over my house in drawers and cabinets. Don't think about resale, think about keeping your life squared away. And for the .99 that the basket was priced at a pen cup at Walmart cost more. Again always with love to you and yours.

I always sell Longaberger pretty well.
I love baskets, I usually gravitate to them at thrift shops.
I saw that too, and said nooooo don’t put it back!!
The framed winter scene is The Hunters in the Snow, also known as The Return of the Hunters, a 1565 oil-on-wood painting by Pieter Bruegel the Elder. I have this print. I particularly like it because in shows Currier’s on the pond, a sport which is increasing in popularity around the county and one which my husband i enjoy playing. Copies on line fetch a decent amount.
Nina Sgriccia I loved the hunter print too.
I love this print; Brughel the Elder and Younger are both favourites of mine.
I wish you had gotten it, either polished or roughed up the frame and hung it in your den. You would have loved it even more 😉
That was interesting, made me feel like I have good taste 😉
I meant to say Curlers on the pond.
The bird on the teapot is a British goldcrest.
I think I could have stayed in that Goodwill the entire day. My stars there were some great pieces. The dark painted Noritake dish was also my favorite. Thanks for taking us along!
Love how you pair things up that have been separated
I bet I'm not the only one who finishes watching a CLL shopping video and then hops right on over to the Banana Box ebay site. I love seeing what's there and thinking "Oh I saw when she bought this or that!" Fun, inspiring, and learning lots. Thanks as usual, Jocelyn.
Thank you Jocelyn for filming so much content. I needed this, I'm at home with four boys and my husband has the vehicle for work all day so I'm "stuck" at home . I miss the pottery and littles, art finds, I miss thrifting. Lol.. so thank you!
I giggle when I watch you with voice over because I hear you say things like “it’s very shiny, or I just like it” and all I can think of is the black bird from the movie The Secret of Nimh” 😁😁🤣🤣♥️♥️
I've been watching you for several months. I have to say I am so jealous of all the stuff your Goodwills have there. Ours are always picked over and they don't let that much glass sit on the shelves. They routinely break it up in the back and throw it out.
So does my goodwill in cottonwood, arizona!
I’m extremely jealous also. We should move!!
Ha ha, “I don’t like being confused, so I left them there.” ❤️❤️❤️
Ah,I agree the Noritake dish is gorgeous!
It always amazes me that you can find such lovely pieces at Goodwill, like the French. painted dish.
I never see really good stuff at our thrift stores. I guess it’s the area of the county you’re in.
Cast iron stove was a salesman sample. I've sold several over 30 yrs. as antique dealer.
I used to play with one at my grandmas house. 😂
Crazy Lamp Lady me too !
I still have the one that was given to me as a child 55+ years ago. I have all the parts except for the silver colored "burner" lifter.

The milk glass shakers with the apples on them are Fire-King!!! Fire-King is my jam! I would faint if I found those in a thrift store. I GASPED OUT LOUD when you grabbed them. Lol. 🍎🍎🍎🌟🌟🌟
Me too.. I have the matching mixing bowls.. I would have screamed if i found those..
@@billiechiles3027 what was the time stamp on the video where she showed them
@@italiangirl2440 about 15:15
Salt cellar and pepper shaker was very popular in the late Victorian/Edwardian period and is the precursor to the condiment set. It was the interim period before pouring salt became available, allowing for salt and pepper shakers. They're often quite valuable and they remained popular in Europe, especially Bavaria/Prussia/Germany well into the mid twentieth century.
My mother had a stove similar to that one. I played with it when I was little. Wish I still had it. Definitely an antique.
The divided dish that looks like wings reminds me of a swan! When you turned it a certain way, the handle looked like a swans 🦢 neck as though the swan is grooming its feathers back behind one of its wings! Very beautiful!
I agree i think it is a swan too. So pretty!!
Marie Parrish it is indeed pretty! I love it when artwork is left a little up to the beholder’s interpretation! 💙🦋💙
I would love it if you would do an update on some of your thrifted finds and how much they sold for. It would be interesting to see what you paid for them and then what they sold for.
I agree what you paid snd what you resell for.
You can look in her EBay store and see what the things sell for
@@donnaglover5601 you
The teapot is beautiful and the Italian pottery plate is gorgeous! Good picks!
15:47 It's Pieter Bruegel the Elder's "The Hunters in the Snow"
Yes 😊 Very famous piece.
That she didn't know, but she really liked it, proves she's got the magic eye! Such a great picture. I've stared at it many times.
I’m with you the more cluttered the goodwill, the best treasures to find! 🥰
The way you precariously stack items in your cart always gives me anxiety.
Somehow nothing breaks.
You have more luck than I do.
I thought I was the only one..lol😆
I am there with you. My cart packing OCD kicks in every time I go shopping and every time I watch her videos.....my own personal problem. LOL
Bummer on the bird figurine. So cute that it had the hungry babies.
Love that you teach us, and some of us can teach you as well. I’ve learned a lot
I think the Ford "possible salt and pepper shakers" may have been small bookends. You fill them with sand and seal them.
Im glad you said it was your camera bluring the film i said to myself Kath youve done too much in the garden pack you tools away so i carried on watching drinking my large cup of tea. You did well at the new place there was some realy pretty pieces.
That is the prettiest Noritake I've ever seen.
Isn’t it beautiful!
That big dish is a swan the handle is the swans neck and head !
Oh my gosh! Its a swan?! That is so cool! What a find! Now I gotta go to an instant replay...
It does look like a swan. I have the lobster one that she mentioned.
Ah a wiggle before the violet dish went in the cart ! Anyone else notice the ‘I’m happy with this piece’ wiggles?
Went to my local Goodwill for the first time since they reopened yesterday and they had nothing. I'm glad for our animal benefit thrift store where I prefer to spend my money anyway and another volunteer charity shop.
Hi! This is exciting! A new Goodwill! That first yellow plate is worth buying. Depression glass. I have the matching rose bowl. I believe the pattern is Baroque, but I could be mistaken on the name.
I chuckled when you paired up the dolls, girl and boy, too cute. lol. The white divided tray reminded me of angel wings, awesome!
I'm still too afraid to go thrifting (I have immune issues) so I really appreciate how you shop for me😁~ crowded shelves are wonderful, it's truly like treasure hunting!!! Thanks for the great videos!!!💗
Be sure to go to the comforter section as soon as you go in the GW. Put the fluffiest blanket you can in your cart to put your ceramics in to prevent breaking while shopping. Then put it back when they are ringing you out!😄
Great idea!
Astounded at the amount of goodies you found, what a haul you lucky girl!
I never knew,,and should have...the name of the egg collecting basket...lol. Our goodwill I finally went to...a little blue about it but going to try a mix of about 10 things I got for 20 for both a sale and needs for me and mix with 49 years if stuff of mine for a garage sale...and then ... I melt to bleeding hearts...on that box...xo...GREAT place you have there. Adore the Mary Gregory!!
i finally went to my city's amvets and it was LOADED! i got around 89 dollars worth of stuff. The shelves were loaded with china cup and saucer sets that are in perfect condition. it was amazing.
A new store, that's always fun! I've given up on the Goodwills around Pittsburgh and need the push in another direction - Salvation Army, here I come!
I am in love with the hand-painted Noritake dish!
Oh dear I would have grabbed the iron horse 🐎 in a NewYork minute ! 🤪 You found some treasures today .
Ll
The horse you picked up right away at the beginning was an antique. Pretty cool...
I love your taste in re: vintage wares! Everything you picked up is fantastic!!! 👍👍👍
you are so fun to watch moving things around so they will be purchased together! I do that too.
Hello Jocelyn, you do realise I am sobbing right now because your video has ended? I have to wait another day to see the video of your other trip to Goodwill? Noooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!
Jocelyn...it is very hard to see the imprint STERLING on those glass coasters.I purchased 4 a while ago. and needed a magnifying glass and searched along the rim...and Voila. There it was...☺️😍
Oh no! The Bavarian reticulated plate is chipped! Hope you caught that before buying.
You can really hear your sense of humor in this voice over. You crack me up! Nice finds!
The old photograph you found is of Lincoln Cathedral in Lincoln England.
I have to tell you that lm from North Poconos and took my mom on a thrift/antique store adventure in Lancaster/Harrisburg/York/Hershey trip two days, 19 shops, and your area is the Mecca of thrifting! Very impressed with Community Aid and Reuzeit stores! Even went to Finders Keepers! Filled my car up! Thank you for making videos! Highly recommend the area, people are soo nice and farmlands are stunning! Antique Malls are a must!
My mom has one of the little stoves from when she was little
Awesome finds! Love shopping with you. Easy for me as I sit with my tea and blanket (its cold and raining here) watching you shop 😉. Thank you for your daily videos!!!
Maybe a salesman sample on the little stove?
I love that you rearrange the shelves!
🦋This Goodwill had so many nice thing. So glad you bought most of them. They had nice prices as well. I like the bird tea pot. I cabana? Nice. I have an old lamp that you showed a reproduction. Mine has to have the cord replaced, it’s frayed.
You're hysterical. Hreat finds as always. Thank you for sharing!!!
Beautiful finds. I LOVE the USA flower pot !
The divided dish with “wings”, looks like a swan, if you look at the handle; it looks like a swan’s head.
yes it definitely looks like a swan resting. a lovely piece
I found my people!
eso fue lo que vi!!!!
I thought the same thing
That last piece you picked was Gorgeous! That will sell.
Love your thrift with me videos. I am learning so much.
Btw I loved the pieces that confused you. Lol.
I love the cluttered shelves too. I feel Like I am on a treasure hunt! I am always looking for that 1 special treasure!
I have a “Mary Gregory” red glass Christmas plate that is from Czechoslovakia.
Lucky! It sounds beautiful!
That wing basket was so pretty!
The white divided dish with gold trim I believe is a Swan. Very pretty
That iron by the stove was so cool I would've got both. 😉
Love when your videos pop up. thank you!!
new store sections 1the Crazy Lamp Lady's Lamps 2. Its Got a bird on it section!!
The picture is ‘Hunters in the Snow . Painted by Pieter Breughel. A very famous Flemish painter . Its one of a serie that depicts the months of the years. I believe this represents January.
I always head to the linens first and get some towels to protect my breakables
Ah yes thank you, I thought I recognised the painter but I didn't recognise this particular painting.
A few days ago I picked up over 60 pieces of silver overlay. I don't really like glassware but it was so cheap I just couldn't leave them there.
You have the best goodwills! Ours here in Arizona are overpriced and filled with broken things. I loved that divided dish it kind of looked like a swan with the wings and the handle looked like it was looking backward. Great haul!
I love that GW! I could have spent hours there!!! Great purchases!
New Goodwill!Happy Friday!Let's do this👍💖🍃🌷🍃☀️🌊
I love all your vids. You are so elegant.
TFS your craft.
That painting was a print of Bruegel a famous Dutch painter in the naive style
Love the black horse-looked heavy, like the bird tea pot. Like the green Japanese flower holder, could be used for a candle too I think.liked the pottery birds -id check them as I dont care for chips, cracks. I did like the star item. I did like the snow? art picture too you left behind, dont know why.
19:09 the hand painted dish you found is gorgeous
That Noritake dish was amazing!! What a find!
Beautiful bird teapot ☕️ ❤️
So wish you had grabbed the Eastern Star set. Very nostalgic memories of my grandmother. I’m going to look for them now on ebay. Maybe someone else has them.
Loved the bird tea pot! 👍🐥
Talk about overstock! I was shaking! You got lots of pretties today......I did like the picture you put back also.🙂
You have an exceptional eye for beautiful pieces.
The painting/framed print you liked but didn't take is called "The Hunters in the Snow" by Pieter Bruegel the Elder
I loved how Jocelyn couldn’t touch those pfaltzgraff long enough to see what’s below! Very understandable the box of mugs was probably 20 pounds!!
I think in that area of the country, there is an abundance of antiques. Harder to sell locally then on line. That's why some scrapers don't pick up some things we would be thrilled to get.
Years ago I had that little boy and girl it was over 40 years ago . I loved them but one of my kids broke them . I never got over that . I loved them
You are finding some gorgeous stuff on this trip. Makes me want to move out there because I never have this kind of luck. HHHHAAAA!!!!
There’s a Good Will in Waldorf Maryland you might want to check out. It’s not big or have bins. Call first to make sure they are open before you visit.
I hope no one is playing the “bird” drinking game today! BEWARE if you are! You will be completely blitzed after 9 minutes! Lol..... I counted the “shot” phrase 4 times in less than 10 seconds! 🤣🤣
I don’t drink so I’m safe but I wanted to make sure that I put out a PSA for viewers that maybe are planning a Friday night viewing party of CLL!
Great video as always Joc! ❤️🦜❤️
Bahaha. This comment made me LoL. Thank-you!
Crazy Lamp Lady you’re reply MADE my day! Going to get tested for Covid-19 today and this was a great distraction from my worries!
I've started making a Starbucks style coffee earlier in the day and take an extra sip. Hmmm I guess too much caffeine is as bad as too much alcohol😂
I thought the same thing, Stephanie! Anybody throwing back a shot at every "It's a bird" will have imbibed too much of a good thing, LoL!
Thanks for sharing and caring! Stay Safe!
15:55 it's the most famous painting in the history of art ;)
Some beautiful things!
part of Bruegel print I think love his work!
I would love to have your local goodwills here where I live in eastern Ohio. Ours are mostly clothes and maybe 1 aisle of glass/home decor 🙁
Love watching your channel and all the great finds.
That small picture you put back on the shelf is of Lincoln Cathedral in Lincoln, England. I was there and its beautiful.
Omg that panda tea kettle! 😍
Wow some great buys here!
When the shelves are over flowing like that it sometimes makes me anxious. When you started I started to taking deep breaths. Hahahahaha
Our shelves are very low so I would love it to be overflowing
Palmyra is a good location - I have found some great things there. When the sink holes are bad though, getting there can be tedious.
That Noritake dish is fabulous!
Best Goodwill Thrift, in quite some time ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I found a box almost a Twin to the one you picked up. I haven’t sold it, yet but the mirror in mine has some imperfections in it.
I love the birds.
