I went to a yard sale today....My gracious! You would have gone crazy there! The goods were from a hoarder's house, and he hoarded some great stuff. I got a Murano glass dog figurine for $2, with the original sticker. I don't collect, nor did I need it, I just couldn't help myself after watching all of these videos!
Yeah you can find some really nice Diamonds in the Rough at yard sales!

I had a wedding to go to this weekend that you were all in Ohio. First trip away of the year. And all of you go to my local thrift store haunts. This is my favorite goodwill near me. I make the most money from their inventory. Lots of people with money in that area. Love that you were picking up and looking at some of the things that I have before. Blows my mind seeing my local goodwill on here. Great pick ups.

When my daughter lived in Cincinnati there was the greatest small Goodwill, mostly for clothing, located in Oakley. If you were there right after the store opened there were fabulous bargains. I found a designer leather coat for her for $6 and gorgeous skirts for work for $4 each. Closest Goodwill to an affluent part of town.
I'm going thru there this weekend. I think I'll check it out! (Just checked google. I've actually been there several times. The best thing I ever got there was a German Christmas candle pyramid for $4.)

I thought that too! I’m constantly amazed at how packed these stores are! Yesterday, I went to the one closest to me and the dishes shelves had virtually nothing on them. Our prices are high, too. Thinking of moving to PA. LOL - maybe in my next life... love watching your vids

I quit going into the goodwill stores here .when they started pricing used stuff higher than it cost new in the department stores .

They leave the prices on from Dollar General, and put their price on which is a dollar or two higher! How stupid is that??

Same here, in Prescott, Arizona. Router for $69, when a brand new one, in a box, warranty, and pieces $79 at name brand store.
The quilt you bought I bought the same from a Family Dollar Store over 25 years or more ago when my kids were babies. We didn't have much money to spend on such things and I loved to quilt. I deconstructed it and made a pillow and a throw out of it for my sofa. Used it for many years and sold it at a flea market years later. I had redone all of the stitching. Your quilt, while beautiful probably never had a hand laid on it. Loved mine for many years! Enjoy! Love watching your videos and have learned a lot from you! I found the Goodwill bins near me thanks to you...never knew there was such a thing. I've made some good money reselling from the bins. Thanks and best wished to you and your family!

The wood head with the string and stick is a Mexican top, it’s a toy top where you hold the stick and try to flip the head onto the stick😄👍

Jocelyn, yea those old HEAVY dog food bowls are great until you drop one on the bridge of your foot and wind up with a walking cast for the next 8 weeks. I did that and I’ve NEVER had anything hurt worse, my foot swelled and turned purple, black, blue and green before it got better. I FIRMLY recommend plastic now.

Jos those pottery dog bowls also make great planters. Especially if it's chipped, or has a crack. Recycle instead of ending up in a dump some where.

That thing with the stick attached to it is a toy popular in Mexico. You hold the stick and try to get the round thing on on top of the stick using one hand only.

Your Mary Alice Hadley items are a find! Being from Louisville, I grew up with MAH pottery. My mother knew her, they were in the same civic organization together. I visited the MAH factory again a few years ago when I was visiting Louisville. I recommend the tour if you're in the area (and Louisville Stoneware, too).
