The spout of a teapot is in the middle of the body. The spout for a coffee pot is at the top of the body, near the lid. That's how you tell the difference.
Never noticed that! Thank you so much for sharing that. 😃
How funny that KC mentioned Lawrence Welk. My grandparents also watched him on Saturday and if I was at their house I'd watch it.
It's a good memory that I have of them.
I always watched Lawrence Welk Show with my grandparents too!
Good times! 👊🏻
Grace2010H me too! 7:30 on Saturday nights when we stayed the night with her. I think I could still name alot of the singers too! Wunnerful wunnerful! 😊
Me too!!
I just wanted to say how pretty your hair has been looking in recent weeks. The color and longer style is very stunning and fits you perfectly.
Totally agree!
i love everything you got
That I Love Lucy bag was actually The Jetsons from the sixties. On a new bag.
I went to Goodwill and realized I was going against the arrows! I almost had a heart attack 😁
It happens to me as well. I know by the energy from peeps. Oops 😜
When I was at my Aunt's and grandma I asked to watch "Mr Bubbles" with them. LOL
WOW! That was the mother load of all mother loads. Good going Jocelyn! You cleaned up the aisle's for sure. That should keep Casey busy for a while. ha ha ha Have a great day!
I loved, loved, loved this video. So much fun! Great when you find so much stuff. You're making me want to go thrifting today, but I have so much stuff at home to list.
When I got married the first time in very early '77, my hostess wedding gift was that exact Otagiri strawberry dishes set. One of my cups was chipped and they gave them a discount because it had just become a discontinued pattern. Damn...me and those cups go back a min.
That crochet is for circular table I think.
Tell Kassy, a lot of young people collect records of older music..and buying up record players.. It's cool. ! :)
Love watching you shop. It feels like I’m right there with you.
I don’t know if someone has said this already, but the white and brown circular scalloped crochet would go on a round table with glass on top of the crochet and it would hang down all the way around evenly. Maybe a Tiffany lamp, trailing plant or a beautiful vase would go on top of all that...
I was so happy when you changed your mind and got the restaurant ware!!
Awesome! I love old Christmas records too.
Love those mustard pattern restaurant ware.
You’re with birds the way I am with French Bulldogs. I have two, and anything I find with them on it makes me excited.
Canister set is beautiful! Love the restaurant ware.
I live in Kentucky and yours Goodwill’s has so much more for customers to buy and resell items
Yes, me too and the items seem much better than ours. And lower priced. But I try to go into $$$$ neighborhoods where I find better stuff.😌
Omg i grew up with Lawrence Welk also For The same reason my grandparents listened to them😁
Me too! And I have lovingly passed this tradition on with my children. Christmas time I get on CZcams and find a couple of Christmas specials. The kids love it!
(They really don't though).
But I know that when I am no longer with them, they will have some fun memories to reminisce about.
Hey KC really love your personality mix with Jocelyn. Jocelyn you have another amazing employee.
The aisles at the Goodwills down here in central Texas are not color-coded like they are in your area. They segregate according to the type of thing, like baskets together, glasses together, etc. Just FYI.
I am checking out your older trips and I love your new camera even more, tyvm
Hahahahahaha! Poor Mowgli!!! I love watching the items you decide to take! ✌🏻
LOL, my parents watched Lawrence Welk every week too. My uncle was a band leader in Chicago and received yearly Christmas cards from Lawrence Welk.
I believe the beautiful lid you and Casey picked up then put back on the shelf as part of a cheese tray set. I believe the plate you took it off of was the other part if the set.
I think you should have picked up the "cracked ice" celluloid hairbrush and trinket box. They can bring very good money. Your butterflies were sold by Home Interiors. I had the blue set back in the 80's.
Yes. I said Home Interior .Quite popular in the day! I loved mine.
I love old christmas music on vinyl too Casey. My husband restores vintage hi-fi stereos, so we listen to a lot of vinyl.
Does he sell any of the hi-fi's? If so, what are the price ranges? Thx
I love the restaurant ware. I'm considering switching my everyday to RW if I can find a pattern I really like. Great shopping trip!
I love this . I have watched nearly all and liked your videos. I told friends and they are now watching you too. You are doing the videos right. Love Andrew and kids. I'm addicted now. Going to goodwill tomorrow. I live in middle Tennessee.usa
My mother made the beige and brown crochet and it was for round tables dinning. Living room. Then put a heavy clear plastic on top it's beautiful
I love that restaurant ware, great finds!
I have a set of those butterflies and i love them! They are going to be going in my daughter's room. I even have the lamps / candle ones.
The plate set is beautiful. Good score
I grew up watching Lawrence Welk with my grandma too! 💛🥰
Don't apologize for having good taste in music! Good music stands the test of time and continues to be enjoyable. My family did the same thing and I did not like it then, but I find myself watching it on PBS, ever so often. Brings back lovely memories.
just bout cried when you passed on that brush and powder box for 2.99, hand mirror and brush sets are all i collect and i would’ve taken that in a heartbeat and probably freaked out in the store lol
Thought the same about a different item.. :( sadly im from Germany and its difficult here to find a good thriftstore
I found a celluloid set and a pewter? Set at an antique store awhile ago
Enjoyed your haul video. I saw a lot of nice vintage items you passed on. I would love to shop behind you. However keep up the treasure hunts. Look forward to your live hauls.
I love Lawrence Welk. I grew up listening to him. Also love Christmas music and the albums❤️❤️
We watched it every Sunday , I think.
I love the three coffee mugs, they are so 70's.
Nice tri-pod!!! Great find.
That goodwill was very well stocked, loved some of theirs products! You went at a good time, apparently. ✌🏼❤️
Love the butterflies at the end. Fun finds ❤️
Thanks for your efforts to update us Michael.
I am sold happy you picked up the pottery canisters . I actually had them and donated them when I moved to the coast . They were expensive when I purchased them about 25 yrs ago.
FYI. Lamouse was originally made in the USA New York City. Then the owner moved his company to France just so you know the USA mark on his pieces are highly desirable by collectors.
Loved this video.
Thank you for continuing to share it.
God bless.
I love that's videos. Charity shops are closed in Wales so this is fun. I'm always looking in your videos for stoneware.
I would have used the Mowgli beer cup for morning coffee
Sometimes, for personal use, those plastic frames can be very helpfull for old walls. My house is ancient and with one tap of a hammer, I hear plaster crumbling inside the walls! I have to be creative when hanging things on the walls!🦜🦜🦜
National Artcraft sells the handles for that dish. They sell all kinds of supplies for ceramic arts.
I live in a beach town and would have loved the flamingo ice bucket!!
Love watching your hauls ! I’ve recently been interested in thrifted more vintage pieces. I’m not very knowledgeable though! Also LOVE your color street nails❤️💅🏼
I Love going to the Goodwill with you!!💙💚💚💙
Always love your videos..... wish we had Goodwill type stores here in the UK..... our charity shops are so tiny by comparison..... keep thriving. 🐦🐦🐦🐦🐦🦆🦆🦆
Kris Osullivan It’s kind of a double edge sword, it’s nice to find it when you’re shifting and flipping but just imagine how much crap Americans use and throw away every day in order for Goodwill to have it’s shelves stocked, I have a love-hate relationship with Goodwill. On the one hand it’s great to be able to go and buy secondhand and not have everything end up in the landfill, on the other hand our consumer society is choking the planet (and Goodwill, if it doesn’t sell, it goes to the landfill)
I would have bought that hair brush set and i love lucy purse.what a haul.nice
Pier one is closing so in 20 years it will be vintage
I’m from Texas,,,,,from “Texas with love”....❤️
The restaurant ware is awesome!
Smart buys. You did it again. 😄❤️
Old Lawrence Welk shows are still being aired on our local PBS station. I know a young family who watches regularly.
OMG. I cant believe someone else watched Lawerence Welk with grandparents. My grandma would always say. His first language is not English.
She spoke 5 languages.
Also had to watch Hee Haw
Yikes
Love those dishes with the yellow trim. You got a really nice haul. tfs
You go girl! Great haul!
How OLD is your friend? I am 63, and when I was a little girl, we had to watch Lawrence Welk when grandma came to babysit on a Saturday night. She would have me stand on her feet, and we would dance around the room...the bubbles were flowing! I did not particularly enjoy the experience at the time...but now it is a precious memory! Thanks for posting your fun and informational vids!
Great haul! Great total spend!❤❤❤🙏🙏🙏
Awwww, I love me some Corelli crazy daisy!!
I love the bird houses
The stacking espresso cups fetch quite a bit, especially if made in Italy
SO GLAD YOU BOUGHT THE RESTAURANT WARE!!!!!
OMG had those strawberry mugs 40+years ago. Great haul
The green frosted bowl that you picked up at Morgantown glass Morgantown west Virginia very pricey piece
Oh wow i love those
Love your color street nail strips ❤
I ordered my shirt I’m so excited to get it!!!😍
Okay, so KC got me with Lawrence Welk!! That was awesome!
Fun to watch you and KC thrift. Impressed with KC being able to set like that looking for her Christmas music. Last time I tried that at GWill I couldn't stand back up . . . got resourceful since a pile of pool noodles was next to me. I grabbed what I needed to kneel on took a deep breath and managed to stand up without the breakables on the shelves. PS your GWs are so much nicer than most I venture through. I have learned so much from you and SueMe and your crews. Keep your heart open the world needs more people like you and yours.
I can totally relate! Getting old sucks! Lol. But I have good time and laugh it off!🦜🦜🦜
Your a Sucker for Owls, Birds, Fox's, Naughty Dogs. I'm a Sucker for anything w/ a Bird House!!!! "Yes Please"!
Love, love, love Watching you and your excitement.
That pink and white blanket is called a Mile a Minute stitch.
Good call on the restaurant ware!!
Great finds love the Afghans!!!
I love restaurant ware!!!
Disney would never put Mogli on a beer stein as long ago as Jungle Book came out. They won't sell shot glasses. However, their toothpick holders sure look a lot like shot glasses. And they never used to sell booze, but now it's everywhere.
You walked right past a Nancy Noel print. She's a thing. I collect her work. The one you missed was the little Amish boy, straw hat. With a frog in his hands. I bet you could have gotten $25 for it.
You passed up that ceramic, chocolate/strawberry, cake server thingy and I was cringing because I am absolutely obsessed with these decorative servers, pie ones also!!! There are always a plentiful supply of them in the GW and you would die if you saw my China Closest, I have rows and rows of them!! I know, Wow a little obsessed but for some reason collecting them actually give me some sort of joy? You should always grab them there is a market for, if not they would look so pretty in your booth!!!
Have a wonderful day! Blessings to you, Andrew, Ashton and Juliette. I love your videos.
Can’t believe (at 14:45) they have those sharp knives right at child height! Or for sale at all! Knives here (UK) are sold so securely!
In a society saturated with guns, I guess some are desensitized to lesser hazards. Probably an oversight.
It depends on the store. My Goodwill sells them at the counter in glass cases unless they are everyday flatware knives that won't cut much of anything. I have seen some stores wrap the blade in thin cardboard and tape them up.
Great haul!
I could go crazy Christmas shopping at the Goodwill's you go to. Mine is sad.
Job security! She keeps helping you feel up your cart.
Lol. Good one!
Funny that bird mug my mom had a set of those!
Goodwill is selling a lot of their items online after seeing videos where people are re-selling the items. My local Goodwill sells broken, chipped, and cracked. If I want anything decent, I have to go online to the Goodwill site to make a purchase.
I wish we had these stores in the uk
I just bought the Texas creamer! It's now March 2021.
Nice haul!! 👍
That is a nice pattern on the restaurant ware.
Hello great finds love your videos....
At 08:06 I think you missed a blue with white seagulls Otagiri mug/soup bowl! You were distracted by the flowered canister set!🤣
I saw it. I just couldn’t do the single.
Could you save some of the hard to ship stuff for your shop, or in person pick up like Facebook marketplace? Thanks for the content!!
I don't know how it works over in the states, In Britain you can contact courier companies for a price on shipping.I have a standard shipping price for anywhere in Europe £6 for anything/size and weight up to 10kg if I used the postal service it would be at least 5x that
3:44 Paltzgraff Pistolet - I wish I had that piece to add to my collection!
