I just did a bible study on that! Where we have hope, it's the harbinger of our victory! Once you lose hope, you give up, you let go. Good one! Don't lose hope folks. Our Hope rests in our joy, and the Joy of the Lord is our strength! 👍👏
I agree, and we must remember that we are holding onto Christ as our standard and hope, because when we hold onto our own standards and hope, which is very possible, even as a Christian, we will lose our hope and standards easily.
Exactly, you should just tell God in your mind what your looking for in man/woman and wait every now in then go back and check the list. Because the enemy will send an a imitation. Also if you are waiting till marriage , definitely dont settle. Oh yeah and dont be like well we engage so now i can sleep with him /her , because i ve seen circumstances where the people get engaged have sex with partner , and they dont wind up married. So now you got this soul tie, that is extremely hard to get over and these urges you never really had before. I mean think about it all the time and not experience it , its very easy to abstain . But once you get an unholy soul tie , it gonna be so hard its like being a drug addict. So definitely wait for marriage, and ask God for help in getting married and waiting.

Can I tell you sis, there are so many men who take waiting on God seriously, I know many who I call my friends. Its just that the media bombards us with the other side of the story. Another thing is men express purity differently to women but they exist. Pray to God to be surrounded by them.
@@pamodzichitsonga6901 Interesting! Are they in your church? I can only think of one ministry I've ever been involved in where men out numbered women. In all the others it's been a 2:1 ratio at best!
I'm a 29 year old man who's been waiting on God and waiting until marriage practically my whole life. We are still here and around. I've faced some temptations to pull away and do my own way, cuz sometimes the waiting and longing can be a bit unbearable. But I fear God and I don't want to hurt the person I love so much.
You would be surprised fam, I have run into a good amount of men who are virgins and waiting until marriage to have sex. It's just that mainstream media makes it look like everybody is participating in hookup culture and that is not true.

The mother is dressed very inappropriate for older woman or woman... and she looks tacky.. like dirty, grimy, cigarette smoker.. she looks evil not like her sons.... deceptive and that haircut, Booby cut shirt not helping her. She not 20.. doesn't dress with class either
As a women who has struggled with lust since childhood.. it is so important to have these conversations with not just your sons but also your daughters, and from a young age!

I struggled with a lust addiction starting at 3 yrs old until about 45 to various degrees via a curse thru the womb on my father's side, I wish my family would have been more accepting and open to purity and these convos, it was taboo...

When my son was confirmed at age 14, he asked the pastor to witness for him after the service as he knelt at the altar and pledged his purity to God. He promised to wait until his wedding night. And he kept that vow! He also married a virgin. Their first anniversary is tomorrow and I've never seen such a happy, committed couple! God truly blessed their union! I am so proud of him!

Making sex a sensitive topic won't help but build rebellion in the kids. Kids at a certain age needs to be taught about this topic as it will give them awareness of what is coming. Thank you for this, I wish I had the same convo with my parents when I was young but glad Jesus set me free from all the struggles.

One of my best friends is entering his 40s and he still has this standard. I am so proud of him. He is a fire ball for God the keeping of your purity really does enhance your connection in relationship with God. It’s a pain, but it’s worth it.

I have been celibate for the last 3 years.. as a Christian I dedicated my whole life to God,.... I joined church doing Gods works I interceded for singles in the same state I was in I preached the gospel and still doing these things,.... righteousness and holiness Next month will be my introduction ceremony and October my wedding ... to a godly man . I'm a mom of young girls ONLY (10, 8, 6) . How you are equipping your sons with the amour of God is a beautiful testament of your genuine trust in the Lord.
Know as a mother of 2 sons, they look and look for girls who dress appropriate...hard to find. My boys are great looking and it is a rare girl that dresses right to start a relationship off to begin with. Hard to find no drama...hard to find Godly girls these days...pray your 3 walk in His ways.
My girls are 11, 9 n 6 n i worry for the generation of boys these days. This has so much restored my faith that godly boys do exist in this generation. I wish i saw more of these. I wisk young people are taught how to guard their sexuality. ❤ Going to the bathroom with the door open. Thats new, but thats accountability.

I think it's very admirable that Alec waited on kissing. Not many people can say that and it's often looked down upon. It's refreshing to hear someone else is committed and waiting on God. Young men of God seem scarce these days. Seeing these men gives me hope. I'll keep waiting on God's timing.

Proud mom.... blessing to have such sons. Parents must have put in a lot to lay the foundation for their sons considering they were travelling . It does not automatically happens. Parents take heed!
So true… this is the fruit of God’s favor, their efforts in intentional parenting, strong communication with their sons, grounded in lots of travail in prayer over the years. It doesn’t just happen.
This video actually gave me a lot of hope. I’m a woman who has struggled with pornography (mostly erotica) and has only recently (within the last year) been set free so I know the damage it can cause. I have never been in a relationship and I was beginning to despair that I wouldn’t ever find a man with this kind of strength, that “all the good ones” were already gone. I have been having more hope as of late and waiting in patience on the Lord to fully heal me and bring someone into my life, and this conversation has helped convict me that there may still be a man out there and that I shouldn’t lose hope and settle out of fear for someone who doesn’t show me the proper respect and love that God has revealed to me I am worth. Thank you very much for having this conversation and posting it and I wish you all the best in your lives and future relationships. Your future wives will be lucky women for sure!
Don't settle fam, stay true to your value and beliefs. I have run into quite a few men who are virgins and waiting for marriage to have sex. You just continue to draw closer to God and ask Him to make you over into His image. And spend much time in prayer and ask God to send you a God fearing man.
The Bible says that the more time you spend in prayer with God the more you become like Him and the stronger you get to overcome your sinful nature. Double up, even triple up if you need to during your prayer life. And watch God do a wonderful work in you. God bless you

I’m a married woman to a man that repented of pornography in the midst of our dating relationship. I’m so glad you guys brought up the fact that it destroys your marriage before you’re even in it. My husband and I have had to work through so much and still struggle at times to stay above the rubble left behind. Protect your marriage from the start! I have a son, and I love the open communication lines you had with your sons.

I was in the same boat except he was in it before our marriage from the age of 7 and when we first got married. It lead to cheating which eventually got revealed. It was a hard time but him seeing how devastating it was on me and our marriage lead to him seeking repentance and deliverance from spirits of lust and perversion brought on him from molestation and exposure at a young age. What was a trial turned into a testimony for our marriage and for him. I'm currently 6 months pregnant with a boy and it's so encouraging to see how open and productive this discussion is, I pray that we carry this in our lives to be open and honest with our child 🙏 prayers for you and your family as well ❤❤

Godly parents, especially a good father who lives out His faith in front of His children, teaching them every day about Life and walking with God are the most important thing children can have. I thank God often that my children had that. I wish everyone did.
This is beautiful and so rare that men actually make this decision. There are some men who are raised with a Christian upbringing who don’t make the choice of sexual purity. The transparency of all of you is blessing, especially since this topic still seems to be taboo in the church. There needs to be more discussions about this topic.

As a single young lady in the Lord, I feel so encouraged and feel like, there ARE men out there who love God, love their future spouse, and want to have good morals. a great mom who has raised 4 great men, bless them, it's so refreshing and hopeful to see a family discuss ethics and values in a world where promecuity is becoming the new norm.
It makes me sad because as a boy raised in a Christian family I was never exposed to pornography inside the home, and it wasn't talked about either. The first time I heard about stuff like that was at school, classmate were watching porn IN CLASS (during lesson) and I was 13 too(currently 23). So the fact that other people's children can pollute the minds of kids unbeknownst to parents is sad and quite scary. I fell into masturbation during the same period and was too ashamed to talk about it with anyone, until God delivered me from it 4 years ago.
I will make sure to educate my children on sex rather early so that I can tell them all there is to know, and so they feel comfortable coming to me for advices. Because when my mom got the courage to ask if I was practicing it, I was already 1/2 years clean…so a bit too late imo...

Idk how to explain it but I can see in their faces and eyes the purity they have 🥹🥹 when it comes to this topic even if they’re already married or whatever. Have you ever noticed how heavy and burdened ppl become and the sorrows you can almost see in one’s face when they have been used and manipulated and heartbroken. I have a son and I’m expecting another boy in September so it’s encouraging to hear this from different perspectives. I think that sexual purity doesn’t stop once you get married and some men still struggle with pornography and sexual immorality even in marriage, so I think talking about sexual purity within a context of marriage is still important. Would love to hear about that!

My daughter loves Jesus and is staying pure until marriage. She has found it so difficult to find men that want the same thing. She goes to church, is in small groups etc…. And the men are nit serious about their purity. It makes me so sad! She is a gorgeous ( not by my standards, but anyone’s standards) young lady. 23 years old . Very smart ( of course all moms think their child is beautiful and smart). If I didn’t think my daughter would be horrified, I would post a picture here 😆
I keep praying that God will have a godly man for her that values Gods ways in all he does…. Just like my daughter…..but, I get discouraged sometimes.

This was beautiful! A rare n candid conversation between a mom and her sons. Scripture speaks of 144,000 young virgins (men) who will be preserved during the worst time on esrth. God is always watching us to see what's in our hearts.
Lisa, thank you so much for this much needed ministry. I was literally just asking God for such a resource and happened upon this today. Thanking God that He cares about every aspect of our children’s lives.
The hardest part about growing up in a Christian home was that my parents didn't openly ask me questions like this because they believed I was doing everything right; at least that is what I assumed they thought. I think it has a lot to do with them being unaware how easy it is to look at pornography and how easy it is to cover your tracks, it is everywhere. I've struggled with this for a decade now and it's my biggest downfall.
I’d love to be a boy mom someday, just like you and I pray God helps me to raise them right, raise them as kings that invade cities and takeover kingdoms for God. Amen!

Lisa you are so blessed. 2 of my 3 grown children are still pure. Not out of honor for God, but they have always been very shy of the opposite sex. The one who is not suffers terribly with mental illness. I just pray that they all turn to walk with the Lord, and find Godly spouses some day.

This is so encouraging. First of all, to see such wholesome young men gives me hope they are not extinct. :) Secondly, as a part of an anti-human trafficking prevention program, we teach young people about the connection between pornography and human trafficking. It's not a Christian teaching per se, but it explains really well what pornography does to the brain (dopamine effect etc), how a person is influenced by what they see in pornography, how that ties into the trafficking part. It's a connection I had never seen before.

I tend to lower my standard before because I was hopeless but thank God he made me put me in a situation to realize things and still being pure.
Wish more than anything I had someone pouring this into me teaching me along the way, the shame and regret and guilt is suffocating I wish I could go back and do everything right 😢❤ thank you Lord for forgiveness it’s hard to forgive yourself and the ballon analogy was spot on it makes you feel so empty when you give yourself away to people
I understand where you're coming from. Believe me. But Jesus didn't come for the healthy saint, He came for the sick in sin...and there are more who need His healing then not. Sadly enough! From my own experience, the closer your relationship gets to Jesus Christ, following His leading, taking up the Truth in scripture, the more healing you will experience 💛
As to the guilt and shame and emptiness, the feeling of haven given your worth away...I just thought about the encounter of Jesus with the Samaritan woman at the well. (John 4:26) She was a foreigner, to that a woman and had quite a bit of sexual impurity in her life....and Jesus approached this broken woman and shared the first time openly that He was the Messiah💛 Can it get more beautiful, more loving and more hopeful. There is no hint of accusation or shaming from Jesus to this woman...He came for such a broken soul and life as she had! .... although of course she needed to turn her life around....
I was like this broken woman and Jesus has absolutely transformed my life!!! It's taken time, but I am not who I was!
Be blessed💛 If we walk close to Jesus, leaning on His strength and guidance, we will overcome all sin, death and satan! Because Jesus IS already victor! He loves us so much! 💛🙏
If you confess your sin, God is faithful and just to forgive your sin. 1 John1:9. Don't beat yourself up, we all have sinned. Now, look to God and ask Him to come into your heart and to make you into His image. Increase your prayer life tenfold and study your Bible more. Doing these things bring peace to the soul.
I find the more time I spend in prayer and studying the Bible the more peace and comfort comes over me. And before you study the Bible, pray and ask God to send the Holy Spirit to give you discernment and understanding before you study it. Ask God to give you the strength to not look back at your past failures, but ask Him to give you the strength and power and desire to put God first in your life. If you put God first in your life, then He will take care of the rest.
trust me fam, you just start to spend more time in prayer and studying the Bible and watch God move in your life in wonderful ways. I am a living witness to that, ever since I gave my heart too and invited God into my life. He has done some wonderful and miraculous things for me and my family.

This is so helpful. I also have 4 boys (and 1 girl) and honestly, raising 4 boys to be pure in this culture terrifies me. My boys are 5 and under but I have already started talking to my children about sex. I heard about sex in first grade from a neighbor! And that was in the early 90s.
I am so nervous as well. I only have one son but God willing I could have more. And sexual purity is what intimidates me.
Nowadays, in this society we must invite God into our hearts to guide us and our children. Everyday lift your kids up to the Lord in the morning and ask Him to protect them and guide them throughout the day. Also dedicate your children to the Lord and ask Him to Use them for His will and purpose. Ask the Lord to put a protective hedge around them everyday, and keep them safe from the Devil.
I dedicated my daughter to the Lord when she was a little girl and the Lord has done so many wonderful things in her life and mine. He has provided and protected us in this wicked world, and has done miraculous things for us. He will do the same for you and your kids if you invite Him to come into your hearts and abide with you.
God says, behold, I stand at the door and knock, if any man opens it, I will come in and abide with him and he with Me. So open up your hearts to God and ask Him to lead and guide your paths, only God can lead you and your family safely in this world. With little prayer comes little power, but with much prayer comes much power. God bless you.

I love this. I recently found out that my 12 year old son's friend told him to look up Naked Women on Google which brought him to pornhub. As a mom, I felt sick knowing that he had been watching that stuff for a month. I thought he was just playing games on his tablet. I wish I would have talked to him about sex earlier. The sucky part is that his first time learning about sex was through porn hub. The worst way possible. This discussion has helped so much. Just knowing that it's something all boys struggle with.

These young men are so inspiring and give me hope. I have one more niece not married (26) and four great nieces growing up. This gives me hope for them. I have prayed for all 7 of them for their future husbands since they were born. The older three already have wonderful husbands.

Finally a mother who is not afraid to talk about this sensitive topic. Just a few days ago there was an article in the news in Israel that pornography is becoming sex education for children close to the age of 11.. It's terrible that the parents don't know about it or know and think there's nothing to do, that's the world. They need to take responsibility as parents and educate their children!! The mother in the video inspires and helps to overthrow the taboo that blocks proper sexual education that starts at home, from the parents

Thank you! I’m a first time mom of a 1 year old and my husband and I talk about how we are going to handle these conversations and help keep our son on a pure path. I love listening to men my age have an open discussion about what a blessing it is to be pure for your spouse. Such great role models for young men

Thank you Lord for sending me this video! I have a little boy, and I know it’s probably too early to be thinking about this, but I’m always envisioning how I want my son to turn out when he’s older. I get really anxious thinking about navigating the teenage into adult years, and I’ve always wanted to ask men who remained chaste how they got through it and continued to walk in faith. This video is inspiring and gives me hope and a better idea of how I can be proactive about this with my own kids
