- We've finally got an official update from the XDefiant team and unfortunately we STILL don't have a release date. We will be seeing a new 12 hour test session coming soon. They didn't give us a release date for that either.

it was never delayed "again" people taking that executives paper way too serious. it was a target/forecast. it was never ever a guarentee. So many content creators spreading misinformation that just creates such a toxic environment and ironically killing off the game they want to play so badly before its even released.

Nah. If your game isn't ready for show time, don't even bother. This game is going to be popular for a couple of weeks, and people are going to leave it.

Na they shoulda been ready, why even open your mouth numerous times, if you not ready for show time like somebody said don't bother. I been here since day one, to have THIS many delays, na just cancel it. I'm so sick & tired of this piece a 💩 company & this game anymore. The only game I wanted for years, I am now so disgusted whenever I see or hear anything about it anymore. One or two delays is fine, if it released in October fine but to be TBA, then confirm a window just to still not be ready just shows how incompetent they really are. Everybody want them to delay forever until it's "perfect" when no game is perfect & nobody will wait forever, when this game dies quick AF because people no longer care, don't be mad at the community.
Only chance they got if no other free fun games come out, otherwise, I don't see them surviving & to be honest, they don't need a good loyal fan base, they don't deserve us gamers.
This game was super fun to play in beta but that beta was like over a year ago lmao

i don’t even think it’s his fault. COD has been on a decline for years which has affected his channel. i’m sure his views will pick up once the next COD releases

Biggest issue is constant delays, like just stop setting a date till the game is actually ready and works. Which can be done by just directly giving monthly tests sessions.

We get a free game that the devs put so much work in listening to the community yet everyone is pissed because their tiktok brains are not able to handle waiting a bit longer so we get a better game. It's honestly a good step in right direction of devs and publisher putting quality over timeline. That's how great titles are made.

I really hope the full game is great. Only downside is that the launch has to be perfect. People will be turned off from the game if it has major issues after being delayed for so long.

In the next two months the whole Xdefiant team and mark rubin will go quiet and we’re not gonna get a play test or a release date and then the game gets delayed again and again and again and then gta 6 will be out before Xdefiant

During the BETA we were unable to actually move the hud to fit the screen. Hopefully that is fixed in the next session. It drove me crazy too

This game first missed Summer 2023 release window then, 2023 release window and then March 2024 release. Trust me dude, if this was Activision they would have already launched a buggy messed game.
Id rather have a polished game more than a unfinished game
If this game ever releases:
It will be more buggy than any COD has ever experienced.
It will only have a minor player base, that will probably return to COD at some point.
The movement will stay as weird feeling as it did during its "beta". (Which, if you watch the game play, you can absolutely see how strange it is)
But the reality is, it's not going to come out.

My question is why are so many people boasting and giving this game undeserved love when you had games like Splitgate and other indie shooters get bashed cause of their issues? is it because it is getting funded by Ubisoft?
