SHG has always held a “black sheep” soft spot in my CoD heart. Yeah it’s expected when they mess up but when I like what they’re doing, especially on the 6v6 side, I’m happy for them.
I agree, love all the new maps SHG has created, they play well, look great and good sizes for AR’s, smg’s and snipers. Especially love emergency.

I completely agree. Sledgehammer have done an amazing job with the shitty hand they've been dealt for this game, and almost all of the problems with this game's multiplayer are either carryovers from MW2 last year or franchise-wide problems caused by Activision themselves that SHG has no say in. MW3 is a high tier (but not quite top tier) CoD MP experience for me.
It’s easily the best modern Call of Duty next to Cold War.
Just commenting to say I agree. MW3 MP is the best MP we've had since Bo2 if you ask me. Cold War got close, but even it's maps aren't as good as MW3's Maps... damn, some of these DLC Maps are instant classics! But, i'd still say Cold War was more overall good, only because it had a much better Campaign and Zombies, but MW3 has a better MP experience (despite questionable weapon balance) then again, having 100+ weapons is extremely hard to balance i'd imagine and- as you even said and I agree, this was Activision's decision, not Sledgehammer's.

Vanguard was more of a miss than a hit but SHG proved itself to be a much better developer than IW since WWII came out in terms of quality, quantity and communication
WW2 was a terrible game while sledgehammer was in charge it wasn’t until raven software came along and changed the game then it finally became good, so no sledgehammers handling of WW2 did nothing but prove they suck
@@Slaqin You're incorrect, it was Sledgehammer working on WW2's MP the whole time. The turning point was the studio heads Condrey and Schofield leaving, so at that point the studio stopped being stubborn in sticking to their original design choices and overhauled the game for the better.

@@Slaqin WW2 was never terrible, let's not overhate here. It was a decent-ish game that had some big flaws for sure and felt too by-the-book, but it wasn't a bad game, just mid if anything. At least it felt like it had it's own identity though. Even though I don't hate Vanguard, I gotta say, that game has so little Identity considering the idea for it is literally "Let's do MW 2019 but with faster movement and WW2" it doesn't feel original almost at all. The only things that felt original about it were never carried to future COD Games like that Patrol Gamemode or Combat Pacing. Cool things like that were left by the wayside, making the game feel even more unoriginal, unfortunately.
Yeah iw fell off heavily after MW 2019. I was really looking forward to MWII because I thought it would take all the good parts of MW 2019 and fix the bad parts but instead they just made all the good parts much worse.

I really appreciate that real effort was put into multiplayer after years of less & less. I just wish I had more time to play. Hopefully, this continues in future cods.

I've loved this season, good maps decent weapons and fun amp's. I'm kinda worried for next season as I'm not really bothered about the spas 12 if that does come back next season and I'm not a fan boy crying about the Kar98k coming back. I just hope there is good enough content next season

Haven’t played MP this much in a while
Standard multiplayer this season has been a blast. All the maps brought in the game play extremely well. The biggest complaint I have seen is that ranked is filled with game breaking bugs that allow people use unfair items. (Like a UAV, minigun, and suppressor attachment)
I 100% agree I think SHG is a saving grace! And I think they have always been overshadowed by introducing jet packs or short dev times but they are always listening and bringing new and innovative ideas!!

Multiplayer is absolutely miserable for me. The sbmm is so bad that in search my team will be up a couple rounds and then the bad players on my team leave so I have to play a 3v6 against people my skill level. It happens every game. Very discouraging
It sucks that all the goodwill and care and effort SHG puts in can be ruined by such a disgusting and manipulative system designed only for player retention. It's sad how desperate current day CEO's have become to try and squeeze every ounce of money they can out any IP that's still barely breathing. If MW3 didn't have that SBMM bullshit, it would be a top tier COD (Multiplayer Wise, anyways) but... of course, it's always the publishers and CEO's that ruin everything about a game that should be a slam dunk.

Ngl, I think MW3 could be one of the best COD games in awhile. Not the best game all time, but a top 5 game for sure.

MWZ has more replay value. If it’s just Round Based all next year and beyond and we never see a Zombies like we have now, Zombies will probly be dead to me again. Once I do the Easter Egg in Round Based Maps I never played them again. With MWZ I feel like I can choose how I want to play just slightly different. Plus I’m not stuck on a Map, I can’t go to different locations and harder locations. MWZ has really been great.
I disagree. Depending on how good the map is for round based it’s way more fun. I’m the total opposite where I find the MWZ gameplay soooo boring. Just literally doing the same things to land in and do contracts just to gain enough money to go into the hard locations: and even after you have everything unlocked there’s really no reason to play the game at all. The higher tier zones only just means that the zombies run way faster than you and just do more damage which is just annoying or you get spammed with manglers or stuff like that. I have more replay-ability in a round based if it’s good. That’s me though as I see you have more fun on MWZ.

MW3 2023 is the only campaign I will never play. Aside from Bo4 because it was cut in favor or a BR. Really sad, been playing cod since like 03-05. Whenever the one on the OG Xbox came out. Anyway, games are not the same anymore. All the passion and effort devs pour into these games is all overshadowed by corporate greed algorithms. So sad
I wish we can get a new battle map cause I spend most of my time on ground war and invasion but since launch, we still don't have a new map and I do get tired of playing on the same three.

For me I'm happy you're happy with the game. That's great. I just can't justify playing an experience no matter how much free and earnable content there is when my matchmaking and gameplay experience is manipulated to the degree that it is. Not to mention the only recent transparency they've brought explaining it.

I started playing cod the year mw3 came out and I quit cod the same year mw3 came out. SHG has done great with content and feature, gotta give credit where it is due. Unfortunately, the focus on warzone, players sweaty mindsets, and activisions EOMM has been the biggest factors that I’ve been fed up with. I want to like cod but I can’t anymore

The camo grind sucks in this game but thats pretty much my only issue. everything else multiplayer wise is pretty good.

I’ve enjoyed every SHG CoD’s except for WW2. AW is my favorite CoD ever made. They’ve always been better than IW and Treyarch to me 🤷♂️

I think what's been ruining cod lately is just the community everyone is so miserable lately and the people who actually think differently and enjoy things are put down for their opinions i think mw3 is a pretty decent cod and this season was pretty good
They still need to fix the operators selection. My favorite operator in this game is evil makerov and the game keeps switching over to a different operator when a new game is about to start. It pisses me off.

I hope we never get another IW game again. Its crazy how people still talk about how good IW is and trash talk Sledgehammer. Sledgehammer makes games for the playerbase and actually listen and make changes and give content, IW makes games for themselves and never compromise
100% agree. I didn't wanna go that hard against IW, but i genuinely agree. Idk if I can handle another MWII. It was actual pain just how much IW felt like they legitimately wanted us to suffer. It's their way or the highway and I just... I was appalled by IW's response to the MWII Beta Feedback. I felt like that was truly the nail in the coffin for MWII, before it even launched, and a signal to us that "hey, if you think you're getting a good COD game, by a caring and competent dev team, turn back now and cancel that pre-order, cuz it ain't happenin' this year."
Yeah the studio fell off so badly after MW 2019. All they had to do for MWII was do MW 2019 again but fix the issues the game had such as map design.
Instead they just made all the good parts from MW 2019 way worse and MWII as a whole was just a massive downgrade in almost every way
SHG do well with what they're given, but when you're given shit and expect to "fix" shit, it's still going to be shit if the core base is shit. They have done well with content in MW III, but the base game still being MW19 DLC v3 is what is ruining the franchise. Each dev needs their own engine again like we had before 2019, and with Treyarch using this MW engine I have no hope for that game either.

The player base doesn't all want the same thing which is why we will still get Infinity Ward games too.
I dont think sledgehammer has ever made a bad multiplayer based on content. Its just that in my opinion, their style doesnt work in a ww2 setting. If treyarch made vanguard i think it could've slapped. Sledghammer is great for modern or near future games

I feel the opposite. With the OP knives and them adding ANOTHER one this season as well as the ludicrously moronic idea of giving the MORS an infinite one shot kill attachment I gave up on the game. Not fun for an SnD player like me.
Restored your faith in COD the fact this game has the worst weapon balancing by far and thematically makes as much sense as COD Mobile taking a piss on the Modern Warfare saga adding stuff from Advance Warfare and Black Ops in the next season.

I might be in the minority here, but I hate seeing these silly characters running around the map. Skeletor, Cheech n Chong, Giant cats...I used to think it was cool but now it's too much.
It takes me out of the game completely. Cod has never been about actual realism but the esthetic kept me immersed enough to pretend it was an actual war
Exactly, it takes you out of the game when you see the villain from Diablo IV running around shotgunning people.
I prefer more grounded skins too, but I have no problem with the bundles they've added. IMO, realism is vastly overrated. If people want to pay money to make themselves more visible to the enemy with bright colored outfits, that's on them.
I hate that MW2 has corrupted the community to the point that people who want realism have a voice that isn’t immediately laughed at.

While I'm glad people are enjoying MW3, honestly its been a sour experience for me. Gameplay wise it doesn't really fit what I enjoyed about the old games, and there's too much FOMO with all of the events. I think overall I've had the opposite experience, its taken me out of multiplayer.

Lets actually see a synopsis of the CoD cycle and how Infinity Ward and Treyarch are so unreceptive and bad with feedback. Sledgehammer is gifted dangerous or otherwise difficult projects.
Sledgehammer has done a great job salvaging projects that other studios seem to have dropped. Treyarch and Infinity Ward have lost my trust as developers and I do not wish to play games where either are head studio devs anymore. (Zombies is done by treyarch. or was picked up...)
I'm tired of people saying "WE'RE SO BACK" only to spend 70 dollars and repeated battle pass purchases for nothing. We are not back and the next treyarch game will be a flop.
I still wish I could turn cross play off. Playing with PC players sucks.

No new map no new mode. Same guns no update. Game should release once. Keep it consistent. Remove line spawn, stop changing things. Stop these rainbow characters. If you good you good. Not cuz u play 50 hours a day unlocked an attachment that makes u king. It’s all money grab, op thing in season pass, nerfed by the time everyone gets it.

Quit schilling for SHG. They are responsible for some of the most corrupt microtransactions / battlepasses in COD history. Also make terrible campaigns as if they aren't even trying.
In MW3 specifically I hate how they blantantly release overpowered battlepass guns because f*** you give me money! Jak Revenger wasn't even close to balanced and the new kar98 is a Longbow with insane (emphasis on INSANE) improvements to ADS speed, strafe speed and range.
Everything after bo3 has been a decline.
That logic doesn’t make sense, since BO3 was the worst cod ever made, then Treyarch release BO4 which was trash but a little better then BO3 and then they released Cold War which was trash but little better then both BO3 and BO4. Then there was MW2 (2022) that was bad. But any other cod besides those weren’t bad, some were just better than others like Infinite Warfare, Advance Warfare, Ghosts that’s taking into account that the overall experience was good, which includes Campaign, Zombies/Aliens, Multiplayer. But then you have MW2019 which had a great campaign but an alright multiplayer, MW2(2022) Great campaign but terrible multiplayer, MW3 (2023) terrible campaign but great multiplayer, Vanguard which had a great campaign but and ok multiplayer, wasn’t good or bad but terrible zombies, WW2 super boring campaign which wasn’t terrible. But the multiplayer and zombies was ok.

No way someone in their right mind would praise sledgehammer for anything they’re doing in this halfassed game. This cod made me quit cod, I can’t deal with the rainbow vomit skins or the Fortnite approach to the game or the pay to win bundles.
