Me too 😅
@@hunterquate9436 ikr xD
i really hated golum. but without him, mr frodo will not know what to do
I always found him funny. Although, Smeagol turning into Gollum scared the crap out of me. 😂
RIP smeagol. I hope you and the precious finally found peace.
Fun fact; he’s not real. None of this is.
His misery is at an end...
He's in peace
@@Saif-zf9vb neither are your nightmares but you still wake up in a cold sweat dont you?
@@Saif-zf9vb just like your brain i'm afraid
The precious is pure evil, it destroyed him.
Gollum’s story is like drug addiction
The ring is ball of crack.
Smeagol looks at The Ring like the United States Government looks at my paycheck.
And the UK government!😂😂😂
😂😂
Sam really does deserve friend of the year award
The story of Gollum is so incredibly sad. He was just a normal fisherman. A good friend. Then the ring drives him to kill his friend, and takes Smeagols whole life away. And after years, his lust for the ring kills him. Poor guy.
Well, the books mention that Smeagol was a bit of a creep even before the Ring - it just brought out his very worst traits.
@@lunarcultist6214 Oh.....nevermind then 😂
He already look weird even before he saw the ring
@@tunatuna1477 True, but theres a fine line between a weird lookin, little bit creepy fisherman, and a savage creature eating goblins in a cave, havimg such a desire for a ring that he is willing to kill anyone and anything to keep it.
@@fotvorta3702 of course
Imagine the fear in souron's mind from 27:22-28:00, just sitting in baradur watching frodo and golum fighting over his ring in samath naur and screaming oh my god no-no-no-no-no-no stop, don't do it golum, can somebody stop this two idiots.
Even the nazgul don't know who to be afraid of at that moment lol!
Karma for him to make the ring so corrupt in the first place.
Lol panick
He would of had to worn the ring for that to happen. That's not how it went.
I think if anyone could resist the temptation of the One Ring, it would have been Sam. He is a humble Hobbit, he is content with a simple life in the Shire, the Ring offered him nothing he wanted or needed. And nowhere along the journey did he stab Frodo in the back and take the Ring for himself. Even Gandalf doubted he could resist it.
true and though he hesitated when returning the ring to frodo, his look when he gave it to frodo seemed to be filled with pity, knowing what burden it brought on his friend
Sam was tempted but his love and loyalty to Frodo managed to keep him on the right path (just). "Wild fantasies arose in his mind; and he saw Samwise the Strong, Hero of the Age, striding with a flaming sword across the darkened land, and armies flocking to his call as he marched to the overthrow of Barad-dur... He had only to put on the Ring and claim it for his own, and all this could be. "
There was no single hero in the story. The will of the secret fire was enough to defeat sauron.
You cut out the part where Biblo chooses not to kill Gollum out of pity for him, one of the most consequential moments of the story.
GOLLUM EL MAS ORRIBLE 😱🤢🤢🤮🤮
@williamgonzalesmiraya652
@@williamgonzalesmiraya652bruh gollum saved the whole dang realm in the end
If he would’ve killed him then Frodo would’ve kept the ring for himself
Without golum we wouldn’t have won
Gollum was kind of like the anti hero
Gandalf knew this and hoped that the rings destruction would free Smeagol. In the end of rotk there are three eagles that rescue the hobbits from mt doom, one for each of them.
They!
Freedom Prime wow, never saw it like that
Indeed
Gollum is just cute in some of these scenes
I agree in a weird way😅
The Ring, of course, is a perfect metaphor for Addiction.
It serves two metaphors. The first, as you mention, is Addiction. But, the second metaphor is that the ring is a part of Sauron, and Sauron tempts those who see the ring, with whatever they want. What I'm saying is, the Ring is the temptations set by Satan to gain control.
You may think I'm Christianizing the meaning, but also keep in mind that J.R.R. Tolkien was a Roman Catholic by faith, so, it also makes sense.
Ring is the true metaphor of power
The ring is perfect metaphor for money in modern world
@@deepwords6732 Not money. J.R.R. Tolkien was a Roman Catholic: Sauron represents Satan, and the Ring represents his temptations.
what the sigma it's not that deep bots
The fact that Gandalf won’t take the ring is so telling about so many things
Hé just didnt, bc the ring could get more power by him. And that would be bad for the world.
@@jaccokosten7100 yeah hes the most powerful wizard, he could wipe out everyone if he had the ring
the best movie of all..no movie can top it ever.
Agreed
You have really low standards. Its a big blockbuster fantasy and a damn good one. But does it have the character depth, story and acting of The Godfather, Goodfella's Schindler's List, There Will Be Blood, Shawshank Redemtion etc...? Obviously not. The movies stripped the depth of most of the characters

Gollum died for the peace of Middle Earth. Rest in peace, Precious!
He saved Middle Earth.
Well done! All the key moments around the one ring to rule them all.
Thumbs up #100
No it should just be smeagel
With the Ring, the stronger the person or the more power they have, the more the Ring has a hold on them. That is a reason why Isildur was tempted so quickly, why Gandalf dare not touch it, and why Galadriel would become the Queen of Storms.
It's strange because gollum or smeagol is incredibly weak and yet it seems like the ring has the strongest hold on him
@@declanoconnor3445he actually wore the ring tho
@@Marcus-gf5uq no shit😭
@@declanoconnor3445it makes sense tho, because he’s like a will-power weakling that can’t lift a 5 pound weight. Gandalf is like the worlds strongest man, but the weight the ring gives to him is 5,000
Imagine you fall into a deep pit and then you see a dude walks and spits on you, making "Gollum" noises.
I'd be openin' up a can of whoopass! lol
That pit is known as Texarkana Texas and the slobbery dude's name is dirty Mike...its not pleasant.
15:05 I never noticed this detail before that Gollum was likely pretending to be Sméagol in this moment given that his eyes were dim compared to how they usually are when Sméagol is in control.
I wouldn't trust Gollum with a cup of coffee...
This was really well done
I learned something about the consciousness residing within the one ring, it enjoyed being called peoples precious.
Such a brilliant story.
Very nice video...Summons the entire movie around the ring...kudos..
IDK how creepy or weird Smeagol was before the ring, fate has never been crueler to anybody than him.
Excellent edition!!!.
Smeagol face was they most precious asset 😁
I don't understand why Golum was still able to live long after losing the ring but when Bilbo drops it he starts to feel the old age takeover
Gollum held the Ring far longer than Bilbo, and he became much more controlled by it. Its influence over him was greater.
@@AnnaMarianne did his voice always sounds like that?
@@alfredanderson9128 yeah
@@alfredanderson9128 fun fact the inspiration for gollums voice was based on the sound cats make when coughing up a hair ball 😅
@@AnnaMarianne Also, I think Smeagol is more evil (or atleast) than Bilbo. I haven't watched The Hobbit but I think he's just curious but a nice guy so the ring will take him much longer to corrupt his soul. While Smeagol, i think he's much weaker.
3:49 that acting is priceless.
it's amazing how the lotr cgi still looks good and the hobbit cgi has aged terribly badly.
The CGI in The Hobbit made me so depressed. Completely ruined the whole trilogy for me
@@Nick__E2 3rd movie - Legolas / Mario's jumps as the bridge is crumbling almost drove me mad when I saw it in theaters.
I will say that the CGI when Gandalf and the Balrog are falling in LOTR is horrendous now though. The Balrog itself looks fine but Gandolf just isn't blended into the scene well at all. czcams.com/video/DgNrvnY1mo0/video.html Still impressive how the movies hold up overall though.

The ring is one hell of a drug
Do you think Sam would’ve killed Frodo if he had to if it meant destroying the ring? I feel like his tears were also from realizing his friend had lost and was likely gone and he’d have to destroy it

thankfully isildur didnt destroy the ring . else we had to walk out of the theartres in 15 min
Elrond has so little regard for the race of men and believes their strength has failed after isildur fails to destroy the ring, and yet if he had had the ring, he would not have been able to either
Yeah plus he had the chance to take away the Ring from Isildur but he decided to just yell at him lol , I kinda get why Sauron hated the elves , their arrogance is unmatched
The way he hold into the ring and called it "my precious" reminds me of buffalo bill 💀 they both share a very dark energy Lol. I can imagine them both dancing to goodbye horses 🤣
I grew to ❤️Gollum . Thxs. In honor of Ian Holm I’m on here non stop today. May Ian Rest In Peace.
I notice that Gollum also uses precious to address other people including Seamgol. Like at 18:18.

Gollum “yes, precious, she could do it”
At the end true friend was always Sam thanks to him everything was possible! :)

Serkis and Gollum appeared on the 2003 MTV Movie Awards, when Gollum won "Best Virtual Performance" and went on to deliver an obscenity-laden acceptance speech in character, so well received that it won the Hugo Award for Best Dramatic Presentation, Short Form.Wizard magazine rated Jackson's Gollum as the 62nd-greatest villain of all time, from among 100 villains from film, television, comics and video games. In addition, Serkis as Gollum was placed thirteenth on Empire magazine's "100 Greatest Movie Characters of all Time".

@@jeremydyar7566 no, he never owned the ring.
I often wonder if I could resist the One Ring. Not necessarily because I’m pure of heart but because I don’t get what I would get out of it. It turns me invisible and controls the other rings of power. I could rule Middle Earth but is it worth it? I feel like it would be that Robot Chicken Palpatine sketch were it’s just a stressful job with a lot of tedious day-to-day things.
I also think that you don’t HAVE to destroy the Ring in Mount Doom. Assuming you can resist it long enough; you could lock it in a box, lock that box in another box, wrap it in chains, take a boat to the sea and drop it in the deepest trench you can find. It would be impossible for Sauron to get it, he wouldn’t know where it is, and no one could swim that far down. If the box is big enough, and racy enough, the Ring couldn’t manipulate a creature into bringing it to the surface. Melt down the keys for good measure just in case.
Maybe it can manipulate a whale. Whale can eat the box as a whole as a mistake, gets washed up in a shore, someone finds it and then finds the box. Melt the box somehow to reveal it's contents
Its sad that gandalf only brought frodo to the land of the valar to live the rest of their lives there but did not bring sam with them. Frodo miserably failed. It is sam who kept the fight for the destruction of the one ring going until its completion. Without sam, sauron likely would have retrieved the one ring.
Sam eventually did go there, didn't he?
@@Not5id sam didn't go and retired in the land of the valar. sam became like leader in one of the new territory of the hobbits. when sam became old he visited aragorn's kingdom and stay there then eventually died there.
Frodo was already dying Sam had started a new life with a wife and kids.
Sam did go to land of the Valar, cause he also was a ringbearer for some time, helping Frodo when he couldn't in the end. He went there after Rosie has died.
@@bjsalon Sam did follow over the sea eventually. He and his wife Rosie Cotton had 13 children, and Sam was Mayor of The Shire seven times. My favorite movie and all cast is best actor ,actress
I absolutely LOVE the LOTR movies, but the scene where Gollum frames Sam for eating all of their food is so stupid in my opinion! Frodo would never trust Gollum over Sam 😦
As someone who loved the books, that scene angered me so much
the ring probably played with Frodo's mind. Stalling them until he baddies catch on
When Frodo said to Sam “go home” I balled my eyes out😅
I figured it was fatigue, the ring, maybe Frodo already wondered about that, and couldn't help but be a bit suspicious but gave him benefit of the doubt; its Sam. He knows his fellow hobbit...Doesn't he? Gollum played victim, on his doubts, and got frodo to trust him and sam's dislike towards smeagul eventually worked in his favor. Sounds reasonable to me he'd eventually be swayed or manipulated to break off the one person keeping him together...keeping him from being alone with the ring, and the obsessive smeagul. It was really only a matter of time before they got into a big fight anyway; there's only so long before you can't help but snap under the stress and pressure.
it only represents a friendship, it is normal that friends fight and then realize what happened and go through it
