OMC Cobra & Volvo Penta - New Fuel Pump is Misaligned!

Did you just buy a new fuel pump and the original fuel lines won't line up? Did you try to spin the housing around only to find out it won't screw back together because there aren't threads? Check out this video and I got over a great fix to resolve this issue!

The last time I checked the original style Carter pumps were available for both the Ford engines and my '88 4.3 over at either Jeg's or Summit racing. The trick is to go over to Carter's website and look up their actual part number for the pump. I also found a Sierra one that fit and worked perfect.

I need ur help, I have a 88 omc cobra 2.3l that the water impeller shaft broke at the bearing a couple weekends back. What do you suggest I do? Does the shaft pull out I drilled it and tapped it but doesn’t seem to budge.

can you list the part number for the pump? i have a 92 chris craft 208 concept with a 5.8 omc cobra carbureted. experiencing the boat losing power in the water.
